Me & my boyfriend just came for breakfast here as the prices are super reasonable & we were so well looked after. The staff were lovely & so friendly & catered to our every need. We both had scrambled eggs on toast which also has some veg mixed in which is a nice touch & we ordered a tea with milk which were so yummy (which is hard to come by in Indonesia!) The tea was 10k & the scrambled eggs was 30k so it was amazing value. Recommend this spot for breakfast when in Gili T!
Amber Lombok Beach Resort
4.6/550 Reviews
I’m going to start w the positives. Amber is in a beautiful location on a private beach with nothing around. The walkways are lush with blooming banana trees and pineapple plants. I used the spa everyday while I was there. The treatments were all wonderful and in a peaceful ambiance. The staff was very friendly from the front office to the walkways and in the restaurant. The restaurant was very understaffed on Saturday night for the bbq dinner. The servers were great they just needed more hands on the floor. It seemed the manager of the restaurant just sat up front on his phone all the time. The hotel is very family oriented and I didn’t pick up on that at my time of booking. Kids running and screaming all day long. Parents, nanny’s and staff yelling for children that were running around wild all day. At Breakfast, lunch/pool time & dinner they were multiple family’s just letting the kids run around everywhere. There wasn’t any peaceful time at the pool to read or relax. At 1 point there were 12 small children at the pool on Sunday. The one day I didn’t got to the pool because it was so crowded. I love the room when I checked in but that faded quickly. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. I killed at least 10 by hand and every time I left I sprayed the poison can they left in the room. The bathroom had a terrible smell all the time. The bedding was dirty dirty not stained it was unwashed. I left the clean room sign on the door all day I figured by the time I got back from my massage it would of been by 4:30 and it was not. The comforter was covered up by the blanket and never changed since prior guests. It had blood marks that had not been washed for who knows how long. I was bit by something in the night on my face around 3:30am and my face swelled up. I turned the light on but couldn’t see any insects. It hurt so bad. I told the front desk the next morning and they got me an ointment to put on it. It was swollen for days and very painful. I had expectations that it would of been amazing but it wasn’t. My food was all delicious, the restaurant staff was very nice and friendly, the spa was great but the structure of the hotel has a lot to work on for the price. I’ve been in lombok for 2 months and I’ve never seen so many small children. If it was advertised as kid friendly I would of picked somewhere else. Even at check out a family was also leaving and 2 of the 3 kids were crying and I said there has been kids screaming and crying every hour for the 3 days I was there. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms For the money there are many better options in south lombok

Staff try very hard to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't incredibly fancy but it tasted good and had nice touches like actual wheat bread. Near lots of shops and street food, there's not a lot for tourists in this town but this is probably the best neighborhood to be in if you are passing through. The room was nice and clean, only bad part was the mattress needed replacement. Maybe as things things pick up post-pandemic they will fix that.

Regal Repose: Allow me to start with a royal touch – the king-size bed at Holiday Resort Lombok is nothing short of great. It's the type of bed that seems to stretch into eternity, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep that even royalty would envy. Beachfront Bliss: If your idea of paradise involves the soothing sound of waves and the feeling of soft, warm sand beneath your toes, you're in for a treat. This resort is nestled right next to a beautiful beach, ensuring you're only a stone's throw away from nature's beauty. Isolation Serenity: Now, let's address the flip side. If you're the type who seeks the bustling energy of a vibrant town or a plethora of nearby attractions, you might need to adjust your expectations. Holiday Resort Lombok isn't exactly rubbing shoulders with the town or other sights. It's more of an oasis of tranquility, a retreat from the urban hustle. Breakfast Brilliance: It's often said that a good breakfast sets the tone for the day. Well, you'll be pleased to know that the breakfast at this resort is nothing short of great. Whether you prefer a hearty meal or a light start, they've got you covered. In conclusion, the Holiday Resort Lombok is a tranquil haven that caters to those in search of beachfront beauty and peaceful seclusion. The king-size bed ensures you rest like royalty, and the breakfast sets the stage for your daily adventures. However, if you're keen on exploring the local town or tourist attractions, prepare for a bit of a commute. It's a splendid retreat for those who cherish solitude by the sea.
Kebun Villas & Resort Lombok

We stayed here in March 2023. The hotel was empty apart from us taking up 2 rooms (unless we missed other guests). The hotel was lovely but it was just very tired. It really does need some updating, but we totally understand that what with Covid and the earthquakes Lombok suffered, recovery has been slow. The rooms were clean and tidy. Only issue we had was that we struggled with the wifi. Each time it went out, we contacted reception and they managed to get it going again, but it was a regular gripe that it would only last for a short time and then have to be reset. Not the end of the world, but we did chose a hotel with wifi as we need to be in contact with work. Due to the lack of guests at the hotel they were running a very limited menu which wasn’t even open of an evening. Again, we understand that the costs of keeping it open for the minimal guests is not cost effective. However, we would have liked to know before we booked. Luckily, we found a very lovely restaurant (The Office) just over the road. Our friends had been here twice in previous years and therefore know how lovely this hotel used to be. We hope it manages to recover and get back to where it once was.

Very sure this is the best hotel in Senggigi, or even in Lombok, both by service and design. Make sure to try the swimming pool, and go to the beach club down below. There’s also a gallery that sell stuff like bikinis, hats, sandals, etc, at a very reasonable price. Kudos to the developer and management.
Jayakarta Hotel Lombok

We were there only for 1 night for weekend, booked more than 5 rooms for family and children. Despite the pandemic, Jayakarta seems getting busy with events (workshop, wedding etc) and of course many guests were stayed during weekend (sounds good tho). However, during breakfast seemingly lack of attention and supervision of senior staffs. 80% of staffs in-charge during breakfast were trainees. Egg station, pancake & waffle station, even ”gorengan” station conducted by trainee who started their training program just in 5 days and there was not a senior staff who supervised there. 100% guests were Indonesian (local). we stood in a crowd just for gorengan and omelet, there wasn't any marking of queue nor any motto ”first come first serve” nor ”menjaga jarak” I did order, trainee said “wait a moment or we deliver to your table”. Less than 5 minutes I came back, but another guest took my gorengan. trainee said “wait a moment we deliver to your table”. I came back, she said “gorengan has delivered but to a wrong table” (me sigh). I ordered again and told her will be back less than 5 minutes. when I came back, gorengan have taken by another guest. I decided to wait in gorengan stall, and still other guest took the gorengan, even more there was not a single word came from the trainee suggested the guest to “get in line”, and it took 1 hour just to have 5 slices of gorengan *after struggling and complaining. I had no idea, either the trainee didn’t understand about first come first serve or didn’t notice about who to be served in a queue (Executive Chef & FBM have you trained your trainee how to manage the crowd?). Hotel should be more concerned of PIC in a crowd station, at least could be anticipate the occupancy during busy weekend, hire DW or recalled the worker (WFH) whom have skills and knowing how to handle the crowd just to assist over the weekend. mostly guests were really don’t care about ”getting in line”, what a shame on the guest who insisted getting in line but kept ”ditikung”. the excuse of ”we are very sorry there were many guests” should not be occurred if senior staffs in-charged in a “favorite” station for local guest. Never let your guest leave unhappy
Meno Island Villas

We had an incredible stay at Meno Island Villas! We had the 2-bedroom, private pool villa and stayed for almost a week. 'Google', Din, Yan, and As were awesome hosts, super friendly and always smiling, they went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and fun. Our rooms were very comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved using our private pool 3/4 times per day. We also had breakfast included each morning, with a good menu to choose from. It also happened to be my birthday during our stay, and the guys went out of their way to not let me forget it! They also catered to our every need, helping us carry our bags, ordering and delivering food like 'room service' from across the island, a never-ending supply of Bintangs, helping us get the best prices on tours, the service was better than I would expect at home. Could not be more complimentary!! In terms of location, getting around Gili Meno was easy, we walked everywhere (but you can take a horse and cart). You can also rent a bike, but be warned, some areas (particularly on the tracks closest to the ocean) are very sandy, so you would have to get off and walk those, but the further inland you go the more ridable the tracks. Meno Island Villas is pretty much in the centre of the island, so its close to everything. It's roughly 10mins walk to the west coast where the best snorkelling spots are (statues and turtles) as well as all the good bars/restaurants on the island. It's maybe 12mins walk the other way to the east coast where the port is, and probably 15mins to the top of the island where the best sunrise/sunset is. We explored Gili Air and Gili Trawangan on day trips as well which 'Google' helped us organise, and these were very enjoyable, I'd highly recommend going to both of them too. Gili Meno is definitely the quietest of the 3 islands (particularly during the evenings) if that is what you're after, but the snorkelling spots are PACKED during the day. A local described the islands as Meno is the honeymoon island, Trawangan is the party island and Air is the mushroom island! Getting between the islands is very easy. I suggest approaching people directly yourself though, don't go through the shuttle companies and pay 450pp, we averaged 250 for 4 people on private boats, so you can definitely negotiate pretty heavily. In the end, we had an amazing time, filled with great memories and we didn't want to leave!
Santorini Beach Resort

The hotel is very nice, but nothing more. The breakfast was very small, the breakfast was very sweet, but the bread and marble were only, the Wi-Fi is only working next to the reception. Comfortable because it rents bikes at 50k rupies a day, but uncomfortable, The room is a paddle box and inside you feel continuous screws of animals. The bathroom is open (the shower is with the open ceiling) and the door for the bathroom is glass but does not close well so it enters the room on a continuous hot basis.

Excellent Customer Service! Thank you Farid & the rest of the staff for a lovely overnight stay. The breakfast buffer was the BEST we’ve had so far in our journey - the food in the bain-marie was not only fresh & tasty - but was HOT with a wonderful selection of dishes to choose from. The ocean view from our room was divine, with a really cool shower with a view - I had a heavenly long HOT shower (yes I love hot food & hot showers & it’s often not always available in some of the other resorts).
