The hotel was difficult to find until I came to the trip reviews section and read other peoples experiences. It's not very well signed so was problematic. Upon finding it though I was pleasently surprised. Room was nice, clean and big. Unfortunately the TV did not work but I wasn't there much anyway, there was a nice few from rooftop garden as seen my pics

Review: 5-Star Hotel Stay – Mixed Experience. I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel Aug 2025, which, despite its grandeur, is showing its age at nearly a decade old. The property retains an elegant charm, but certain aspects left me with mixed feelings. Room and Cleanliness: The room was impressively spacious, a highlight of the stay, with a bit old decor and ample space to relax. However, the cleanliness was average at best. While the surfaces appeared tidy, there were noticeable signs of wear, and the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke was a major downside. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room through Trip.com and reiterated this during check-in, but was informed that no non-smoking rooms were available. As a gesture, the staff upgraded me to a higher-tier room, which I appreciated, but the cigarette odor was still strong, lingering in both the room and the hotel corridors. This was particularly disappointing for a 5-star property. Service Issue: To address the smoke smell, I called room service to request an air freshener. After waiting 30 minutes with no delivery, I had to call again. The second time, the staff promptly delivered it, which helped slightly, but the experience felt inconsistent with the hotel’s luxury branding. Amenities: On a positive note, the breakfast was exceptional—diverse, mix of local and International cuisine. The swimming pool was another highlight, well-maintained, and a relaxing spot to unwind with an indoor and outdoor scenic view. Overall: While the spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast, and nice pool were highlights, the cigarette smell and inconsistent service detracted from the experience. For a 5-star hotel, I expected better attention to cleanliness and guest requests. I’d recommend this hotel for its amenities but urge management to address the smoking issue and improve service responsiveness to truly meet 5-star standards. Rating: 3.5/5

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly  specially the duty manger Mr Andi. He is helpful *** and always smile . Also special thanks for front desk staff.

The check-in was smooth and fast. The front desk welcomed us with a smile. Room was basic but with an Amazing view! Two choices of view for the bright room given. We chose the one overlooking the city and Senayan stadium. It was the 45th floor and the view was stunning both day and night. Attended a concert at Indonesia Arena. About 18 to 20 minutes walk to the venue. Breakfast spread was good with ample varieties available (both western and local). MRT station is about 5 mins walk and 2 stations to Block M area.

The hotel staff are excellent. Friendly and service orientated.   The facilities at the hotel is great. Good and varied F&B restaurants. The pool and garden on the 5floor excellent. Great place to relax and chill out. There are many other hotels in the area where the Grand Hyatt is located. The thing that stand out most for the Grand Hyatt is the excellent service and friendly staff. The Grand Hyatt is my first choice of hotel when I am in Jakarta.

This hotel is about 25 mins from the airport, the journey back to the airport is little shorter, about (20 mins) due to favourable freeway access. The hotel facilities are great, including a rooftop pool (super clean) and an excellent gym. There is a range of deckchairs and comfortable lounges. Most importantly, this hotel is connected to a shopping centre with range of restaurants including fast food (Burger King) and more refined options, including Chinese and Japanese restaurants. The mall also has a large supermarket (ground level) and Uniqlo chain store. In addition, there is another low cost shopping mall, just across the freeway, accessed via pedestrian pathway. (a 5 minute walk) This is great for clothing at super bargain prices. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and obliging. The rooms have all the essentials and my room (on the 15 floor) is also had great city views. Internet connection is fine and TV channels are OK, but there is no BBC and CNN. My only concern is the bathroom. The bathroom is very tiny and there limited bench space for your own toiletries. In addition, when the taking a shower, the water floods the bathroom floor, hitting the toilet. You need to use bathroom towels to mob the floor, after a shower. A simple shower curtain is required here. The toilet roll holder is difficult to access, (behind you) meaning you need to remove the roll to use. I booked this hotel last minute and therefore my hotel room rate was a little expensive compared to other options. Still, overall, I would recommend this hotel for its shopping mall, the fantastic swimming pool, and overall quality of hotel (despite the bathroom issue).

Stayed one night at DoubleTree Jakarta Diponegoro and had a great time. Check-in was smooth and I loved the welcome cookie. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. In the morning, I enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool before breakfast – such a relaxing way to start the day. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide range of options. Great location near Cikini Station, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back for a longer stay next time!

Was initially worried about the rooms being too old, especially with the pictures so edited. The room was in decent condition, however the kitchen cabinets were in very bad shape. The water from the toilet had a very bad smell when we arrived. We informed the reception and they managed it fix it and it did not become a problem again. The furniture was old but it works. While the room was old, I have to say that the housekeeping and cleaning service was really good, and didn't make this too much of a problem. If you like a newer looking room, I would avoid the classic room. But you are not fussy, this is really good value.

Everything fine as usual. But thera are several problems with their Elevator: the buttons, access card readers, and some noises when moving. Also the water pressure for shower can be stronger.

I've been to many countries around world. I've stayed in many nice boutique, premium and luxury hotels. But believe me, none was as good as Wyndham Casablanca. And you know what makes it so special? From the doorman to the receptionists, from the pool staff to the restaurant waiter, everyone is incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. I can honestly say that just staying here has changed my perspective on life. This may also be due to the kindness of the Indonesian people. Believe me, you won't regret your stay here in this hotel. At a completely unexpected moment (even I'd forgotten) —I'm not one for celebrating birthdays— two staff members came to wish me a happy birthday with a cute cake. They made me experience every emotion at once. I'd like to thank everyone again. You are all beautiful and precious. Well if you are looking for more objective review, then let me summarize it like this: Breakfast : Amazing (mostly Asian cuisine) Pool: Clean and relaxing Staff: Just amazing. Very kind, smiling and helpful Location: City center. Just few meters away of a shopping mall Price: Compared to many other chain hotels, much better. Rooms: Clean and spacious
