"I rarely write hotel reviews, but my stay this time was truly amazing, an absolute steal, and definitely worth revisiting! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Zhejiang University and West Lake, easily accessible by a minimum fare taxi ride. 😀
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the room! It was spotless, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation. It's equipped with voice control, automatic curtains, and a smart toilet, all easy to operate. The mini-fridge was also very practical. The entire room features smart controls; just say 'Xiao Du Xiao Du' to activate them, giving it a very high-tech feel.
The hotel staff were attentive and friendly, and they even allowed me a late check-out. The room had great natural light, very bright and pleasant. It's definitely recommendable, and the breakfast quality was also quite good. Overall, a perfect experience!"

The only place to stay in YongKang. The location is not right in the central area but a new mall just opened Jan 2026 across the road. You can Didi into the main town."

"My overall experience at Wenzhou Yongtang Garden Hotel was absolutely perfect this time. The hotel's design and ambiance are top-notch, from the floral arrangements in the lobby and the faux fireplace to the exquisite and tasteful soft furnishings in the artsy restaurant. Every corner of the hotel is picture-perfect. The location is superb, very close to Wuma Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around.
The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful. The staff proactively guided me through check-in, patiently and courteously explained the floor amenities, breakfast times, and convenient facilities, answering all my questions. I even met the hotel owner, who was also very humble and polite, treating everyone with warmth and enthusiasm, showing genuine care in every detail.
The room hygiene was impeccable. There was no odd smell inside, the bedding was clean and flat, and the desk, mirror cabinet, and TV corners were wiped spotless. Toiletries were replenished generously. The room is designed for a healing sleep experience, with a soft mattress and excellent soundproofing, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The self-service breakfast offered a wide variety of noodles, pastries, fruits, and vegetables. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, with public areas cleaned daily at regular intervals, clear hallway signs, and a quiet and elegant environment. "On a whim, my friend and I decided to head to Taizhou for seafood after failing to get train tickets from Shaoxing to Shanghai. We chose to stay at this hotel, which is an older five-star property. From the room's decor and facilities, it's clear they put a lot of thought into the details back then, with many standardized and pre-fabricated elements, which is quite impressive. The breakfast was also excellent, offering many unique dishes freshly prepared in an open kitchen. Compared to other hotels that often serve pre-cooked items, this was particularly commendable. There were even chefs circulating, directly assisting guests and catering to their requests, which was wonderful. We also had lunch at the hotel. The head waiter was very attentive, professionally introducing the dishes to us, and the food itself was superb."

"The views from this room type are absolutely incredible. You can see Taihu Lake from the bed, the balcony, and even while soaking in the bathtub. The room facilities are built with high-quality materials, clearly a significant investment back in the day, and they've been well-maintained. The shower has excellent water pressure, which, for those who know, is a huge plus. The dedicated direct drinking water tap is also a great bonus. There's a special customer service agent who adds you on WeChat in advance to register your car, allowing direct access in and out. However, the so-called butler service essentially acts as a green channel bypassing the front desk; it only covers standardized services and falls short of truly personalized service, so don't have overly high expectations. The Chinese restaurant on the third floor of the hotel offers excellent quality dishes, though it's not cheap. If you can afford it, it's a great way to experience iconic local cuisine without any unpleasant surprises. Overall, considering the price, it's a decent stay – no big surprises, but no major issues either. The biggest highlight is definitely the view, which makes it worth the price."

The hotel offers a rich variety of dining options. The breakfast buffet on the first floor boasts a wide selection, and we enjoyed several excellent meals at the Chinese restaurant. The late-night diner on the fifth floor, opening at 9 PM, became a regular treat for the kids after swimming, serving various instant noodles with fresh eggs and vegetables. There's also a Japanese restaurant outside the lobby, perfect for a relaxed meal after a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake.
You can rent bicycles and 'Panda cars' to explore the island. The peninsula is ecologically pristine, with blue butterflies dancing and swallows flitting about, showcasing abundant wildlife. Both indoor and outdoor pools have regularly changed water and are well-maintained. The hotel also has its own yacht pier; simply book at the front desk or buy tickets at the lobby shop for direct access to Huangshan Peak, making travel incredibly convenient.
The most heartwarming part of our stay was the housekeeping auntie. When she saw my child's summer homework spread out, she thoughtfully placed an eye-protection desk lamp, noticing the dim light in the room. This small act of kindness was truly touching.
With one island, one hotel, far from the hustle and bustle, nestled between the lake and mountains, enjoying nature in peace – this is the ideal state of a vacation.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud.
Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues.
The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad.
The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

congcong0613Environment: The environment is really superb. I booked a water villa, and the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe water villa, which had a better location and was closer to the hotel lobby. The balcony in the room overlooked the lake, and you could feed fish and ducklings from the balcony railing. There were so many koi in the hotel, some even bigger than the ducks, which was really fun.
Service: Every staff member I encountered was super nice. When my child mentioned that the snacks delivered to the room were delicious, they specially sent two extra portions that afternoon. When I checked out, they even prepared some for me to take away, which was incredibly touching! Thumbs up, thumbs up!
Food: The breakfast area isn't big, but it's delicious! There's a wide variety of bread, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options are very rich. Even if you go to eat after 9 am, there's no long queue; it's quiet with fewer people. We had dinner at the Baiyun Restaurant, which was also very good, costing a little over 200 yuan per person, which was quite reasonable.
Facilities: The hotel is indeed not new anymore, as it has been open for a long time, but it's very well maintained. And this Chinese style just looks ancient and elegant, which I personally really like.
Rowboat: Three of us took the hotel's rowboat. It was 400 yuan for an hour to charter the boat, which is indeed a bit more expensive than outside, but the advantage is no queues, no exposure to the sun, and there wasn't a second boat on the outer lake waterway, so we had a private secret retreat all to ourselves – so comfortable!

This hotel, built on the former site of Yida Silk Factory, is a sight to behold in itself. Tucked away in the heart of the town, it offers a serene and beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle. With the help of our lovely butler, check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth. Following video instructions, we arrived at the Wuzhen parking garage where our butler was already waiting for us, instantly easing any apprehension about visiting a new place for the first time. After entering the scenic area, we took a boat through the entirety of Wuzhen to reach the hotel, truly experiencing the unique charm of a Jiangnan water town from the water. The hotel's butler service truly lives up to its name; unlike many hotels with WeChat concierges who are often slow to respond, every request here was met with an immediate and efficient reply, which was incredibly warm and thoughtful. All in all, I highly recommend Yida as a five-star hotel in Wuzhen. It was definitely the highlight of our perfect trip to Wuzhen! My only regret is not asking for the name of our young, enthusiastic, and very helpful butler. I wish her all the best!

HongsechenhuiI took my family on a holiday trip to Hangzhou, Shaoxing, and Wuzhen. We visited Shaoxing first, then Hangzhou, and finally Wuzhen. Honestly, booking Jin Tang Inn for this leg of the journey was the most successful decision.
I especially want to give a big shout-out and thank Jiajia from Jin Tang Inn! 🌹
She handled everything from check-in, luggage, and shuttle service to and from the parking lot. Perhaps this is the standard service in Wuzhen, and as she herself said, it's 'what she should do.' I walked around Wuzhen several times in the morning, and in comparison, Jin Tang Inn's cleanliness, service, and facilities were all excellent. The breakfast was another highlight.

Guest UserUnfortunately, our stay coincided with heavy rainfall – reportedly the worst since the hotel opened. Due to the weather and general environment, there was a noticeable dampness and earthy smell in our room, and the lighting was dim. Oddly enough, this created a cozy atmosphere perfect for a rainy day, which my child found quite charming, haha. We stayed in the rammed earth 'Wild Boar' area. The downhill stairs leading to our room during the downpour were quite dangerous, very slippery underfoot. We had to be extremely careful going up and down, and my partner even took a tumble. We reported this safety concern to the front desk when checking out. I'd strongly advise against this room type for elderly guests or families with young children during rainy weather. As for dining, KK French Restaurant was very much to our taste, and breakfast was good too. The Chinese restaurant, however, tended to be a bit salty. Regarding hotel activities, you can just show up at the scheduled time for non-paid activities, no reservation needed. For pottery, I'd recommend booking in advance as their capacity is limited. The shuttle service's response time was generally slow. The串串 (mini-train/cart?) was adorable and well-behaved.

Our dedicated butler handled everything with such thoughtful care. They didn't just decorate the room beautifully for my birthday, but also arranged a travel photoshoot, a SPA experience, and a Five Elements assessment. The whole process was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The butler's service was meticulous and responsive, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, the stay far exceeded our expectations. Both the environment and the service were impeccable, providing a truly exceptional experience. It's definitely on our list for a return visit, and we'll choose this hotel again for our next trip. We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay:

**Check-In Experience:**
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:**
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:**
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.
