"Staying in the Jacuzzi Villa was an absolute delight! The Naxi-style courtyard was elegant and peaceful, and the private, temperature-controlled Jacuzzi was clean and comfortable. Soaking under the stars at night melted away all my travel fatigue. I must commend Elin, our butler, for her outstanding service. From coordinating before our arrival to her attentive care during our stay, she was always quick to respond to any needs. She was thoughtful and professional, never intrusive, which truly enhanced the relaxing vacation vibe. The facilities were excellent, and the service was an added bonus – a perfect Lijiang getaway! "The hotel is relatively new, located directly opposite the pier for boat tours on Erhai Lake. I stayed for two nights over the weekend and wasn't bothered by any noise from the road. The room had a JBL speaker, a humidifier, complimentary welcome fruit, and free soft drinks in the mini-fridge. They also offered a complimentary 'starry sky' afternoon tea on the top floor. The gym and swimming pool on the 23rd floor offer great views. Bathroom amenities, hairdryer, and breakfast are all as pictured. It's about 8 km from the ancient city and 10 km from the airport, so it's conveniently located between the two. There are many dining options downstairs, and you can also take a stroll to Erhai Park. The service was excellent; they called to remind me and provide information the day before check-in, and there was a selection of pillows available. Soundproofing was average, but luckily, my neighbors were quiet during my two-day stay. The breakfast restaurant is a bit small but offers specialty rice noodles, roasted sweet potatoes, and roasted potatoes. Overall, it's decent, though it can't compare to Shangri-La. It's comparable to the Dali Shili Hilton. The Shili Hilton's facilities are a bit older, but the rooms are larger, and it's closer to the ancient city, the Erhai Lake corridor, and the Cangshan Mountain cableway, though further from the airport."

"Finally got to stay at the highly anticipated Jinmao Pursun Hotel Lijiang, and it made my entire trip complete! The hotel is uniquely situated within the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area, offering an unparalleled location. The rooms directly face the Thirteen Peaks of Yulong, providing an unobstructed panoramic view. Each room comes with an extra-large viewing balcony, allowing you to relax and wait for the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' without leaving your room. The rooms are spacious, decorated with Naxi cultural elements, creating a wonderful ambiance. Underfloor heating throughout ensures a warm and comfortable stay at this high altitude. The hotel thoughtfully provides oxygen cylinders and humidifiers, fully addressing concerns about altitude sickness. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation, a large bathtub for relaxing soaks, and soft, comfortable bedding for a good night's sleep. Throughout my stay, WeChat butlers Owen and Liora provided excellent service. Before arrival, they proactively reminded me about high-altitude precautions. Owen was highly responsive, communicating promptly via WeChat for any needs and patiently answering all my questions. Check-in was efficient and smooth, and the staff were warm and polite. The park's electric carts were available on demand, making luggage transfer effortless. The food at Xuejingge Restaurant was outstanding, especially the yak hotpot with its delicious, tender meat. Breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and you could enjoy the snow mountain view while dining. The hotel boasts extensive facilities, and the nighttime stargazing activity at the observatory was stunning and unforgettable. They also offer unique cultural experiences like tie-dyeing and Dongba culture workshops, enriching the holiday. The fireplace in the lobby was warm and serene, and the public areas were elegantly designed and perfect for photos. The hotel offers strong privacy, away from the hustle and bustle of the ancient city, providing a peaceful and healing environment. The staff were proactive and thoughtful, offering warm and detailed service. The hotel is well-maintained, and the park environment is clean and tidy. Here, you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the snow mountain, feeling completely on vacation. It's definitely my top choice for a hotel in Lijiang, haha!"

"Naga S Hotel is absolutely perfect for families with kids! ✨ The location is superb; it's just a 4-minute walk to the Starlight Night Market and the Golden Pagoda. After exploring the night market in the evening, we could just stroll back to the hotel, no need to wait for a taxi, which was a huge relief. The sixth-floor terrace with its large lawn offers direct views of the Golden Pagoda, making for fantastic photo opportunities, and the infinity pool has an amazing vibe. The hotel provides an indoor kids' club, unlimited free ice cream, and even kids' toiletries and mosquito repellent kits – the attention to detail is really thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, with good soundproofing, keeping out the night market noise. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including rice noodles and simple meals. Overall, the experience was excellent. If you're traveling with kids to Gaozhuang, I highly recommend this place."

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. They were also very kind in assisting us to arrange a private car for our sightseeing, which made our trip much more convenient and stress-free. The location is excellent, the environment is beautiful and relaxing, and the food was delicious. Our room was also very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Overall, we truly enjoyed our 3 nights here and would definitely recommend Honglongjing Hotel to anyone visiting Dali. The warm hospitality and excellent service made us feel very welcome. "Stayed at InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort. Special thanks to Lisa for her attentive communication throughout my stay and exceptional service. On the downside, the room soundproofing was mediocre, and the welcome fruit promised upon booking was never delivered. Additionally, the breakfast layout could use improvement, as the buffet stations are too far from the dining tables. My assigned seat faced the doors to the outdoor patio, which the staff kept opening and closing. The weather was quite chilly, which unfortunately gave me an upset stomach... That said, the hotel grounds are gorgeous. However, I’d suggest updating the traditional photo-op backdrops, as they feel a bit generic and cliché. Great location and an overall good experience—just hope these little details can be improved in the future."

"The environment - The view from the lakeside room truly is stunning. If you're lucky enough to visit on a clear day, you can enjoy panoramic views of Fuxian Lake right from your room. Facilities - The room facilities are comprehensive. On the first day, the showerhead made a strange noise, but it was fixed quite promptly. The 24-hour gym, accessible with your room card, is a thoughtful touch. The indoor kids' play area is a bit small and not really suitable for a 6-year-old, so my child barely played there. Hygiene - No complaints, definitely up to standard. Dining - My only minor gripe is with the buffet dinner. For two nights, not a single dish changed, and there was no Chinese food section. There was also no salad at dinner, which was quite odd. However, the desserts were very abundant, and some of the dishes tasted pretty good. Overall, I would still recommend staying here when visiting Fuxian Lake."

The overall ambiance is upscale without being ostentatious. The guest rooms are located on the upper floors, offering a spacious layout starting from 45 square meters, complete with full smart-home automation. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide expansive views, the bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. The buffet breakfast at The Dining Room on the 5th floor is lavish, featuring both Chinese and Western options, including authentic Yunnan rice noodles, Erkuai (local rice cakes), and flower pastries. Top-notch service is the consistent standard at Grand Hyatt. Special mention goes to Manager Cao Zhiyi, who was gracious, hospitable, and prompt in her responses. She provided many valuable and practical suggestions for my trip to Kunming and also kindly upgraded me to a Grand Club Room, allowing me to enjoy executive lounge privileges and significantly enhancing the overall value for money."
