From its prime location and excellent room amenities to the meticulous and thoughtful service, everything left a deep impression. It's truly a Shangri-La! The Shangri-La Hotel is situated in the core business district of Renmin Road, boasting a unique geographical advantage. It's close to Zhongshan Square, very near the subway station, and surrounded by a wide array of restaurants and shopping malls. Taking a taxi to popular attractions like Donggang and Xinghai Square is incredibly convenient, saving time and effort for both leisure and business. Its transportation advantage is truly outstanding. As a long-established five-star hotel in Dalian, despite its age, it's evident that the overall maintenance is superb. The cultural ambiance is remarkably rich! Upon entering the lobby, you're greeted by a grand and steady decor with elegant style and soft lighting, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The concierge staff were warm and enthusiastic, proactively helping with luggage and being very polite. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we could feel the five-star hospitality standards! Lisa, the Guest Relations Manager, provided professional and efficient service. Even during the peak tourist season with large crowds, she managed everything in an orderly manner, processing check-in quickly. She also thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits and snacks, showing great attention to detail. The guest rooms are spacious and bright with excellent lighting. High-floor rooms offer panoramic views of the city. The bedding is soft and thick, providing an exceptional sleep experience. After a day of exploring, lying down allows for complete relaxation and washes away travel fatigue. The rooms are cleaned spotlessly, with great attention to hygiene details. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation, stable hot water supply, and high-quality toiletries. The room's soundproofing is excellent, making for a very quiet night undisturbed by outside noise. The hotel facilities are comprehensive. The indoor heated pool has clean water and a comfortable environment, and the gym is well-equipped. The buffet breakfast is a major highlight, with a rich variety of dishes, including both Chinese and Western cuisine. There are freshly made noodles, local specialties, fresh fruits, and various pastries and breads. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are excellent, satisfying different dietary preferences. The restaurant staff are friendly and responsive, making for a great dining experience. The most impressive aspect was Lisa's thoughtful service. She is genuinely warm and friendly, responds quickly to requests, and communicates smoothly. Even our child really liked her!"

"The ”May 1st” holiday was staggered a few days ago, with a 21-month-old baby, the hotel room is more suitable for our family, there is a baby space, there is a table where dad can temporarily work. It seems that after having a baby, the mother's happiness is their functional satisfaction, and I am satisfied. Hotel breakfast is also OK, overall, because the hotel is relatively new, so the supporting facilities such as sockets, charging equipment, smart toilets, and bathroom space in the room are not bad."

"Traveling to Dalian with my child during the summer vacation, staying here was convenient as it was close to all the must-try restaurants. The hotel breakfast was decent too; the roujiamo (Chinese meat burger) was delicious, and the soft toast was also good. Taxis were readily available. The only downside was the incredibly long wait for the elevators. Except for the first day of check-in when it was smooth, we spent a long time waiting for the lifts on the subsequent days. The room facilities are a bit dated, but our particular room was very clean, and the cleaning staff were lovely. The room offered a view of Zhongshan Square, which was beautiful at night."

"The hotel environment is fantastic, very clean and tidy. The rooms are also beautifully decorated with a great design. The front desk staff are warm, polite, and absolutely flawless. The hotel offers free parking both above and below ground, and transportation is very convenient."

"The facilities are a bit older but clean. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the freshly ground coffee is great. Adding breakfast for 89 RMB is really good value. Overall, the instant coffee in the room was a drawback, as I usually stay in places with capsule coffee machines. The underground parking garage is quite old and run-down, but at least parking is convenient and free. There are many small and large restaurants around the hotel, as well as a small ice sculpture museum with a slide, which my kids from the south absolutely loved. The 201 retro tram station is right downstairs, and Russian Style Street is within walking distance, making it very convenient for sightseeing. I also walked to and checked out Dongbei Lingdan Coffee, which was excellent."

"This hotel is ideally located in Hunnan New District, within walking distance of the Provincial Museum, Science and Technology Museum, Wanda Plaza, and the subway station. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable; although some of the facilities are a bit old, they are complete and functional. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, and there are plenty of seats. The small convenience store in the lobby has affordable prices. The staff are professional and enthusiastic; even being stuck in the hotel for two days during a heavy rainstorm wasn't too bad. If I had to pick a fault during my stay, it would be the unstable water pressure. What really stood out was the top-notch executive lounge experience: the afternoon tea and light meals were exquisite and delicious, and the views from the executive lounge were superb. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. If they maintain this level of value, it will definitely be my first choice for accommodation when I visit Shenyang again."

"## Review **Facilities:** The hotel is a completely self-contained area. After parking, you need a shuttle bus to take you to the hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised after checking in. The entire room was designed like a townhouse, very private. Before check-in, the butler sent a list of the hotel's entertainment activities. Since it was winter, there weren't many activities available. We tried a pottery class, saw deer and capybaras, and also made a detour to Qingshui Bay (at our own expense) for a body scrub. **Cleanliness:** The room was immaculately clean. Before using the private hot spring pool, you can ask the cleaning staff to re-clean it, which provides great peace of mind. Soaking in the misty hot spring and relaxing your mind and body is truly a wonderful treat. **Environment:** The hotel exclusively occupies a mountainous area with fresh and pleasant air. Whether it's an evening stroll after dinner or a leisurely walk in the garden in the early morning, it's refreshing and truly makes the trip worthwhile. **Service:** The staff were friendly, often greeting us when we met, and promptly responded to and handled any issues we had, which significantly enhanced the overall stay. **Overall:** This was an almost perfect stay. The private and peaceful environment coupled with meticulous and thoughtful service made us feel incredibly comfortable. I'm looking forward to the future treehouse room types!"
