"Service: Absolutely amazing 👍🏻 We had a dedicated butler who contacted us via WeChat, ready to assist us with anything at any time.
Swimming Pool: I went for a swim in the evening for half an hour. It wasn't crowded, the water was clean, and it was very relaxing.
Room & Facilities: The facilities are a bit dated, but the 5-star hotel amenities are still quite good. There's also a cute pet farm where you can interact with alpacas and sika deer. The hotel provides a very convenient shuttle service. We were even given a free room upgrade!
As it happened to be my birthday, they specially decorated the room for me and actually surprised me with a free 6-inch birthday cake—which was just fantastic! They also sent up a fruit platter in the evening.
Direct Access to Hot Springs: The hotel has direct access to the Julong Volcanic Hot Springs, and hotel guests enjoy unlimited soaking privileges during their stay, which is super convenient."

Our child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. The hotel environment is also fantastic; lush and green during the day, and beautifully lit up at night. The lobby design is grand and dreamy. Being right next to Dinosaur Kingdom makes it a perfect one-stop destination for family fun and vacation. Highly recommend to all parents!"

"The service and location of this hotel are absolutely amazing! The doorman helped with our luggage upon arrival, wheeled it to our room, and generally made things very easy.
Even during peak season, the room service staff were incredibly patient and helpful, bringing water and replenishing supplies without us even needing to ask twice. It was really heartwarming.
We were also able to fully enjoy all the benefits included, which was great.
The hotel's location is also worth mentioning – it's excellent. There's an underground passage that leads directly to Wanda's central commercial area and places like Hallasan, which is super convenient. Wanda really surprised us during this trip to Changbai Mountain. It was fantastic. Special thanks to our butler, Tina, who was very meticulous and thoughtful."

My dad took my child there and ordered black truffle fried rice and stir-fried beef. I don't know if it was because they ordered too little, but the food never came. When they asked a female server about it, her attitude was extremely dismissive, just saying, ”Just wait!” I'm not sure if she wasn't properly trained or if she was just being selective with customers. Later, they asked a manager, who also couldn't give a definitive answer. In the end, they just ordered takeout to the room. Besides this one issue, everything else was great."

"This grand hotel is truly a cut above your average budget hotel. We stayed on the 10th floor, which offered expansive views. The room itself was spacious and clean, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I brought my mom to Jilin for a concert, and staying here really elevated our experience. They offer free parking, and the breakfast was delicious. Both my mom and I were extremely satisfied."

"Before coming, I was worried the hot spring might just be boiler water, but after a soak, those concerns vanished. It really felt like a genuine hot spring – I left feeling completely refreshed! There are plenty of pools, both indoor and outdoor, so there’s something for everyone.
I absolutely have to praise the service! The staff were so warm and cheerful; it was a real pleasure to interact with them. They were efficient and prompt in handling requests, which was incredibly thoughtful.
However, I do have a few minor suggestions. When I first checked in, the initial room smelled strongly of smoke and the phone wasn't working. After some coordination, I was able to switch rooms. I hope the hotel can improve its smoke odor removal in rooms, or perhaps clearly designate non-smoking areas to enhance the guest experience. Also, some of the facilities are a bit dated, and the wardrobe height was inconvenient, making it a bit difficult to retrieve clothes.
Overall, I still highly recommend this place and hope the hotel can fine-tune these details!"

Guest UserMy overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to transportation. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The temperature and humidity inside were just right. The facilities were comprehensive; a soak in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing and helped ease the fatigue after hiking. The service was meticulous, thoughtful, and prompt. I had a very pleasant stay throughout my trip and would give it five stars. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changbai Mountain. The service was very attentive, and they even gave me a small gift.

Firstly, it's the closest hotel to the old mountain gate, just a 2-minute walk away, so we didn't have to queue at all during the National Day holiday.
Secondly, they offer high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off throughout our stay, and can also take us to nearby attractions.
Thirdly, the breakfast was amazing! The restaurant staff were very enthusiastic and proactively asked if we needed anything. The ginseng chicken soup, noodles, dumplings, and wontons were all delicious and plentiful, perfect for us southerners.

The room was incredibly spacious, which I really appreciated! Especially when the afternoon sun streamed in upon arrival, it felt wonderful. The small bed's mattress was a bit firm but perfectly fine for sleeping. The hot springs were very crowded, so soaking in the room's bathtub was a good alternative. The staff were all very welcoming. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it depends on your taste; you'll definitely get enough to eat. The only issue was the weak air conditioning in the breakfast area, though the room's AC was excellent. The coffee in the lobby was quite good, worth trying. Parking was convenient, with plenty of space right out front.

I forgot to take pictures of the room but I love how huge it is, perfect for groups and families to stay. The host is also very responsive and helpful. He picked up and dropped me off from and to the Railway station, just tell him what you need and he does his best to comply to the requests. The foods are also very local and tasty.
The hotel is just few minutes of walk from Wanda Ski Resort. You can also take a taxi from the hotel to Wanda for more or less than 10rmb. The hotel is just near from several restaurants and stores. I even rented my ski suit from the store just near the hotel for only 80rmb/day with a deposit (refundable) of 300rmb which is way cheaper than renting ski suits from Wanda.
The hotel is in Guosongcun and the place is perfect for those who want peace and quiet, away from too much crowd. Overall, my stay was absolutely pleasant and if I come back to Changbaishanxi again, I will definitely book the same hotel 👍👍👍❤️

This was by far the worst hotel experience of our trip. The hygiene in the room was appalling, as shown in the pictures. The slippers were yellow and had hair on them, the power outlets were covered in dust, there was hair in the bathtub, and many tissues were stuck to the window. For a so-called five-star hotel under Accor, I was truly shocked. It's either that the room hasn't been occupied in a long time or the cleaning staff are incredibly negligent. In short, the cleanliness was terrible. It also took half an hour for the slippers we requested to arrive. I eventually went downstairs and showed the front desk the photos… They ended up moving us to a new room and upgrading us, which was some form of compensation. The location is also quite remote. I do not recommend this hotel.

Facilities: There's a big lawn and yard, 5 kittens, and the whole B&B is extremely clean, cozy, and romantic. Every night there's a bonfire party, which the kids absolutely loved. I slept really well for several nights here; the soundproofing is excellent, the room has a humidifier, and the temperature is just right. During the day, an auntie would open the windows to air out the room.
Service: The front desk staff were incredibly warm and polite. They helped us with our luggage as soon as we arrived and enthusiastically introduced the B&B. When ordering food, there was no upselling; they simply recommended portions based on the number of people to avoid waste. They responded to WeChat messages instantly at any time. In the evenings, they prepared warm milk for the children and brown sugar ginger tea for the adults to ward off the cold. Knowing we had an early morning train, they prepared portable packaged milk, bread, ham sausages, and takeaway hot milk and coffee in advance. The B&B's own business car driver arrived earlier than scheduled and dropped us off at a place where we could avoid the rain, even carrying our luggage up a high set of steps for us in the rain.
