"This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel's facilities were outstanding and really caught my eye, and all the bathroom amenities were complete and worked perfectly. The cleanliness was impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers were spotless with no strange odors, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. The environment was quiet and peaceful, and the view from the window was quite expansive. Xiao Zhao at the front desk provided excellent service, always accommodating our requests, which made the experience truly exceptional!"

Call in advance and add WeChat to set up a service group to tell the hotel location, precautions, etc. in advance. The handsome men and beautiful women at the hotel front desk were also super gentle and enthusiastic. Flowers were given when checking in. The hotel room and restaurant environment are very good and high-end. The main thing is that the food is also delicious! The photos taken in the swimming pool are also beautiful and very photogenic. When leaving the hotel, they also gave souvenirs. It's really super heartwarming! I will stay here again if I have the chance in the future and will recommend it to my friends. The hygiene was great, with a good separation of wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Facilities were comprehensive, and the washer-dryer combo was super convenient for travelers. Service was top-notch, and the self-service breakfast included freshly cooked noodles, which was a nice touch. The environment was good overall, apart from a little noise from renovations upstairs. It's also very conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from the Anshun Old Town commercial area, perfect for a leisurely stroll."

"The double bed is large and you can clip Xiaobao in the middle. The tent is large enough for an adult to sleep, and the boss can sleep in the tent. We and our parents have a total of 6 people in just two rooms. Adults sleep in a big bed and children sleep in a tent. This night's stay is comfortable.
The hot spring water of Jianhe is really good, the water is slippery, and the skin is slippery. The hotel's supporting hot spring pool environment is natural, various flower pools and medicine pools, the cave area has not had time to soak, the front has been very comfortable. From the medicine pool of 35℃ to the flower pool of 44℃, from cold to hot, the whole person is warm. The hotel sent 4 hot spring tickets per room. We soaked once on the day of check-in, and then soaked again after breakfast the next day.
The day of check-in happened to be the Lantern Festival. The Qingjiang Pavilion cruise ship was suspended and changed to the fireworks show and song and dance performance in Yang'asha Square. The singer sang on the cruise ship of Qingjiang Pavilion. The 30-minute fireworks show was still shocking and beautiful. Disney's fireworks show is beautiful, but that is fireworks + light and shadow, if you just watch the fireworks, Jianhe Lantern Festival this 30-minute fireworks show is the most beautiful fireworks show I have ever seen.
Yang Asha, I hope that next time I come to Jianhe Hot Spring, I can have time to read the story of the goddess. The book Yang Asha placed in the hotel makes me concerned."

"Facilities: Honestly, for a village setting, I'm quite satisfied with the facilities; they're pretty much on par with what you'd find in the city, and they're well-maintained.

Service: From check-in and explaining the experiences, to every inquiry at the front desk and requests, everything was handled promptly. They even escorted us to the shuttle bus stop at check-out.

Batik Handicraft Experience: Kids would enjoy this even more.
Miao Traditional Costume Experience: Free rental to take photos at the scenic spot.
Overall, while it's pricier than other guesthouses or hotels, personally, I think it's worth it. After all, a trip to the Miao village is a rare treat, and who knows when I'll be back. The photo is of the view outside the window."

Instead of overpriced imported drinks, the mini-bar had common favorites like lemon tea and mineral water, all complimentary. Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it.

整体体验非常差。我们带着很多行李到达时，居然没有任何人接待我们。该家酒店不接受办理入住，办理入住非常混乱，我们还得走到另一家酒店的服务台，等了30分钟，工作人员却不知道该怎么操作。后来我们被安排到另一家酒店的房间，结果又打电话来说那个房间已经被别人预订了，还得再换一次。连瓶装水都没有，要在微信群里发消息才会送来。唯一好的地方就是保安很热心。不推荐入住。整体体验非常差一个度假村行的酒店管理却做得如此之差，不知道是怎么经营下来的。

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement
I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs.
The Highlights:
The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue.
The Downsides:
However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived.
Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

The San Chun Li is right at the observation deck. After entering from the west gate and taking the sightseeing bus, contact them and a handsome guy will be waiting at the observation deck's drop-off point to help with luggage and escort you to your room. The room is spacious and clean, with direct elevator access. All drinks and fruits inside are free, no hidden charges! Breakfast is a buffet and the quality is good!
My husband and I got lost in the village and saw many people struggling with their luggage in narrow, dark alleys looking for guesthouses. We're truly so glad we chose San Chun Li!

💖 Service exceeded expectations! A dedicated butler contacted us in advance, arranged pick-up and drop-off, and was on hand for luggage storage and any other needs we had.
🏠 The room amenities were incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a standalone bathtub – perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. They also provided a Marshall speaker, premium toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer, making for a truly high-quality stay.
Breakfast can be delivered to your room, so you can enjoy high-altitude city views with your morning tea right from your bed. The American-style cafe downstairs is super photogenic, and there are complimentary welcome fruits, coffee, and drinks. Plus, laundry and drying services are available. It's truly ideal for couples!

My stay at Bailian Hotel Huangguoshu far exceeded my expectations. It was an incredibly relaxing escape, almost flawless from start to finish, with only two minor details worth mentioning.
The room design beautifully showcased an elegant Oriental style. It was spacious and airy, with exquisite, high-quality soft furnishings. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were complete and top-notch, making it perfect for both relaxation and enjoying the views. The hot springs were a major highlight; the pools were nestled discreetly within the mountains, offering a serene and private environment. The water temperature was perfect, and soaking in the mist-shrouded pools was a fantastic experience, allowing me to relax my mind and body while enjoying the natural beauty.
The service was impeccable. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, attentive, and patient. They were always quick to respond to any requests, providing thoughtful and discreet service that made me feel truly cared for. The food was also exceptionally satisfying. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, and the dishes were outstanding. Both the refined dinner and the extensive breakfast balanced nutrition and taste perfectly, delighting my palate.
The only slight drawbacks were the somewhat strong smell of the wooden furniture in the room, which dissipated after opening the windows, and the occasional presence of a few mosquitoes, which could be managed with repellents.
Overall, these minor imperfections did not detract from the overall experience. The hotel delivered top-tier quality in terms of environment, facilities, service, and dining. It truly stands out as an excellent vacation choice around Huangguoshu, and I highly recommend it.

Guest UserI've stayed at a few Hampton by Hiltons during my trip to Guiyang, and this one was by far the best! The room was incredibly clean, and you could tell they paid attention to every detail. The staff were all super friendly! Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant staff were so warm, patient, and always happy to help. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Guiyang.

Having previously stayed at Anantara hotels in Thailand and been very impressed, I specifically chose to book one of the only two Anantara properties in China for the end of my Guizhou trip. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, with a lovely staggered layout and an abundance of greenery. We were upgraded to a panoramic king room with an excellent view. There were also plenty of activities for children, especially the ethnic costume photoshoot. This was a lifesaver, as my rebellious son, who usually hates having his picture taken, ended up looking very handsome! The bonfire sunset ceremony in the evening was also a lot of fun. A big thank you to Miss Apple for her service; she added me on WeChat beforehand to discuss our needs and kept us informed about all the hotel activities. When we were in a rush to check out, she even handled all the post-departure billing for us. Anantara truly put a perfect end to our Guizhou journey!

On the downside, the room needs to be updated, the lavender color walls are old and the room and hallway smell smokey. It's 2024 and people still smoke cigarettes in the hotel and lobby.
