Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: The hotel's internal environment is very comfortable, it's very convenient to get to the Wuyi Mountains scenic area, and there are many great restaurants nearby.
Service: All the staff are very friendly, and there's a dedicated shuttle bus service.
The only downside is the hotel's dining, both breakfast and dinner are very average. For this price point, it really should be better. I hope they improve it, and I'll definitely come back again."

"I booked two nights at the InterContinental at a great price since the peak season was over. The room was quite spacious and the facilities were decent. It's only about two kilometers from Sanfang Qixiang, and there are many good restaurants nearby.
Most of the front desk staff were warm and provided excellent service (there was one slightly overweight male front desk agent who flat-out denied my request to borrow a computer to fill out a form, even though housekeeping on the phone said it was possible and another female front desk agent also confirmed I could use one from the lobby). Xiao Cheng from housekeeping was truly wonderful; she always met my requests with a smile. The young staff in the lobby were also very friendly and showed no impatience during the hour I spent filling out my form.
The only minor downside was on the second morning when the cleaner knocked and called several times asking if I wanted service, even though the 'Do Not Disturb' sign was clearly on the door. I had also mentioned earlier that I would call if I needed cleaning. I eventually got quite frustrated.
Aside from this small flaw, everything else was excellent! I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Fuzhou!"

"My overall stay exceeded expectations; I'm very satisfied. Both the hotel's facilities and service deserve a full five-star rating. The room itself was clean and bright, with well-maintained furniture and appliances. The air conditioning provided stable cooling, which was great. The bathroom facilities were in perfect working order, with ample water pressure and instant hot water. The bedding was fluffy and soft, leading to excellent rest quality, and the room offered plenty of storage space with all necessary amenities provided. The hotel's public areas were tidy and elegant, well-maintained, and public facilities were neatly arranged, making for a comfortable experience upon entry and exit.
The front desk staff were warm and friendly – very pleasing. Check-in was swift and efficient, and they provided detailed and thorough answers to my inquiries, quickly responding to any needs I raised. 10 min. walk to the Gulangyu Island ferry, the historically popular Zhongshan Road and the No. 8 fresh market where seafood can be enjoyed throughout the day in the different restaurants.
Free parking during stay is available and the final terminal station of No. 1 Metro station is just 5 min. walk from the hotel.

"First, four points that deserve high praise:
1. **Excellent Service:** Staff were always on hand at the hotel lobby entrance to help with car doors and luggage when getting in or out.
2. **Spacious Design:** The hotel lobby has a grand, high-ceiling design, and the rooms are sufficiently spacious.
3. **Well-Equipped Gym:** The gym is large and has a wide variety of equipment.
4. **Varied Breakfast:** The breakfast selection is extensive.
And three points that need improvement:
1. **Unpleasant Odor:** The hallway on the 16th floor, as well as my room, had a strange smell like a laundry room and drainage pipes. The indoor ventilation was poor.
2. **Insufficient Delivery Robots:** There weren't enough delivery robots, so most food deliveries had to be left in a locker in the hotel parking lot, requiring guests to go down and pick them up themselves.
3. **Limited Power Outlets:** The double room only had one power outlet by the bed, which isn't very convenient for guests staying in this room type."

When they heard we were tourists, they proactively offered recommendations for nearby attractions. After completing the check-in process, the front desk manager personally escorted us to the guest room elevators, which made us feel incredibly welcome. Upon entering the room, there was a plate of welcome fruit on the table. Taking a bite, it was sweet to the taste and warmed my heart.
When I requested a few extra bottles of water, a robot promptly delivered them. Throughout the hallways, lobby, and restaurant, the staff consistently greeted us with smiles. Before check-out, Ms. He at the front desk kindly asked if our stay was satisfactory and offered us several bottles of mineral water, suggesting we take them for our journey due to the hot weather. You could truly feel their genuine care.
From check-in to check-out, I consistently experienced the warmth of the staff. Although I hadn't heard of this hotel before, after staying here, I genuinely felt that staying at a Junlan Hotel gives you a wonderful sense of home!"

With multiple attractions nearby including Wuyishan National Tourism Resort Binxi Block, Zhuxi Memorial Hall and Impression Jianzhou, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Wuyishan hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"First off, a big thank you to Wyndham Garden for the complimentary Oreos upon check-in!
**Location:** It's a bit out of the way, but perfect for travelers who prefer peace and quiet. It's also very convenient for accessing the south entrance of the scenic area.
**Room & Amenities:** The room facilities are comprehensive, including a hot spring pool and a gym, which really adds to guests' leisure time. My room type came with a drying rack, and the wardrobe was huge. However, some of the hangers in the wardrobe were a bit wonky, and the hairdryer in my room type was missing its nozzle. I'd recommend the hotel do a full check of all room types for this.
**Breakfast:** The breakfast was rich and varied, and I loved that the breakfast restaurant had a kids' play area. My only minor suggestion would be to increase the variety of porridges.
**Services:** The hotel offers pick-up/drop-off services, but you need to book them a day in advance.
**Suggestions for Improvement:** I also suggest that the hotel display its awards more prominently, rather than keeping them locked away. It would be great if the mini-fridge in the rooms could be stocked with some carbonated drinks and low-alcohol beverages instead of being empty. The front desk area is a bit small. On a positive note, the fruit section at breakfast was excellent! As a small request for breakfast, could you possibly add some local Bian Rou (wontons) to the live cooking station?

The breakfast selection changes a bit daily, always featuring authentic Southern Fujian specialties. There's a wide variety and the food tastes excellent. The room is also very dorm-like, quiet, and the bed is fantastic, leading to naturally high-quality sleep. The only minor downside is that the pool isn't very big, but the water quality is excellent. Also, our butler, Merry, took great care of us. For example, she'd ask what we wanted refilled in the minibar and prepared turn-down service nightly before we came back (which included a pre-sleep dessert, a floor mat next to the bed, and indoor slippers).

We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

GGuest UserFrom the moment we booked the room, a dedicated butler group was created for us. They bought our round-trip ferry tickets, and upon disembarking, a butler was waiting at the pier to help with our luggage—we didn't have to carry anything ourselves. Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming.
The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.

Plus, the hotel thoughtfully provided children's amenities. There are supermarkets and snack stalls nearby, making it super convenient for getting around with little ones. The staff were also very friendly towards the kids. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and definitely our top choice for family travel!

MM5022****Our vacation ended, but we managed to travel during the off-peak season with our child. My little one absolutely loved it! The hotel is very kid-friendly. There's a dedicated children's heated splash pool that's shallow and even has a small slide. Right next to it, there's a jungle play net, and my child had so much fun they didn't want to leave. Our room was spacious and clean, and the balcony even had a large soaking tub. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance!
