"I recently stayed at the InterContinental Hefei and had an excellent experience. It is currently one of the best hotels in Hefei in terms of overall quality and service. Location The hotel sits right by Swan Lake in the government district. The lake and city skyline views from the rooms are stunning, especially at night. It’s directly opposite Yintai in77, so shopping and dining are very convenient. The high-speed railway south station is only about 15 minutes away by car. Service This is where the hotel really shines. The staff are consistently warm, professional, and proactive. The concierge helped with luggage and doors, and the guest relations team reached out in advance, offered a room upgrade, and stayed responsive throughout the stay. Small requests were handled quickly and thoughtfully. The service level feels genuinely attentive. Room The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the soundproofing was good. My lake-view room had large windows with a beautiful outlook. The bathroom is generous in size and includes a bathtub — a nice touch for relaxing after a day out. Welcome fruit and drinks were provided upon arrival. Breakfast Breakfast is a clear highlight. The selection is wide (both Chinese and Western options, including some local Anhui specialties), the quality is high, and the food is fresh. It’s one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in Hefei. Facilities The indoor pool is clean and temperature-controlled, with pleasant views. The gym is well-equipped. Overall facilities match the five-star standard. In summary, the combination of excellent location, outstanding service, comfortable rooms, and strong breakfast makes this hotel a top choice in Hefei. I would happily stay here again and recommend it for both business and leisure travelers."

"Before coming, I compared almost all the hotels and guesthouses on the mountain, and Beihai stood out as having the best value for money. The room size was quite decent, and the concierge service from Xinyi was excellent – she was very knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and routes. The location is also good; it's about a 10-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is currently the closest viewpoint for sunrise. Bright Summit is a bit further, probably a 45-minute to an hour walk for the average person. The closest to the hotel is the Yungu cable car, about a 20-minute walk, making it very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The hotel restaurant's breakfast spread was very generous, and the à la carte dinner dishes were also delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the old chicken soup – so fragrant! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's also a cat named Yundou, who's plump and adorable and often wanders around the hotel entrance early in the morning. Right outside the hotel, there's also a medical station, a police station, and a coffee shop, which makes the facilities incredibly convenient. While prices on the mountain are high, it's understandable, considering all the food and drinks are carried up by porters. I hope they are compensated fairly for their hard work. Overall, it was a good experience, and the money was well spent."

"It's very quiet here. You can watch wild ducks and all sorts of birds from your room because it's right by the lake. There are only two 'train rooms', which are really spacious and definitely worth experiencing if you're traveling with kids. They also provide plenty of bottled water, and the air conditioning works perfectly."

"This stay in a Club Deluxe room, with exclusive access to the executive lounge, was a fantastic experience. The high-floor room offered a spacious view through its floor-to-ceiling windows, perfect for enjoying the Hefei city nightscape in the evening. The room layout was well-designed, hardware was well-maintained, and it was clean and tidy, ensuring a high level of comfort. The 27th-floor Executive Lounge was quiet and private, offering coffee and tea all day, exquisite and delicious afternoon tea pastries, and snacks and beverages during evening happy hour. It's ideal for meeting guests or quietly relaxing. Breakfast could be a buffet at the Wan Cafe or a la carte at the lounge, which was quieter and less crowded. Special thanks to Sara from Guest Relations for her attentive and thoughtful follow-up throughout our stay. The hotel's pool and gym facilities are comprehensive. For business trips or short stays, the Club Deluxe is an excellent choice."

"On the 3rd, I climbed Huangshan Mountain in the rain and had booked the Xihai Hotel in advance. I missed both the sunset and sunrise, but the hotel upgraded my room from Zone B to Zone A, which was a lovely touch. In the afternoon, I visited the West Sea Grand Canyon, truly the essence of Huangshan, where nature's craftsmanship left me awestruck! I took the cable car back to the hotel from the valley floor, which was a bit roundabout. Luckily, Xiao Li from Xihai gave timely directions, and I returned to the hotel safely in the heavy rain. Back at the hotel, my clothes, pants, shoes, and socks were all soaked, so I quickly took a shower and changed. I was starving and just in time for the hotel's dinner buffet – nice! It was still raining outside the hotel, but that didn't matter, as the hotel had prepared a show: Southern Lion Dance, Sichuan Face-Changing, intangible cultural heritage Fish Lanterns, staff Huizhou opera, Monkey King穿越 (Monkey King through time/space), and a clown host – it was a huge hit. Xihai Hotel added many memorable moments to my rainy Huangshan climb!"

"This hotel is located by the Kangxi River, offering beautiful scenery perfect for morning and evening strolls. It's quiet and clean, with excellent service. The breakfast spread is abundant, and there are free EV charging stations in the underground parking garage."

"I chose to stay at The Langham Hefei for Eric Chou's concert, and my experience exceeded expectations. Mindy, a staff member, arranged the room perfectly in advance, and the front desk even gave me concert merchandise, making my check-in very pleasant. The hotel is super close to the concert venue, about a 5-minute walk, and I could even hear Eric Chou's concert rehearsal from the hotel – it was so exciting! After the concert, returning to the hotel, they thoughtfully prepared ginger tea to ward off the evening chill, showing incredible attention to detail and warmth. The room was comfortable and quiet, the location was convenient for getting around, and the service was attentive throughout. Such thoughtfulness made me feel incredibly warm, and they even helped arrange a late check-out! 👍 I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I come to Hefei for a concert!"

"Banyan Tree Huangshan 💚 For my dad's birthday, the hotel prepared a delicious strawberry mousse cake! We couldn't finish it because the portions were so generous 😋. There are three peacocks 🦚🦚🦚 in the courtyard (they are super smart and will come right up to you for food), and the scenery from the balcony is picturesque (the sunset was absolutely stunning) ❤❤❤. The entire hotel is filled with the Banyan Tree's special essential oil scent, and there's an essential oil diffuser in the room too. During check-in, the butler offered Huangshan Maofeng tea and special pastries and then introduced the hotel's evening ceremonies: 'A Night of Fish and Dragon Dance' and 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Iron Flower Display' ✨. Even though I've seen them many times on TV, the shock of seeing them in person is still indescribable!!! We also received evening gifts: a small Banyan Tree turtle doll and cookies. Since it was a birthday celebration, the Baiyun Restaurant reserved a central scenic table with breathtaking views. The hotel's signature dishes — Huizhou Maofu Tofu, Huizhou Smelly Mandarin Fish, and Huizhou Daobanxiang — were all incredibly delicious and perfect with rice! 😋😋😋 The important thing is that they weren't spicy at all! I feel like this is probably the best hotel in Huangshan City at this price point! Finally, a shout-out to our butler, Amy!"
