Stayed in Ibis styles for 2 days. The hotel receptionists and staff were so approachable and very accommodating. They guided us on how to go about the city with the different transportation available and the must see attractions in Luzern. Breakfast offered a variety of foods. Very clean room and toilet. I will recommend it to my friends who will visit Switzerland.

Location – 9/10 The hotel is in a prime location, right by Lake Lucerne and just a 5-minute walk from Lucerne Train Station. It’s within walking distance of major attractions like the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), the Old Town, and the Culture and Convention Center (KKL Luzern). The area is modern and convenient, though if you’re looking for a more historic, traditional Swiss setting, you might prefer something in the Old Town. Rooms – 8.5/10 The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds, stylish decor, and large windows offering great views of either the lake or mountains. Some rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, making the scenery even more spectacular. The bathrooms are sleek and well-equipped, and amenities like a Nespresso machine, minibar, and a work desk add extra comfort. Service – 8/10 The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient. Check-in and check-out are smooth, and the concierge is helpful in offering local recommendations or organizing activities. Some guests have noted that the service can feel a bit business-oriented rather than warm and personal, but overall, it’s efficient and reliable. The pictures are all views from the window. See the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. Because it is this, we evaluate 5 stars. The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.

The location of the hotel is a little far from the station. Very friendly staff, gave my daughter a welcome gift when checking in, she liked it very much. When we checked out, they helped me bring the luggage when they saw me with my daughter alone. The room is warm and comfortable, the room size is also suitable, the water and drinks in the mini bar are free, and the hotel also gave free bus coupons to tour the city. Our whole family likes this hotel very much.

Reasonable value for money at the price point, about 15 minutes walk from Luzern station and walkable to the old town. Facilities are limited - luggage storage is chargeable and no frills room even by Ibis standards. But clean room, generally acceptable, if barebones.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the train station, right by the lake, close to the church and various attractions in the old town, and convenient for surrounding facilities such as dining and shopping. The hotel rooms are also very clean and tidy, and the service is in place.

One of the cheapest hostel options in Luzern, yet also the best. Beautiful common area aside, the bed capsule is one of the comfiest of my 46-day Europe trip. Free huge luggage storage. And the shower facilities are as well-equipped/designed as many Japanese hostel. Location-wise, it’s 1min walk away from bus stop (and few minutes from an awesome glacial museum), super convenient. The only weird thing was the electronic luggage storage failed on me two times, like I couldn’t open it after closing it with the electronic key. One of the times happened past midnight (receptionist had left), leaving me with no toothbrush/facial care to use before sleeping. Not sure what went wrong. But overall I totally enjoyed my stay here. An accommodation option I’d prioritize next time I’m back to Luzern.

I only stayed for one night as a stopover, but the hotel is very close to the station, and I have already arrived when I got off the bus and crossed the road. There is no air-conditioning in winter, but opening the windows is good enough! The room as a whole is so clean! The staff at the front desk are very kind and answer all questions! And the hotel is 5 miles away from the scenic spots, just walking distance! Moreover, a small supermarket is opposite the hotel, and it only takes a few steps to buy snacks! And there is a D restaurant on the lower floor of the subway station! Overall, it is highly recommended for travelers who want to catch the train the next day.

Overall, it was worth paying. Receptionists are kind enough. Nothing special than other hostels which is the good part. There were 4 out of 6 people in the room. The location is about 10 minutes away from the main station so if you have lots of luggage, you should be aware of it. They said they have a hair dryer in the bathroom but it doesn't and it required me to deposit a certain amount of money to get a private one at the reception. They didn't notice that to me when I checked in. So I was extremely confused until I got the idea.
