"The pool, beds, tv and air con were great. The couch in the room was so uncomfortable, it gave me a sore back. It is disappointing that they have taken the kitchens out of the room as difficult to feed a family with no microwave. We love the pool and location so we probably would go again."

"Picked this location for the nearby scenic visits (lake cave, mammoth cave, surfer point etc). Stayed in room 106 (2 bedrooms apartment),a block behind the reception block, the wifi signal kept dropping out. Feedbacks but without much help. Recommended that you’ve own huge datas. One of the rooms facing the mountain view is colder than the other, having heater in the living room doesnt help at all. Bed firmness is weak so sharing couple may not have the good rest. Comes with washer and dryer, great for longer stay."

"A little hideaway in the Perth suburbs. It was a lovely stay with very friendly staff.
The only let down was the bathroom, it wasn't an enjoyable shower first thing in the morning being scalded and then then chilled continuously. The mirror is so old that it's been cleaned so much that the reflective surface is getting rubbed off."

"I needed to extend my stay, but since my original room was fully booked, I was required to move to a different room. I was told that my luggage would be transferred to the new room, so I packed my belongings and went out.
When I returned to the hotel in the evening, I checked in again and went to the new room, only to find that my luggage had not been moved. I had to go back to the front desk, where I was told that my luggage had been kept there. I find it quite questionable why the luggage was not transferred as promised, and why I was not informed of this at the time of check-in.
Additionally, I noticed an unexpected charge of about $200 on top of the deposit. When I asked at the front desk, I was told it was a deposit. However, after explaining that I had already paid a deposit, they checked with another staff member and admitted it had been charged in error. The amount was refunded immediately, but if I had not noticed and raised the issue, I could have been wrongly charged."

TTisna IskPerfect location for us. Close to cafes/eateries, St. Mary Cathedral, quiet at night...
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would be much better if the lighting in the corridor is brighter, also in the room. We found it a bit too dark.
We did not have any meals at the hotel.
What I find disappointing about Marriott Bonvoy's hotels : internet. the message that it is insecure and the complicated process to get access have been quite annoying.
I tried to book via Marriott Bonvoy's apps, but rate is significantly higher than OTA.
Love Westin's architecture and surrounding (spacious walkway). Could be better with heated pool.
GGuest UserI am writing this to warn other travelers about a major security and privacy failure we experienced at Duxton Hotel WA.
Upon returning to our room at 8:55 PM, we were shocked to find our room door fully open and propped up with a wooden door wedge. Our room was located near the elevator, meaning our personal belongings and privacy were completely exposed to every passerby for nearly 5 hours (housekeeping finished at 4:30 PM).
The most disappointing part was the management's response. They admitted the mistake but refused a refund, justifying it by saying ”CCTV showed no one entered” and ”nothing was stolen.” This logic is absurd. Security is about prevention, not just reporting after a crime occurs. Whether or not someone entered is a matter of LUCK, but leaving the door open was a total failure of their ”Duty of Care.”
They offered a bottle of wine and breakfast, which we declined as it felt like a dismissive gesture for such a serious security issue. If you value your privacy and safety, think twice before staying here. A 5-star hotel should not have a 0-star security protocol.
EEd_CaitCons:
parking a bit limited, unsecure.
Elevator is functional but a bit scary for my partner.
A microwave or similar would have been nice? Or even just cutlery?
In places, property is showing age but within reason.
Noise through floors/walls from other guests, even closing doors a floor above is very audible let alone TV/etc
Shower head needed descaling and was a bit erratic
Pros:
On beachfront, although our view was a bit obstructed.
Dining next door has always been excellent, great food.
Room was large, functional, and quite clean and pleasant.
Bed was comfortable, pillows pleasant and linen clean.
Check in and out was easy and simple.
Overall, I'd stay here again and plan to book a room again in December. Our 2 nights here were great, and watching the water from our table having dinner in the rain was fantastic. If you're expecting a 5-star resort, you'll be dissapointed. If you want a clean, large, comfortable room, in a good location and easy access to good food (recommend the fish and chip shop 5 mins away), and just a pleasant beach front stay? Book here.

GGuest UserI very much appreciate Andrea, the hotel manager’s help to upgrade my room so that I could enjoy my 5-day stay in Coma. Andrea’s sincere and considerate attitude towards guests is very impressive. Thanks again. The location of the hotel is almost perfect, the upgraded room is very spacious: simple but cozy. However, the carpets of the corridors, the sofa of the lobby, the facilities of the hotel and the training of the staff have much room for improvement.

GGuest UserThe check-in process was very simple, and the information provided to us covered everything that we needed to know.
There was adequate room for us to park our SUV, and the surrounding area was nicely covered in suitable plants.
While our chalet was adjacent to others, there was good privacy and sound isolation - we were never disturbed by any sounds of other people staying.
Being adjacent to the beach, there was a pleasant background sound of the waves breaking on the beach. Beach access was available nearby.
WiFi Internet access was included, and worked seamlessly. The chalet had a well-equiped kitchen, a full-sized fridge and good cooking facilities.
When it was time to checkout, this process was equally simple.
In summary, we enjoyed everything provided and found nothing lacking that we needed.
