"The location is excellent, I just returned my Hertz Thrity car downstairs after return my buffing billing. The room is so clean and spacious. In CBD sooooo many choices to eat. Also we join local tour in nearby stop.
Just one thing which I aware in the comment is still the staff atttude….. one in the morning is really unhelpful to answer guests not only me but all. But the afternoon duty is much much better and help me to find even some hangers and put in the room the next day."

"I forgot to take photos, but this hotel is right next to The National Golf Club, one of the world's top 100 courses. The food here is excellent, and you can see the Pacific Ocean directly from the balcony. It was a fantastic experience. The room had a balcony, and you could open the windows."

"I am a regular customer at this hotel and stay here every month for 2 to 3 days. I genuinely enjoy the location and overall experience, which is why I keep coming back.
However, my experience with room cleanliness has been inconsistent. Sometimes the rooms are perfectly clean, but other times they require more attention and improvement in housekeeping standards. The biggest issue for me is the WiFi. It is by far the worst aspect of the entire building. The connection is extremely poor and unreliable—honestly, I can get much better internet speed at nearby shopping malls. Improving the WiFi would make a huge difference to the overall guest experience."

"The accommodation is peaceful and quiet, with a lovely atmosphere and located close to the sea. The breakfast is delicious and clean, which is a big plus. The staff are very friendly and provide great service—especially the Filipino receptionist, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming.

Room service was also very efficient; anything I needed was delivered quickly with just a phone call. I accidentally scraped my leg, and when I asked room service for some disinfectant, the hotel's medical staff came to my room to disinfect and bandage it, even thoughtfully asking how I got the scrape. The breakfast was exquisite, and the flat white truly is my favorite – I had it seven mornings in a row! The restaurant manager and staff were very warm and friendly, and their attire was elegant and neat. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Since we didn't have breakfast included in the booking. There are 2 choices for the breakfast: 1. Hotel's breakfast for 35AUD/person 2. Deli cafe. We had a sandwich & muffin there. It's quick and easy to get ready in the morning.

It's walking distance to the shopping district and Chinatown, and the amazing croissant shop Lune is right across the street. The room view was also fantastic, with an incredible night view – perfect for photos. The staff were all very warm and attentive. I'll definitely choose Grand Hyatt Melbourne again on my next visit.

AAreeThe hotel is located on a small street, yet it's incredibly convenient for getting around, close to everything, but far enough from the hustle and bustle to offer a unique sense of tranquility. Most of the staff and management are of Indian descent, and they seemed to lack enthusiasm, although there were some Chinese staff members we didn't interact with much. The breakfast was quite disappointing, especially compared to the much richer options we're used to in China – there was hardly anything to eat here. A heads-up: the entrance is on the ground floor (G), but check-in is on the first floor (which we'd consider the second floor in our country, haha).

The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable.
Cleanliness:
This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible.
Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief.
Service:
The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously.
Facilities:
Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family.
Room:
The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep.
Overall:
While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.

RRanZhangOverall, we had a pleasant stay at Crown Towers. The location is very convenient, and the rooms were comfortable and generally in line with what I would expect for this price range and hotel category.
That said, there were a few service issues that could be improved. At around 8:00am, we tried to order breakfast through the in-room tablet, but the room service system was no longer accepting orders. The tablet itself was also not particularly user-friendly.
The restaurant reservation experience was more frustrating. We called to book Koko for three adults and three children and were told the earliest available time was around 8:15–8:20pm. We also asked about other hotel restaurants and were told everything was fully booked, with McDonald’s suggested as an alternative. However, when we went downstairs ourselves just before 7:00pm, Koko was able to seat us immediately without any issue. The restaurant service itself was very good, but there clearly seemed to be a disconnect between the central reservation system and the restaurant’s actual availability.
We also booked two rooms, and both bathtubs had drainage problems and required staff assistance.
Overall, the stay was still enjoyable, and the location and restaurant experience were good. However, compared with other five-star hotels we have stayed at, the service coordination and attention to detail could be improved.

The entire property is really spacious, and there's a good distance between each villa, so privacy is excellent. They also have a restaurant, a pool, and various activities you can join. The staff are all very thoughtful and patient. I highly recommend staying here!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very close to the train station and the service is excellent. We had to ask the front desk to change rooms in the middle of our stay because of noisy neighbors, and they quickly moved us to a higher floor. Out of all the hotels we stayed at in Sydney and Melbourne during our Australia trip, this was the only one that provided bottled water, which was a really thoughtful touch. The princess-themed decor and limited edition bear display cabinet on the second floor are also very lovely.
