"The hotel very clean and beautiful! Easy to acces to the main road, located infront of Erhai Lake! Just take Didi 20 minutes from the railway station & 20 minutes to the ancient town. The lake and mountain view through the hotel’s window are beautiful and amazing! I love staying here! The reception also very helpful and friendly, they also serve complimentary tea and coffee at the lobby, we are very enjoy our stay and missed it so much"

"The room was spotless and very comfortable. It had a sleek, modern design, exactly my style. Smart controls added to the convenience. The room was also very spacious. Although it was a bit pricier than other places nearby, I found it to be absolutely worth it. The only minor improvements I'd suggest are: no power outlet under the desk, which made using a laptop a bit inconvenient, and no clothes rack in the bathroom. Opening the window revealed a mountain view, and outside the door were charming farmhouse landscapes – it was so peaceful and lovely. There were sunflowers right by the entrance. I especially want to commend the staff (both male and female) for their excellent service; calling it five-star service wouldn't be an exaggeration. They gave great travel recommendations, suggested places to eat, and offered comprehensive touring advice. Breakfast included coffee and tea, and there were even late-night snacks and bedtime desserts. I absolutely loved it. My younger sister really enjoyed playing with their dog. The large map at the entrance was fantastic – a direct guide to local attractions and activities."

"Located in Caicun, the room offers stunning views directly facing Erhai Lake. The ecological corridor is just downstairs, making the location absolutely superb. The front desk lady was incredibly friendly and even helped us dry our clothes. The staff member was very dedicated; he even drove to pick us up after his working hours. Both of them were fantastic and very professional. The breakfast place they recommended nearby served the best rice noodles I've ever had in my life. Downsides: The room facilities were very basic. There were only disposable bath towels, and the projector quality was mediocre. The bathroom was just 'not particularly annoying,' nothing more. The biggest issue was that my room was incredibly small. The merchant's photos, taken with a wide-angle lens, made it look much larger, but in reality, it was just the bed plus a window sill (for the view). This was disappointing. The soundproofing was also very poor (though this is common for guesthouses in these villages, as they are converted from old buildings). If you're just looking for a place to sleep for one night, I'd say it's an option. But if you want a really nice environment, it's better to go to the Erhai side below Longkan Pier, where there are many places with excellent settings."

"The sea-view room on the third floor offers a fantastic view. The restaurant next door is delicious, and within a ten-minute walk, you'll find Haidong Town with pharmacies, fruit stalls, and all sorts of local snacks, so convenience is not an issue."

"This is by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Dali. It's designed with a beautiful garden aesthetic, and the air is just amazing. The whole hotel feels like a grand estate. The staff are so warm and attentive. The facilities are incredibly comprehensive: a book bar, a regular bar, a sports hall, a restaurant, and a gym (with tons of equipment, which I, as someone who works out daily, absolutely loved!). What I want to praise most about the room is the incredibly spacious shower area, with excellent wet/dry separation. I really love this room type. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, and they even have卡通餐盘 (cartoon-themed plates) – so thoughtful for families traveling with children!"

"This Dali stay experience really exceeded expectations. The location is particularly dominant. It is very close to the airport. It is about 10 kilometers to the high-speed rail station. It is also four or five kilometers to the city. It is very convenient to catch a plane, take the high-speed rail, and go to the city to eat and go shopping. Traveling does not need to toss. The B&B is across the road from the Bohai Sea. You can walk to the wetland across the road. When you are free, you can step on the water, blow the Bohai breeze, and feel the lake view at close range. The room was clean and refreshing, the living was comfortable and relaxed, the boss was warm and welcoming, and the response was very fast. Whether it is a transit stop or a leisure stay, it is very suitable. I will consider it next time I come to Dali. I really recommend it to everyone!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Hidden Mist (listed on Trip.com as Santorini National Tide Sea View Resort). If you are looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful lake views, outstanding hospitality, and easy access to the Dreamland Resort area, I would happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Location: The hotel is located within Dreamland Resort on the eastern side of Dali, approximately 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the railway station, and around an hour from Dali Ancient City. We stayed near the Ancient City first before moving here, which I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore both sides of Dali. The resort is large, beautifully maintained, and very walkable. Complimentary golf cart shuttles regularly transport guests around the resort, while taxis are easy to arrange from the main entrance. There are quite a few staircases throughout the property, so it may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. Service: The service was exceptional and one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Before we even arrived, the hotel contacted us by email and created a dedicated WeChat group with staff from different departments so we could ask questions or request assistance at any time. Everything felt organised, personal, and effortless. From the moment we arrived, a golf cart was waiting to collect us from the resort entrance. Throughout our stay, the staff regularly checked in to ensure everything was going well and genuinely cared that we were comfortable. The handwritten welcome note, housekeeping notes after each room clean, and staff asking what time would be most convenient to service our room were thoughtful touches that made us feel truly looked after. Although our booking only included a complimentary airport or railway station pickup, the hotel kindly arranged an airport drop-off instead because we had arrived from another part of Dali. This was greatly appreciated. Room & Cleanliness: We booked a room with a private garden overlooking Erhai Lake, and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to the peaceful lake view each morning quickly became one of our favourite parts of the stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Everything still feels new and exceptionally clean. The large soaking bath, with bath milk replenished daily, was perfect after a day of exploring. The shower had excellent water pressure. As someone with very long hair, I found the shampoo and conditioner a little drying, so I would recommend bringing your own. The secure WiFi was reliable and fast enough for both my husband and me to work during our stay. Breakfast & Dining: Breakfast was excellent, with a choice between a Western breakfast and a local Yunnan set menu. We tried both, and every meal was fresh, well presented, and delicious. As we had an early flight on our final morning, the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, another thoughtful gesture that reflected the level of service throughout our stay. Our booking also included complimentary afternoon tea with cakes and fresh fruit. It would have been even better if guests could also choose a complimentary tea or coffee. The room includes quality tea, a premium kettle, and a mini fridge, although adding coffee would be a welcome touch, especially in Yunnan. Facilities & Surroundings: The hotel has a convenient power bank rental station in the lobby, and Dreamland Resort is full of beautiful cafés, viewpoints, and photo spots. Flomis Garden is less than a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for visitors. Our booking also included a traditional tea ceremony experience, which unfortunately we did not have time to attend. We also received a beautiful woodblock print as a farewell gift, which was a lovely surprise. Overall: Hidden Mist combines beautiful accommodation with genuinely outstanding hospitality. "This guesthouse is perfect for photos and also great for a relaxing getaway. The biggest highlight is the amazing sea view from the room; the floor-to-ceiling windows face Erhai Lake directly, so you can see the Cangshan mountains and the clouds from your bed. The balcony loungers are also perfect for just chilling out. The room is well-equipped, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a quiet and restful environment. The breakfast, especially the rice noodles and soy milk, was delicious! 😋 My child loved it so much and wanted to stay another day, but our plans changed, so we'll have to come back next time."
