"Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the beach. This particular stretch of beach is less crowded and very clean, and the wooden boardwalk and pavilions are perfect for photos. It was super convenient to watch the sunrise in the morning and enjoy a walk along the shore in the evening. The room had an excellent view; I could see the sea right from my bed. The facilities were well-maintained and felt new. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and they promptly resolved any issues I had. Dining options nearby were also plentiful. The value for money was outstanding! I truly recommend it to anyone visiting Qinhuangdao for a vacation!"

"Five stars, hands down! This hotel is literally steps away from the beach, making it super convenient for tide pooling. The room was spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere. The staff were incredibly thoughtful, proactively offering tide-pooling tools, and they responded to all our requests promptly. The environment is quiet and comfortable. "The hotel's location is fantastic! Right outside, you'll find Tiger Stone Beach, and there are plenty of restaurants around, so you won't have to worry about food or drinks. I'm not sure why, but there are a lot of foreigners here. We even saw a police officer on duty at the hotel who said, 'Finally, I see some Chinese people!' The room was a bit small, but it was quiet, which was a plus. There's a large balcony outside with a sea view. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly warm and thoughtful. They even noticed it was my birthday, wished me a happy birthday, and gave me a small gift! It really made me feel special and happy. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The front desk staff were incredibly patient. The hotel facilities are new and very smart. You can easily walk to Xianluo Island from the hotel, or take a scooter. Taxis are readily available in the area, and it's about a 30-40 minute walk to the bus stop, from where you can transfer to places like Laohushi. There's a square on the way to Xianluo Island with stalls at night selling conch shell bracelets. The location is excellent, the service is great, the room is good, and you can even see the sea right from the hotel entrance."

My stay at the Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe was easily the highlight of my Beidaihe trip—this is truly a gem for travelers craving a cozy and convenient coastal getaway.
Let’s start with its unbeatable location, the biggest selling point. Just steps from the beach, I could walk to the shore in 5 minutes for morning sunrise or evening strolls, and it’s also close to popular spots like Pigeon Nest Park. The surrounding area is packed with dining options, from local seafood shacks to nice restaurants, so grabbing a fresh seafood meal or casual bite never required a long drive.
The rooms exceeded my expectations too. I booked a sea-view room, and the view didn’t disappoint—large windows let in plenty of sunlight, and I could hear the waves from my bed. The space was spacious and clean, with crisp, stain-free linens and a spotless bathroom that had no odd odors. The hotel also thoughtfully provided amenities like a minibar and free Wi-Fi, which added to the convenience.
What really stood out was the service. The front desk staff were warm and responsive—when I asked about nearby attractions, they gave detailed recommendations, and when my family needed a hand with luggage, someone came right away. They even had little extras like kids’ sand toys and strollers available, which would be a lifesaver for families traveling with young ones.
If I had to mention a small flaw, a few guests noted that some bathroom fixtures felt a bit worn, but this didn’t affect my stay at all. For anyone visiting Beidaihe and wanting to be close to the sea with great service, this hotel is a no-brainer. I’ll definitely book here again next time!

After waiting for half an hour with no news, I went back to the front desk, only to find out my room key had already been processed, but no one had informed me. The staff member with glasses was also nowhere to be found. This level of service attitude and work efficiency is truly speechless. I hope the hotel strengthens its training for staff regarding their professional skills and service awareness.

GGuest UserEven during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, AKA still attracts many visitors, especially those with children. It's understandable, given the large lawn perfect for running around and the beach for digging in the sand. The lobby staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful with check-in, accommodating our requests and responding promptly, which made our stay with the kids very comfortable. The concierge at the entrance also helped with our luggage, except for one staff member who insisted my husband move the car. My husband explained that the car wasn't in the way and that our child was asleep and needed to be carried to the room. The staff member then looked at me, and I said my back hurt and I couldn't carry them. That interaction dampened the mood a bit. However, the other staff members were excellent; they understood the difficulties of traveling with children and that happy kids mean relaxed parents. We loved the oil tank mini-train, playing soccer on the big lawn, and swimming in the small pool. I do wish the small pool had supervision. There were so many kids swimming in it, but many adults were treating it like a foot-washing basin, rinsing off sandy feet and even walking in with their slippers! Children are delicate, and I hope this small pool can be supervised too. Catching the sunrise is very convenient – you just go down to the beach!

The late-night snack options were a bit monotonous. The room was clean, and the service was good. I just wish there were more breakfast options. It's quite convenient for ordering takeout.

The overall service is hard to rate because with so many people, some services were excellent, while others weren't. But what I absolutely couldn't stand was the windowless room... It was unbelievable. My rhinitis flared up; there was a strange smell when I walked in. Turning on the air conditioning helped a bit... But every time I went out and got some fresh air... then came back into the room... it was pure torture. Good thing I only stayed one night... I suggest the hotel removes this room type. The experience was truly awful. Everything else was good, and I'd go back again, but I definitely wouldn't book that room type again; it was just too much.....

I highly recommend Senzeyuan for families with elderly relatives and young children, as it's incredibly close to the beach and hot springs—basically, just around the corner. The room service was impeccable. Our room attendant, Qin Ying, was exceptionally attentive. She provided a fruit platter every afternoon, soft drinks in the room refrigerator, and even asked what fruit my child liked. So grateful! 😊 Yudao Island is perfect for children. They can enjoy the hot springs and water park endlessly, and the playground for little ones is also great. The outdoor non-motorized area is also a great place to stroll. Highly recommended! I don't have many photos because I was mostly swimming, so please excuse the quality.

Access to the beach is strange as there are stairs to the beach, but the door is locked, so you have to walk around the hotel to access the beach which is illogical. I was looking for two rooms with a balcony. We didn't get the balcony but luckily the windows were opening and had a screen against the mosquitos. There is only 8 rooms in the hotel that face the sea and have a balcony. One of our rooms was far away from the hotel fan so it was nice and quiet. The other room was by this huge hotel fan and very noisy. Overall, I can definitely recommend the hotel but be mindful of the room that you a choosing. Staff does not speak English, but is very keen to help.
