Romantic Hotels in Chon Buri Province, Thailand

The accommodation is generally good, although the interior is a bit worn out. However, it’s well-equipped with everything you might need: a washing machine, microwave, hair dryer, iron – you could easily stay here for an extended period. We stayed for three days and found it comfortable overall. That said, there was one downside that significantly affected our experience – it was almost impossible to sleep at night due to the noise from the street. Since this is located in the very center of Pattaya, the street noise was noticeable even on the 24th floor with all the windows closed.

Worth every penny. But pls pls pls get the elavator issue under control 😂 spent a lot of time in them. Maybe open the 4. One to the customers. But the place is perfekt

What an amazing property. The views from the pool over all of Pattaya and the surrounding area are spectacular to say the least. The Edge is an instagram goldmine. The room I stayed in was on the 30th floor, very clean and well maintained. The air conditioners were very quiet and cooled the room down quickly. I especially enjoyed the sliding doors in the balcony/bath tub area, which made for some awesome unobstructed photos and a very cool ambiance when having a bath. The hotel is quite secure with a security detail at the front entrance as well as swipe card access throughout the building.

The hostess (Gina Lee) of The Base Central Pattaya was very responsive in text and voice communication. She was kind, very helpful and provided me with a lot of travel and check-in information. The check-in process was seamless and she made effort to let me check-in earlier than usual. The unit was clean and convenient for everything. There were enough amenities included in the unit. The roof-top swimming pool was very nice. We had a pleasant four-days stay. I will definitely book this place again and recommend to others.

A wonderful room, which was made with soul and attention to detail, with very friendly and good staff. Excellent view of night Pattaya and sunrise. We really enjoyed sleeping with the windows open to the sound of the sea and the sea breeze. When there is no wind, beware of mosquitoes. On the second night of stay, I was badly bitten. Recommendation for the owner: add mosquito repellent to the room and make several breakfast options to choose from (possibly a breakfast option with salad and fruit). Thank you very much for the wonderful days spent in this hotel! If there is an opportunity, we will definitely come back to you!

Upon check-in, the front desk didn't provide information about the floor our room was on and the breakfast location. We assumed there was only one building and ended up going to the wrong floor, which was particularly inconvenient since we had an elderly person with us. Aside from that, everything else was excellent.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful and completely exceeded my expectations. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and always happy to go the extra mile. I asked the hotel if they could do anything special as I booked the trip for my boyfriend’s birthday. I was maybe expecting a slice of cake, but they upgraded our room for free and left some lovely decoration and cake on the bed. The bed was super comfy and we both slept really well. The room also gets very dark with not many switches or annoying lights keeping us awake. The shower pressure was great and they had lots of toiletries and amenities. The hotel breakfast was great with lots of choice, and the dinner at the hotel was also really tasty and reasonably priced. The location of the hotel is great with many cafes and restaurants nearby, plus it’s easy to walk to the beach. The pool is so nice to relax and unwind with a lovely view, and there is a lot of shade which is perfect when the sun is really strong. There are a few things that could be done to make the stay even better: 1. The hot breakfast items were always a bit cold, such as the bacon, eggs, potatoes and dim sum. We went at 6am when breakfast just started and it was even cold then, so it would be good to have some hot plates or heated lamps to keep it warm. 2. The shower and bathroom doors are all glass and, as far as I can tell, didn’t have a switch to make them fog up which is a little bit awkward. Make sure you’re comfortable with the person you’re with and tell each other when you’re using the toilet 😅 3. Dressing gowns are a bit small for us, would be nice if they could be bigger and comfier 4. The WiFi doesn’t stay connected and you need to keep reentering the password which is a little bit annoying 5. The room cleaning was a little bit slow. We left the room at 8am and turned the switch on asking it to be cleaned, but when we came back at 2pm it still wasn’t cleaned, even though the cleaners were just a few doors down when we left Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Nice and clean rooms. Very close to a beach if a little far from the city centre. The swimming pool was great but the washer dryers were old and left the clothes wet after two cycles.

Very clean hotel with friendly service and an excellent location just steps from the beach. Central Mall is also sharing the space with Hilton so it’s convenient for meals, coffee, and shopping. I loved the pool and the poolside food service but the water was cold! Overall, highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Pattaya.
