#A Perfect Retreat at The Loft Langkawi# I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Loft Langkawi, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel. From check-in to check-out, everything was effortlessly smooth and enjoyable. Accommodations: The rooms are beautifully designed, combining modern aesthetics with local charm. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night every time I returned from my adventures. Amenities: The Loft offers an impressive range of amenities. The pool area is stunning, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. I also enjoyed the cozy lounge spaces where I could unwind with a book or chat with fellow travelers. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful way to start my day, with a great variety of options to suit every palate. Staff: The staff at The Loft go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and valued. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to provide recommendations for local attractions and dining spots. Their genuine hospitality truly made a difference during my stay. Had the best stay of our lives right here at Ritz Carlton! The entry level room is huge! We love everything about the room! The bathtub is absolutely huge. His and her sinks. Huge shower area as well. The resort itself is huge. Every restaurant is situated at its own building. Buggy services are available around the clock. Though wait time varies. The service from everybody is excellent. You will feel well taken care of. There is also ample privacy especially if you get their villa. Would definitely love to come back here again!

I recently stayed at Mercure Hotel Langkawi for 3 days and 2 nights, and once again, it was a fantastic experience! This is my second time staying here, and it’s always my first choice whenever I visit Langkawi. The room amenities, environment, and overall condition of the hotel were superb. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making my stay truly relaxing. One area of improvement would be the check-in process, as I had to wait until 4:30 PM for my room to be ready. However, the staff were very apologetic and handled the situation professionally. As a kind gesture, they offered me a room upgrade, which I truly appreciated. It definitely made up for the delay and even got me more excited about my stay. Well done, Mercure Hotel! Your service and hospitality continue to impress me. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to staying again in the future.

We have stayed at this amazing hotel a few times. Hotel is very modern and very stylish. As soon as you arrive you are given a warm welcome by Jasni or another member of staff. Check in is easy staff are very polite and everything is explained to you. You are given a welcome drink and a cold towel which is a nice touch. Lovely reception area with comfortable chairs to chill in Rooms are large and spacious and very tasteful decorated. Huge comfortable bed with beautiful bed linen. Tea, coffee,water, fridge,wine glasses provided and even a corkscrew. Iron, ironing board,, hairdryer, prayer mat, they really have thought of everything. Big bathroom great shower, lovely toiletries, fluffy towels and even a bath! Big balcony Breakfast was delicious, so much to choose from Desh the waiter was so friendly and attentive. The roof pool is fabulous, great sunbeds with towels provided. Great choice of drinks and bar snacks available Angelica the waitress is so lovely. This hotel is top class, definitely recommend for a fantastic stay.

Unfair and Poorly Managed Breakfast Seating Experience I had a very unpleasant experience during breakfast at this hotel. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 AM, but there were no staff members present to guide or seat guests. The lack of basic organization created confusion for everyone. I saw an available table with no sign or indication that it was reserved, so I assumed it was open. After I got my food and was about to sit down, a female staff member suddenly rushed over to stop me and told me the seat was reserved. This was both embarrassing and frustrating, especially since there was no sign placed on the table to indicate any reservation. To make things worse, about 10 minutes later, another guest arrived and was allowed to sit at that same “reserved” table — even though they were not the original reserved guests. This clearly showed that the table was not truly reserved, but rather that the hotel was trying to push early guests like us to sit at less convenient tables further from the buffet. This practice completely goes against the principles of a buffet and the idea of first-come, first-served. It felt unfair that early-arriving guests were treated poorly while later arrivals were given better seating. We spoke with the supervisor, and they admitted that it was indeed a mistake on their part. However, the damage was already done, and the experience left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. This hotel seriously needs to improve how it manages breakfast seating and treat all guests — regardless of arrival time or group size — with fairness and courtesy.

Overall I had a very nice stay here, their staffs were very helpful and attentive. The resort is a bit secluded but understandable since they have private beach. Remember to arrange ur transportation like renting a car earlier. The Grab price from resorts to other locations are very expensive. And I don’t suggest renting motorcycles coz at night the road that lead to the resort is very dark and eerie I must say haha. The beach was clean, our room was so big and we can turn the tv to our bedside haha! Lotsss of electric plugs. Movies options was a lot. Facilities are also a lot. Bath tub has bath salt okayy yall! The swimming pool near their cafe is a bit scary though coz it’s really deep like head level deep with no life guard on duty. The price of their foods & drinks were definitely on the higher price side. But we didn’t mind coz there was a night market on Friday just 9mins from the resort. The downside is the rooms that are not ocean view don’t have an elevator so it can be tiring to go up and down. They have quite a lot of breakfast options, but the taste are only so so. But i did enjoy my stay here! 🩷

Had an amazing experience staying at this resort. This is a place for proper rest. Secluded, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, quiet. As beautiful as the resort was, people working there are actually the reason why we would recommend this to all of our friends. We had an unfortunate situation of family member getting quite ill, and staff made sure we got access to doctor, transport, and all of their assistance came with so much kindness that we would be forever grateful. We would love to come back. Thank you for everything.

I recently stayed at The Westin Langkawi, and it was an incredible experience. Situated right by the beach, the hotel offers breathtaking views that create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The property is expansive and well-maintained, with a focus on sustainability, including their own organic farming for fresh produce. The breakfast spread was extensive and catered to a wide range of tastes, ensuring a delightful start to the day. While Indian food was available, the options were somewhat limited. However, the quality of the food overall was excellent. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure all our needs were met. I would highly recommend The Westin Langkawi for anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful beachside getaway. My Room was Garden View

My stay at the St. Regis Langkawi was underwhelming. Despite the high price tag, the room was average at best, with outdated decor and amenities. The service was lacking, with slow response times and a lack of attention to detail. I arrived with my guests for a short 3 days 2 nights getaway. It started when we arrived we were told the hotel is experiencing high occupancy and was told to wait till it was past check-in time for check in. We were also told to check daily with the concierge to see if we could get a late checkout. We booked 3 rooms but in the end only 2 were granted the request. I was told to wait at a meeting room while waiting for my guests from the other 2 rooms which I rejected. After repeated requests with the concierge the manager stepped in and put us at another room with default while waiting for our guests. The breakfast staffs were excellent and prompt in delivering world class service. However the dining options were overpriced and the overall atmosphere felt impersonal. I expected more from a luxury hotel like the St. Regis, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I told the manager that I might not consider St Regis Langkawi again.
