"My English isn't great, but the male manager at the front desk spoke the clearest English I heard on this trip! His pace wasn't too fast either, and he was very enthusiastic and friendly, even cracking a few jokes. He really brightened my day.
The triple room was also very large and spacious, and came with slippers.
However, the hotel's breakfast box was a bit disappointing. It was just pre-packaged snacks and such, very basic. For those catching an early flight who won't have time to eat breakfast at the hotel, I'd suggest not booking a room with breakfast included. It's not worth the price; you're better off getting something at the airport."

"Fantastic hotel, perfect location (very close to the trams, but not close enough to hear them) it was quiet nights, the aircon worked great and we really loved the classical feeling of the room. The staff spoke good English and where very helpful, I called prior to arriving as I read online about driving permits in Rome and the hotel staff where able to advise me.
For the price I would choose this hotel again in the future."

"If I could give them more than 10 out of 10, I would gladly do so! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, respectful, and friendly. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and elegant, with rooms and amenities thoughtfully designed to provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The linens, bedding, lighting, and furniture were all exceptional. Our late-night garden dinner was delicious and made the evening even more special. Spending two nights here was the perfect cherry on top before leaving Rome. Thank you!"

The hotel occupies five floors of a building, built in 1800, on the ruins of the buttresses of a Roman villa, starting from Piazza Mignanelli up to Piazza Trinità dei Monti. It is distributed on two different scales.
The part furnished in classic style, with parquet and fabrics on the walls with a refined taste, occupies the third and fourth floors of the lower staircase, where the reception and the roof garden for breakfast are located.
The part furnished in a modern style, with parquet and painting on the walls, occupies the second and third floors of the upper staircase, where the rooms with full views are located.
Two small apartments, one in deco style and one in modern and panoramic style and an annex, located in Piazza di Spagna, in modern style, with wengé parquet and panoramic balconies overlooking the square of the same name, complete the offer of our hotel.
Rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, with shower or tub/shower and hairdryer and all comforts: air conditioning, HD LED TV with SKY satellite channels, free wi-fi, free water in the minibar, telephone, electric personal safe.
"Room Decor: Typical Rome hotel style. The room isn't actually in the main building (confirm this when booking); it's in a neighboring residential building. It's relatively spacious, with a high window that offers little to no view outside, only good for ventilation. Soundproofing is terrible; at night, you can clearly hear conversations, hairdryers, and toilet flushing from next door.
Bedding and Towels: Normal, comfortable, and clean.
Location: While advertised as being in Plaza de España, it's actually on a hill. You need to take an elevator from the metro exit to the street above. The hotel didn't email us directions beforehand, causing me to get lost following Google Maps. I ended up carrying a large suitcase up about four flights of stairs at night. When I called the hotel, the front desk said there was only one person available and they couldn't come to meet me. Although they apologized afterward, it was still a huge inconvenience. I can't believe this is the kind of service you get for 2000 euros.
Recommendation: Definitely take a taxi to the hotel. There's about a four-story difference between the ground-level plaza and the street above Plaza de España. Although there's an elevator from the metro exit, you might not be able to find it without knowing the route, and the hotel didn't inform me beforehand. It's worth noting that the elevator closes late at night. I stayed two nights, and both times I had to climb a long flight of stairs to get back to the hotel because the elevator was closed. If you don't mind climbing stairs, you can ignore this."

"My primary reason for choosing this hotel was its excellent location, conveniently situated between the airport and the city center, which made taxi rides both straightforward and reasonably priced.
Upon checking in, I was pleased to discover a wide array of recommended tours and activities, such as church musicals and golf cart excursions. This was incredibly helpful for someone like me who prefers not to meticulously plan every detail of their trip.
Lastly, I have to praise their laundry service. Besides the usual per-item pricing, they offer a 'family laundry package,' which I recall being around €15 per kilogram. As we visited during summer, small items like T-shirts and socks don't add much weight. I sent in 3 T-shirts and 5 pairs of socks, and the total cost was only about €12. Each item came back smelling wonderfully fresh, almost like new clothes. What a delight not to have a smelly suitcase!"

"The most convenient location, just opposite Santa Maria di Maggiore and 7-10 minutes walk to Roma Termini and metro. Several bus stops nearby - we use buses to go to Colosseo, Borgese, piazza Navova, and metro for Vatican. Terrific view form breakfast terrace and good breakfast too - there were even several types of milk (regular, lactose free and soy). Surprisingly big bathroom and shower for the historical part of Rome.
One thing that was not convenient is the central regulation of the conditioner (due to the historical type or building) - you have to call the reception to switch it off. All the other stuff is really good."

James1219The good: hotel is in a good location and rooms are spacious especially since we are in Rome, where that can be challenging.
The bad: the hotel is fragmented, meaning there is no center and you have to enter by key into separate buildings with no elevators. That can be both challenging and inconvenient.
The ugly: they have a huge ant infestation problem, like epic levels. Yes, the cleaned it up but it took two days and I think the problem is still there. They offered to move us after the first notification, but that required loading up our clothes and luggage and walking up another flight of stairs.
I know big and old cities struggle to maintain properties, but pest control should be at the top of the list and also more notice about the hotel being 3 separate buildings away from the reception area.

First of all, I don't seem to see Chinese evaluations on this platform, so in order to avoid other friends stepping on the pit and writing some words,  This is not called a hotel, you can understand it as a homestay.  And you locate it there according to his address, don't doubt that he is a gate that is particularly like a community. As shown in Figure 1,  After you find a way to enter the first door, you will see a particularly old elevator, but go down the stairs next to it and pass through a yard. After seeing the second elevator, I went up to the sixth floor and they lived in their home. All residents, so I think it is a homestay.  This ancient elevator needs to be paid attention to that you need to close the wooden door and the iron door outside after you enter. It is equivalent to two doors. You have to close them and you can press the button.  The English at the front desk is not very good. The room is not big and the sound insulation is not very good. And I booked a room with three beds on Trip.com. After I arrived, I found that there was a bed. Although Ctrip's customer service finally made up a difference for me, how much still affects the travel mood. The room is OK, the balcony I feel is a large public balcony outside, the kind that can pass by people, sleep at night and go out during the day must remember to close the window.

The room is large and has a balcony. There is a small refrigerator in the room. Rooms were tidied every day. It takes 7-8 minutes to walk to the subway station. Suitable for free travel. You need to pay Rome city government tax when you visit the store.
