I cannot rave enough about this hotel. From start to finish everything about my stay here was incredible. Thank you Xiao Wu and Xiao Ting for making this stay great. Xiao Wu especially was lovely. He created a kind, warm, and professional first impression of the hotel. The room itself was unlike any I've ever stayed in which is why I chose it. Often pictures do not live up to the reality, but I feel like this room surpassed it. Another poster mentioned the costumes, which were indeed a cute touch. However, what stood out to me were the other small, but meaningful touches. There were bath salts near the bath which also had artificial rose petals and an eye steam mask on the sink. The bed was also strewn with petals without me having to especially request any of it. It really meant to the spa/romantic escape atmosphere. There was also a tub cover and toilet seat cover for sanitary use and floor towels for both the shower and the tub for safety. Five Senses: This room appealed to all of them. Touch: The bath towels themselves were the softest I've ever had at a hotel as was the robe. It wasn't the usual rough, abrasive texture. I don't know what they use differently their laundry, but it works!! The bed was also super comfortable Hearing: I don't know if it was because of the location of the room or the way the room is designed, but it was also the quietest stay I have ever had in a hotel. I didn't hear a peep from my neighbors. Even if I had, I could have used the thoughtfully included ear plugs. Smell: I'm not sure what the fragrance was, but the room smelled incredible. No smoke. No mildew. No bleach. Not overwhelming perfumed either. The scent was subtle but unmistakable and soothing. Sight: Aesthetically pleasing in every way. A serene retreat from the sun, the heat, the busyness, and the bleakness and sterility of the city. The the many textures appealed not only to the hands, but to the eyes. Taste: Water, tea (with real leaves and tea set), coffee, and soda are in the room. I was also offered some delicious cherry tomatoes to snack on when I checked in. I could continue, but I've gone on long enough!! 😅 TLDR; Well worth the time, money, and an extended stay. Wonderful staff. Clean, aesthetically pleasing room with many comforts and amenities. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again.

The main aim of my trip was to visit Disneyland, and this place is lovely. The location is near Disney, so you can stay affordably, and the room is extremely spacious. They even included a small play slide for my child to play while in the room. There is also a larger play area, and my child thoroughly enjoyed it. I've included a picture of my complimentary breakfast which was decent and quite a lot There is on-site laundry, which is a godsend. The customer service was responsive as well. Some gripes was that as I came during the colder season, they had centralized heating; thus, the room was very warm. However the prompt customer service provided us a fan to tide us over. Thankful to them. Maybe another gripe would be the lack of malls nearby if you need to purchase stuff. There's only a small minimart opposite, but you can order items to the hotel, no issue. I will recommend my friends to come here, as well as come back for my future Shanghai trips.

The room had excellent natural light, was very spacious, and the overall environment was great. The lobby featured a high-tech air purifier, which looked quite impressive. They offered free washing machines and dryers, which was incredibly convenient – I could wear my sweaty clothes again the same day. The facilities were comprehensive. The hotel staff provided exceptional service; when I had to go out while my laundry was washing, the front desk even helped me dry my clothes, which was a truly thoughtful gesture. The room rate wasn't high, offering excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Location is fantastic, right next to the Suzhou river. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and well designed. Remember to put a towel down in the bathroom after a shower and the floor is marble and can be very slippery. Hotel breakfast was amazing, we loved talking to the chef who is super kind every morning. I loved the fresh wonton soup, scallion pancakes, omelettes and noodles. There is a gym and a free laundry room too.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a five-day business and leisure trip to Shanghai, and it easily exceeded all my expectations in every key aspect, especially its unbeatable location and the exceptional front desk service that made my whole stay warm and hassle-free from start to finish.[Coffee][Coffee] First and foremost, the hotel’s location is absolutely perfect for anyone visiting the city. It is situated in a prime downtown area within walking distance of iconic landmarks, bustling commercial streets, and convenient public transportation. Metro stations are just a few minutes’ walk away, making it incredibly easy to explore major attractions, business districts, and local dining spots without worrying about long commutes or heavy traffic. For travelers who want to balance sightseeing, work, and relaxation, this central location saves plenty of time and energy, and the quiet surrounding environment ensures a peaceful rest after a busy day out, with no noisy disturbances at night. What truly impressed me most was the thoughtful, professional, and warm front desk service throughout my stay. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and highly efficient, greeting guests with sincere smiles and patiently answering all kinds of inquiries. From my smooth and quick check-in process with no unnecessary waiting, to proactive suggestions for local attractions, dining recommendations, and travel routes tailored to my needs, the team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued. They handled my special requests promptly and carefully, always maintaining a polite and patient attitude even during peak check-in hours. Unlike many hotels where front desk staff feel rushed or distant, here the team balances professionalism with genuine hospitality, making guests feel like they are being cared for by reliable friends rather than just served by employees. The overall accommodation experience was comfortable and satisfying, with clean, well-maintained rooms and quiet, cozy atmosphere that guaranteed a good night’s sleep. But what will make me choose this hotel again on my next visit is its unrivaled convenient location and the heartfelt, high-quality front desk service that sets it apart from other hotels in the area. This is truly a home away from home in the city, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to business travelers, tourists, and anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and warmly hosted stay. It is without a doubt one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time

This hotel is excellent! Pros: 1. The entire staff, from the front desk and housekeepers to the concierge and doormen, were incredibly kind, warm, and professional. However, it seemed like they were severely understaffed. I personally witnessed five groups queuing to check in at night with only one front desk agent. They were clearly overwhelmed. 2. The room was spacious, the bathtub was very comfortable, and the water pressure was great. 3. The location is very convenient for both taxis and the subway. Just a heads-up for those with luggage: the nearest subway entrance doesn't have an escalator or elevator. Cons: 1. There were some minor cleanliness issues. A housekeeper left someone else's soap in my room. 2. The curtains didn't reach the floor, so I was woken up by the sunlight in the morning. 3. While the Wi-Fi was usable and fine for Tencent Meeting, it wasn't as fast or reliable as I would have liked.

A pleasant surprise! The owner clearly put a lot of thought into this place. The courtyard is beautiful, and there are several different buildings for rooms, making it perfect for a family vacation. They also offer multiple shuttle services to and from Disneyland. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all available on-site, and the chef's cooking is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the dry-pot chicken wing and shrimp! I'll definitely be back next time I visit Disneyland!

Absolutely loved this hotel. We arrived very early in the morning from our flight and as our room was ready, they allowed us to check in early with no extra charge. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. We even had a massage chair in the room which was unexpected. The shower was amazing, hot water and great pressure. The bed was comfortable. For the price and location, I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great stay here. The environment was lovely, and I was even welcomed by a few birds when I checked in, which added a nice touch. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, with two pillow options provided, and the room felt cozy overall. The hotel is conveniently near the train station (~200m away), and the staff were very helpful in locating my parcels (Taobao) after a delivery was left in an unusual spot. They actually have a parcel delivery corner in this hotel :) Breakfast was decent, though it became a little repetitive over a 5-night stay, but there are also a few breakfast options nearby if you prefer eating outside. I would say 3-day hotel breakfast is sufficient unless I am in a hurry. Although the hotel name includes “Xintiandi,” it is actually around 1.5 km from the main Xintiandi area. Still, it is a good option if you prefer staying somewhere quieter while remaining close to public transport. I also enjoyed the nearby Lu One mall, which is worth checking out if you have time.

IImyyjmI stayed in the Panorama Bund Retreat King Bed Room with Oriental Pearl Tower View. The panoramic views are unbelievably beautiful and can be enjoyed both from the room and the large bathtub. The window stretches almost the entire width of the room, with a large sofa beside it that allows you to sit comfortably and fully appreciate the skyline. The bed was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the staff even brought scented oils to help with relaxation and sleep, which was a lovely touch. I must have arrived during a particularly busy period because the restaurant was always crowded and there was usually a queue for breakfast. However, on one occasion I was offered a takeaway breakfast box instead as I was in a hurry. As I do not have a Chinese phone number, I had difficulty ordering food from outside the hotel. Since the hotel had no halal and vegetarian options aside from one pasta dish, a member of staff kindly used their own phone to help me place an order and allowed me to reimburse them through Alipay. I thought this was incredibly thoughtful and helpful service. Even spending time in the hotel lobby felt relaxing, as the pink cherry blossoms outside the windows created such a beautiful atmosphere. The spa treatments were excellent and deeply relaxing. Lisa was fantastic and made the entire experience feel comfortable and welcoming. The in-room amenities were also wonderful! I loved the fragrance of the body lotion so much that I bought one from the spa before leaving. This has become one of my favourite hotels, and I already can’t wait to return.

GGuest UserI chose the Vienna International Hotel nearby when I went to pick up my child from Pudong Airport. The shuttle bus service to and from the airport was very convenient. I just called the driver, told him the exact pick-up and drop-off times and locations, and he even helped me with my luggage onto the bus. Upon entering the hotel, I felt right at home. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and checked me in quickly. There were also two kinds of hot tea and a coffee machine available nearby. I needed to print some documents, and it was great that the lobby had a computer and printer for guests to use. Both the hallways and the room were clean and tidy, with a very European decor. On the first floor, there's a washing machine and dryer, which was fantastic for getting laundry done quickly. I also tried a few Shanghainese dishes at a restaurant in the alley next to the hotel, and they were quite delicious. The hotel breakfast was very rich and plentiful. Overall, choosing this hotel was an excellent decision and a great experience.

BBiuBiumamaThis was my first and last stay at the Toy Story Hotel. Having previously stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, the contrast was quite stark. While both are park hotels, the price difference shouldn't excuse the lack of service. The facilities are mediocre, toiletries are basic, the theme isn't particularly engaging, and the recreational amenities are nothing special. Because it's cheaper, it's constantly overcrowded. From check-in to catching the shuttle to the park, it was just endless waiting. The lobby chairs and play areas were packed with people. We booked two nights, expecting a continuation of our fun, but the first day's check-in was met with such coldness from the front desk that my expectations plummeted. I immediately told my child that we'd never stay at the Toy Story Hotel again and would stick to the Disneyland Hotel or wait for a new one to open. We only chose this hotel this time because my child wanted to try it out to celebrate dad's birthday. All three of us were dissatisfied; there was no service to speak of, just a place to sleep and rest. We stayed for two days and didn't encounter Woody or Jessie once. At the Disneyland Hotel, they'd appear multiple times a day at different times, which was fantastic for emotional value. When I asked a staff member when the characters would appear, they simply said, ”I don't know” – aren't their appearance times fixed? Anyway, most of the staff were incredibly cold, which really didn't fit the park's atmosphere. If you're a family with kids and your budget allows, I highly recommend staying at the Disneyland Hotel; the Toy Story Hotel simply can't compare. I do want to commend the staff at the Strawberry Bear shop and the housekeeping lady; they were both very good.

GGuest UserDuring the May Day holiday, I took my whole family to Songjiang. We had originally booked an east-facing room, but due to full occupancy or some other reason, the front desk upgraded us to a lake-view twin room, which had fantastic views directly overlooking Moon Lake. The hotel offers a wide range of facilities suitable for adults, seniors, older children, and toddlers. There's an electric boat, kayaks, paddleboards, an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a children's playground, a pet park, a zip line, and a climbing wall. You can also try fishing, digging in the sand, and trampolining. In the lobby, there were also some intangible cultural heritage activities and a clown making balloon animals. In the evening, we even watched a special May Day firework display. The kids absolutely didn't want to leave the hotel, and the seniors could enjoy a walk or climb the relatively low East Sheshan Mountain. The breakfast was quite rich, and the homemade Eggs Benedict was a unique touch.

__WeChat299757****I booked the Eastern Suburb Atour Hotel for a business trip as my company is right next to it. It's supposedly under the Hyatt brand, and indeed, major brands prove to be trustworthy. The room was spacious and roomy. When I checked in, I asked the front desk about nearby entertainment, and they recommended 'One Foot Garden' next door, which had a lovely, chic vibe. They have a 24-hour shuttle service; you just need to book it a day in advance, which is very convenient. Because I had meetings, the hotel even extended my check-out to 3 PM, which was very thoughtful.

XXiangzuogebaopiqirenI recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai for a business trip, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's location in the heart of Lujiazui is perfect for business travelers, offering seamless access to the financial district and connecting directly to major malls. The Guest Room on the high floor provided a quiet and comfortable environment, ensuring a restful sleep after busy workdays. The highlight was definitely the Guest Club on the 83rd floor. The executive lounge offered a professional atmosphere for informal meetings, and the Happy Hour provided a great selection of food with an incredible view of the sunset over the Huangpu River. The staff were highly efficient and professional, handling all my requests promptly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai for work.

BBickki loooopOverall recommended, as we had a very good experience during our 5 day honeymoon in Shanghai. Location of the hotel was very good, less than 5 minutes walk to the train station(s). The hotel and the room itself was very nice and clean. I usually have dust allergy if the hotel room is even slightly dusty but it was comfortable throughout my 5 days here. The hotel staff was also very very nice and accommodating (shoutout to the receptionist 周敏敏, she helped us changed rooms when we noticed that the room had a slightly smoky smell, as well as other requests). Service is a massive plus. The hotel breakfast has a wide variety as well, saving us a few days of thinking what to eat for breakfast.

GGuest UserMy husband and I decided on Shanghai Disneyland for our May Day honeymoon, and choosing the Guyiju Hotel truly doubled the happiness of our fairytale getaway! It was stress-free and wonderfully relaxing from start to finish, so I absolutely have to write a detailed, glowing review to recommend it to every couple planning a Disney honeymoon! First, let's talk about the most crucial aspect: its location and shuttle service. This is truly a godsend for Disney visitors! The hotel is only about a 20-minute drive from Disneyland, and best of all, they offer a complimentary dedicated Disney shuttle service. We checked in the day before and reserved the 7:30 AM shuttle with the front desk. The next morning, it departed promptly, taking us right to the park entrance. No rushing for the subway, no hassle with taxis, and we even had time for breakfast before heading out – perfectly suited for the relaxed pace of a honeymoon. After watching the spectacular fireworks show at night, there was no squeezing through crowds or worrying about finding a taxi; we simply took the hotel's return shuttle back. It was effortless and reassuring the entire time, making it incredibly convenient for honeymooning couples. Next, I have to praise the hotel environment and room experience – it was romantic and elegant, perfectly capturing the honeymoon vibe! Walking into the hotel, the common areas were tidy and tasteful, with refined details that made for great photo opportunities. Our room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding, changed for each guest, was soft and skin-friendly; lying on it, our fatigue instantly melted away. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, stable water pressure, and plenty of hot water – a hot shower after a long day at the park was incredibly therapeutic. The smart facilities in the room were also a huge plus: automatic curtains, a Bluetooth speaker, and welcoming music, combining technology with warmth. Lying in bed with my husband at night, listening to soothing music and recounting our sweet moments at Disneyland that day, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. What touched us most was the incredibly warm and thoughtful service, truly embodying their motto of 'caring warmth, heartwarming service'! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were enthusiastic and patient, with gentle smiles. They efficiently processed our check-in, and even thoughtfully provided us with Disney touring tips, shuttle times, and proactively reminded us about the significant temperature difference at night in Disney, advising us to dress warmly. During our stay, any issues we had were addressed promptly and attentively. One evening, after returning from Disney tired and hungry, and not wanting to go out for food, the hotel's vending machine was a true 'lifesaver' – offering drinks, instant noodles, and snacks. These thoughtful details made our honeymoon journey full of感动. There's also a supermarket, a 24-hour convenience store, and several restaurants nearby, so if you wanted a late-night snack, it was easily accessible downstairs, making life incredibly convenient. Finally, let's talk about the sweet experience of a Disney honeymoon, perfectly complemented by the Guyiju Hotel, recreating a fairytale romance! At Disneyland, my husband and I held hands walking down Mickey Avenue, watching colorful balloons ascend; we rode the carousel side-by-side, feeling the sweetness of childhood innocence; we challenged Pirates of the Caribbean and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train together, holding each other tightly in thrilling moments; in the evening, we watched the parade, waving and interacting with Disney friends, doubling our joy; and at night, as fireworks erupted over the castle, their brilliant light reflecting in our smiles, we embraced and kissed. In that moment, the fairytale came to life, and our love overflowed. Returning to Guyiju Hotel was like coming home from a fairytale world to a gentle haven. The comfortable environment and attentive service ensured that every tired evening was softly healed, and every morning started with renewed energy. This May Day honeymoon, made magical by Disney's fairytale romance and even more so by the caring companionship of Guyiju Hotel, became one of the most precious and sweet memories of our lives. It offers incredible value for money and a full-score experience. Whether for a honeymoon, a romantic getaway for couples, or a family trip, Guyiju Hotel is an excellent choice near Disneyland! I've already made a mental note – next time we visit Shanghai Disneyland, we'll definitely stay here again, and I'll wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends planning trips.💕
