"After comparing several hotels, I finally settled on Pullman, and it didn't disappoint. The environment is very quiet, and the hygiene is spotless, so I felt comfortable letting my child play barefoot in the room. The bedding and bathroom facilities were all convenient to use. The 'Xiao Guan' (personal butler) service was thoughtful and enthusiastic, and they even upgraded my room. The hotel is surrounded by a cluster of shopping centers and attractions, so there's simply too much to see and do. The river view at night was especially picturesque. Next time I'm in Linyi, this will still be my top choice."

"This is my second stay at the Sheraton Rizhao Hotel, and the service is excellent. On the first day, we had the buffet at the Sheraton's restaurant, and it was quite good with great value for money. On the second day, I wanted to go to the beach, and the staff gave me detailed instructions on the easiest way to get there. The service was really good all around. Last time I stayed, there was a minor issue, but this time they gave me a complimentary room upgrade and free breakfast, which shows their excellent service. If I have the chance to visit Rizhao again, I will definitely stay at the Sheraton Hotel!"

"The room was spacious and very clean. The washing machine had a dryer function, which was a huge plus. We booked a city view room, and while we couldn't see the sea, it was a very short walk to the beach. Getting to several attractions was convenient using subway lines 2 and 3. For our trip to Mount Laoshan, we didn't drive; we just took the subway up to the visitor center. Taxis were also convenient for other attractions. I really liked this apartment hotel; it felt just like home. Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'll definitely stay here again. Parking was easy, and the front desk staff were very warm and polite."

The hotel view was decent, and the room was relatively quiet.
Cons:
The breakfast was terrible, absolutely not worth ¥128 per person. The breakfast hours are 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM, but whether you went at 9 AM or 7 AM, most of the food wasn't hot (even the fried eggs were cold). The restaurant staff lacked service awareness, both in the Japanese restaurant and the breakfast area. This might also be due to understaffing (the same few staff members were seen running around in the breakfast area every day, and because they were overwhelmed, they naturally became less attentive).
The hotel is right next to Wanda Plaza (with an underground passage leading directly to it), offering many dining options. I strongly recommend: booking a room without breakfast, without breakfast!!
The Japanese buffet on the 26th floor is also not recommended. It was arguably the worst all-you-can-eat experience I've had. At ¥298 per person, the food was mediocre. For the sashimi platter, apart from the slipper lobster, everything else (salmon, sweet shrimp, tuna, surf clam, etc.) was not good.
Recommended cooked dishes: beef tongue, beef, scallops, abalone.
Not recommended cooked dishes: Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, squid tempura, shishamo, garlic oysters (small and dry)."

"We came as a group of several families, and the rooms were absolutely fantastic! They are situated right across from the sea, and when the tide comes in, lying in bed feels like you're floating directly in the ocean. The two twin rooms are located upstairs, while the two double rooms are downstairs. The downstairs rooms feature sliding doors that open onto a terrace, providing direct access to the sea. They are also equipped with large windows, some of which function as doors, whereas the two upstairs rooms come with expansive windows. The next day, after the tide came in, we went sea foraging. The guesthouse thoughtfully provided buckets and tools, and we managed to find small snails and limpets, ending up with a bountiful harvest!"

"Huge thanks to Grace for the warm welcome and for upgrading our room! The 270-degree view from the room was absolutely breathtaking – perfect for enjoying sunny days, stunning sunsets, and the beautiful 'blue hour'. The complimentary first-round mini-bar was so well-stocked, even I, who drinks a lot of water, couldn't finish it all. The large bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast at the ocean-view restaurant was also a treat, with both the food and the scenery being delightful. All the staff were very friendly and proactive. The bathrobes were also very comfortable. Overall, it was a truly worthwhile stay; you don't even need to leave the hotel to enjoy beautiful scenery.
Some suggestions:
1. Room cleaning was a bit slow, making us wait quite a while before check-in (Grace did offer some comfort, which we appreciated).
2. The shower water temperature couldn't be adjusted very high. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't turn it hard enough or if the hotel set a maximum temperature to prevent scalding. However, as someone who gets cold easily, I'd prefer slightly hotter water.
All in all, I highly recommend staying here!"

Anonymous UserThis stay exceeded my expectations! From check-in, the front desk staff, ZOEY, was warm and efficient, and even proactively introduced the hotel facilities and local dining options. The whole process was seamless. I paid to upgrade to a sea-view room, and it was a true oceanfront room. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows revealed the entire sea, with an unbeatable panoramic view. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept soundly until morning, lulled by the sound of the waves, and all my travel fatigue simply melted away. The facilities were well-maintained, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were of high quality; attention to detail was evident everywhere. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, and the freshly cooked local specialty noodles tasted authentic, plus the freshly squeezed juices were delicious. The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Strolling along the coast in the evening, enjoying the sea breeze, was incredibly relaxing. The heated pool and gym facilities were also comprehensive, making for a truly immersive vacation experience. Five-star rating, I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

The indoor pool is spacious and well-lit, with depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters, which is great for families and those learning to swim. The beach is a mere 3-minute walk away. It's a public beach, not a private one, so swimming isn't recommended. However, it's fantastic for clam digging, playing in the sand, and wading in the water in the mornings and evenings. It offers a more private beach experience compared to the crowded public swimming beaches, making it an ideal compromise. There are also water sports facilities operated by third parties on the beach, offering additional options.
The hotel features a resident band performance in the evenings, which can be enjoyed directly from the outdoor terrace dining area. I recommend booking a room with a terrace so you can dine and drink while listening to the music. Alternatively, a sea-view room with a balcony also offers a good view. The hotel also has an outdoor mini zoo with cute animals like miniature horses, which is a fun attraction for both adults and children.
The breakfast is decent, meeting the standard for a five-star hotel. This room type offers excellent value for money, so remember to book in advance during peak season.
By the way, a little heads-up: Qingdao is under a fishing ban throughout July and August, so there's no such thing as ”freshly caught seafood” during this time. Most seafood is frozen or imported from other regions. Friends, be wary of false advertising from some seafood stalls.

The condition of the room was absolutely dreadful and dilapidated, with mould on walls and in the bathroom, multiple stains on the walls which looks like mud/blood/killed bugs, and the bathroom smelled really badly. We were given a room with blood stained duvet cover and bedsheets, which was promptly changed after we pointed it out. The only reason that I'm not leaving a one star review is because the receptionist was very kind and professional and he tried the best to sort out the bedsheet situation. We did not request a room change since even the corridors were messy and the courtyard was full of rubbish, so we assumed that the whole place would look like the room we were assigned, especially that we mentioned in our booking that we are on a honeymoon, so we expected to see some effort on hotel's side.
The positives: kind staff, beautiful architecture (but the place is not cleaned often enough), central location so you don't have to climb more stairs as opposed to other hotels, free water and toiletries in the room (although I refused to shower in that bathroom), a beautiful location for the morning sunrise watching and a polite tour guide. I didn't have high expectations since I was keeping in mind that it's a place that's difficult to access, and I rarely leave bad reviews for any accommodation, but I think that it's needed to point out to the property what needs improving so they don't go out of business. I have no idea how on earth they have a 4* ranking. Perhaps we were given a low standard room, however, we went for one of the cheapest options and I was still more expensive than staying in a 5* hotel in Shanghai (that's where we were before)

The breakfast offered a complete spread of both Western and Chinese options with fresh ingredients, and all the facilities were top-notch. I felt right at home. Five-star recommendation! The location is superb, close to the subway and shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room cleanliness was meticulous, even in the corners, and the amenities were high quality. The service was genuinely warm and thoughtful, without being overbearing. The hardware, environment, dining, and service were all impeccable. This hotel is now my top choice!

Guest UserI got to experience sailing on a yacht... I was a bit worried I'd get seasick, but then I saw the beautiful ocean view right in front of me and forgot all my worries. The hotel stay was incredibly comfortable and spacious, and the kids had a blast. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's so convenient for going to the mall, eating out, and shopping. The hotel itself was clean, hygienic, and tidy.

Guest UserMy stay at Rongcheng Ni's Haitai Resort Hotel truly exceeded expectations, I wholeheartedly give it a perfect rating! The hotel complex is nestled against the mountains and by the sea, with excellent landscaping – every step offers a new beautiful view. The room was clean and dry, and the bedding was soft and very comfortable to sleep in. The staff were friendly and responsive to any issues. The beach is right outside, perfect for a relaxing stroll and sea breeze, which was incredibly therapeutic. The facilities are comprehensive, and the resort has a wonderful vacation vibe. I highly recommend it for anyone vacationing in Rongcheng!

The views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer.
The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

My trip to Qingdao was a bit rushed, but overall it was good. I chose the Sanfu Hotel, which is very close to Yan'erdao subway station. The Lvsi seafood nearby was absolutely delicious!

There was a greeter who helped carry our luggage to the room, and a dedicated staff member escorted us to the room, bringing freshly squeezed juice, fruit, complimentary drinks, coffee, and toys. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, which the kids loved. My children also spent a long time playing in the kids' play area on the first basement floor. The staff were very service-oriented, greeting us whenever they saw us. Any issues were promptly resolved by the WeChat concierge. The sea view from the balcony was excellent, and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
