"Staying at this hotel during my trip to Dalian was a great choice. Located in the Donggang area, I mainly booked it for the sea view, and it certainly didn't disappoint—the ocean and night views are stunning, right across from the Water City. The young lady at the front desk was very sweet and welcoming. The room is spacious with two large queen beds, separated by a sliding door. The room amenities are fully equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. You can even enjoy the sea view and the unique, beautiful architecture of the Water City right from your bed. The hygiene and facilities are also top-notch; it was very clean, the shower water was nice and hot, the AC worked great, and it even came with a large refrigerator. Whenever we needed anything, the butler responded very quickly. Thumbs up! 👍 We visited the Water City both day and night, and felt the night lighting was even more breathtaking, with small boats gliding by and surrounding restaurants reflecting on the water—truly gorgeous. It's also very convenient to go to the coast to see seagulls. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with choosing this hotel. Just a quick tip: when taking a taxi, locating the hotel, or ordering food delivery, entering through Hengli Hotel is much more convenient."

"As a tourist visiting Shenyang, I've always believed that the quality of a hotel directly impacts my travel experience. I specifically searched for hotels that were conveniently located for taxi rides to Shenyang North Station, Zhongjie Street, Shenyang Imperial Palace, Marshal Zhang's Mansion, and even Xita. I looked at many rankings, and initially just viewed photos of the hotel's exterior and interior on the app. Then, I compared reviews and breakfast options. Ultimately, I felt that the Hauser Xiruidi offered a great experience for its price, providing excellent value for money. The breakfast and lounge were truly fantastic, with a wide variety of food and drinks. I stayed in the dopamine suite, which is a two-story loft with a staircase. It was my first time staying in such a room and it was a wonderful and interesting experience, making up for never having stayed in a villa. The shower was comfortable, and the hotel's complimentary toiletries were exceptionally good. The second-floor bedroom even had a projector, and there was a large sofa in the living area downstairs. My family also thoroughly enjoyed themselves, constantly taking photos. Both the hotel's interior and the view from the window were very photogenic – something we hadn't experienced in a standard room before. The windows even had stickers showing the distance in kilometers to various attractions, so the overall experience was truly excellent."

"Traveling with friends, I initially thought the night market downstairs would be noisy, but it wasn't at all. We stayed in a sunny room with plenty of light, but the curtains were excellent at blocking it out. The subway station is just a five-minute walk away, and the night and morning markets downstairs were pretty good too. I prefer firm pillows, and when I asked if I could have two more, I returned in the evening to find them already on the bed. After sleeping for a day, I realized my friend and I were fighting over the blanket, so I asked if we could have an extra one. In the afternoon, a staff member (likely the sister/auntie) knocked on the door with the blanket and confirmed someone was there before entering the password. I personally feel the security is quite good; you need an elevator card to get in and go upstairs. Overall, we had a great experience these past few days, and my friend has decided she'll stay here again next time she brings friends. The lights were also particularly beautiful."

"This hotel is perfectly located for exploring Shenyang Imperial Palace and Marshal Zhang's Mansion! It's right in the heart of Zhongjie, so you can just step out and start shopping. The subway entrance is just a few steps away, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions and save time and effort.
The hotel itself is stylish and minimalist, with a great atmosphere in the lobby. The rooms are spotless, and you can tell they pay attention to the details. After a tiring day of sightseeing, sinking into the soft bed was instant relaxation. Despite being in a bustling area, it's incredibly quiet, with excellent soundproofing. The value for money is outstanding, and it's definitely on my list for my next visit to Shenyang.
The hotel offers easy access to local Shenyang snacks and generally maintains a well-kept environment. The public areas are tidy, and the rooms feel cozy with well-maintained amenities.

"The room was great and I was very satisfied. There is a Gong Gong Ice Cream shop right downstairs, which is super convenient. The subway is right downstairs, and it's also very easy to hail a cab. The room was cleaned to a high standard, making for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. The customer service was also top-notch. Plus, they offer 24-hour complimentary coffee, 24-hour complimentary fruit, 24-hour complimentary apples, and 24-hour complimentary tea. There's also a free gym, a free laundry room, and a free kids' club. On top of that, the afternoon pastries served from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM are also super, super good. They even provide free clothing options. Honestly, it's just super, super good, and the breakfast was also incredibly rich with a huge variety of choices. "A good hotel is key to a successful trip! This hotel is very close to Xinghai Square, and across the bridge is an amusement park. The paths are flat, perfect for strollers or 'baby walkers' (though the area right outside the hotel entrance has cobblestones, which can be a bit bumpy for strollers). The room environment is excellent. We are a family of five – four adults and one child – and stayed in the 'Star Blue' room, which was perfectly spacious. It had a 1.8m bed downstairs plus a tatami mat upstairs, and even a single sofa that could be used for sleeping. The space felt generous. There's also a private little courtyard where you can hang kids' clothes to dry (as long as it's not raining). The hotel has a laundry room with a dryer, so no more bringing dirty clothes home!"

The sauna area offered many different types, and I felt incredibly relaxed after a soak. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, the bedding was soft, and I had a great rest. It's a one-stop shop for eating, drinking, playing, and staying, saving you from back-and-forth travel. The service was also excellent, offering great value for money. Guest UserThe biggest pleasant surprise of this Dalian trip was staying at The Castle Hotel 🏰. The grand castle architecture looks magnificent from afar, but seeing it in person is even more breathtaking. The hotel features an overall European palatial style, filled with exquisite carvings and lighting details. Every corner inside the castle is perfect for taking photos.
The guest rooms are impeccably clean and spacious. The mattresses and pillows offer great comfort, allowing you to relax the moment you lie down after an exhausting day. The ocean view is simply unbeatable—you can gaze at the azure sea by day and the illuminated cross-sea bridge by night, a truly therapeutic scenery. The staff provides meticulous and attentive service, showing great patience from check-in to answering inquiries, and even patiently explaining how to use the room key earlier.
The hotel boasts complete facilities, a quiet environment, and is not far from Xinghai Square. It's not just a place to stay; it's an attraction in its own right. The overall stay experience gets a full score, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in Dalian!

Our second stop on the trip was Xinghai Square, and our room's window faced the square directly. There were restaurants right downstairs. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy, and the facilities were relatively new. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and they even had a robot to deliver items. The hotel had a unique Qingqiu Fox theme, which was quite special. The only downside was that the road leading to the hotel entrance was under renovation, and there was a strong smell of garbage, which wasn't a great first impression. Oh, and one more thing, the sauce in the rice noodles for breakfast was incredibly salty; they really need to improve that!

However, this hotel has been around for many years, and I stayed here last time I visited Dalian too. We ate at the restaurant that evening; the prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and the food was tasty. The complimentary hot spring bath had excellent water quality. Our itinerary was to climb Qianshan Mountain on the first day, stay here that night, and then soak in the hot spring on the second day – perfect!

Unfortunately, this hotel turned out to be the worst of my entire two-week trip around China. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak any English. Overall, the hotel didn't seem particularly foreign-friendly. Simple requests like a fruit bowl or an adapter to charge phone baffled them. When I checked in, I found a clump of long black hair on the bathroom floor. I had to ask them to wash the floors again. The hotel didn't offer any apologies or compliments for this situation. Breakfasts were the most disappointing part. This hotel was the only place in China where I had a bad meal😭 The noodles and even the stewed cabbage were swimming in oil, everything was overly vinegary and garlicky, and there were no fruits, vegetables, or desserts. I ate there only twice in five days, and both times I suffered from severe heartburn. The positive moments are an ideal location and comfortable beds and pillows. I slept well there, even though the room's windows overlooked the highway and not the park as stated when booking.

Guest UserThe service was great! A day before check-in, the staff contacted me to ask about my child's information and provided suitable slippers and other amenities. When we arrived, they quickly arranged for an extra pillow and blanket upon request. They also accommodated our late check-out. Although the facilities are a bit old and the summer premium was high, the balcony sea view was absolutely stunning and left us with wonderful memories. A quick tip: it's best to bring your own hairdryer (the hotel's is quite old) and shower slippers (they only provide disposable ones). If you plan on taking a bath, bring your own large bath liner (you can also order one via delivery once you're at the hotel). The main bed was very comfortable, but the sofa bed was not.

There's afternoon tea, and the hot springs weren't crowded and had plenty of space. It's very close to Golden Beach Gate No. 5. We had a great time during our two-day, one-night stay. We arrived around 11 AM, and our room wasn't ready yet. After lunch, the front desk notified us via WeChat that our room was available. All in all, we were very happy, and our child absolutely loved the craft activities!

Had a wonderful two-day stay in Dandong. My original room wasn't available, so they upgraded me, which was a nice touch. The hotel service was excellent. I was having so much fun that I forgot my phone and clothes when I checked out, but the hotel kindly mailed them back to me. A big thank you to Xiao Rui for her thoughtful help!
Oh, and there's a great KTV next door – I practically sang my heart out for two nights straight!
