I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Madera in Hong Kong! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the MTR station, which made getting around the city a breeze. It's also surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants, so you’ll never run out of options for food or shopping. The hotel itself offers excellent service, with attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, providing a relaxing retreat after a busy day of exploring. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a great location, Hotel Madera is a solid choice.
Pros:
1. The rooms are quite spacious. For HongKong it’s a huge deal.
2. Convenient shuttle bus routes. From the West Kowloon train station, as well as Disneyland and to other attractions, or close to them.
3. Despite being located in a relatively remote spot, it has a great infrastructure around it. Like a 7/11, coffee shops, restaurant etc.
4. Amazing views from the hotel room, as well as the surroundings.
5. The hotel staff were all super nice, professional and helpful.
6. The territory of the hotel itself I think it’s very convenient and safe for families with kids. There is a mini golf court. Kids can play around the hotel, and it will be very safe for them.
7. Special thanks for upgrading my room. That was very nice. I really appreciated it.
Cons:
1. Breakfast was super average for the cost (one type of cold cut, two types of cheese) and in general the selection was very basic. (I went to HongKong many times, and stayed in different hotels, so comparing to other hotels with the same price for the breakfast, this one is the worst). But I liked the pancake machine and the view.
2. The kids were allowed to swim in a very deep swimming pool for adults. And I think it’s dangerous for kids, as well as it’s inconvenient for the adults that would like to swim.
Overall a solid 8,5/10.
Yes, the hotel is not new, but in pretty good condition. And maybe for people that will take public transportation will not be convenient to reach it. So take it into consideration. Also it will not be suitable for people who want to party and discover the “main attractions” of HongKong. It will be amazing for a staycation, nature and sea lovers.

Good deal for the price <100usd. Comes with a hearty buffet breakfast for 2. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Convenience is average, there are many shops nearby but the closest mtr is a 10min walk away. Beware Google maps will always try to route you through HK Observatory but access is restricted to staff only.

We have 3 persons. Although the room is smaller than expected, but there is a sofa bed which we don’t have to pay for extra bed. The overall environment of hotel is very nice, the sea view is very good, the quality of facilities is great! We enjoyed staying this hotel very much! I Will definitely recommend it to friends and choose to visit next time in HK!

Excellent large studio room with kitchenette, large bathroom, living space and bed. There is a smart tv to use after a long day of walking and before bed. The aircon works great and the water pressure is good.
4mins to a tram stop, 7mins to a MTR station and 2mins from a bus stop that a service direct to the airport, service A11. Plenty of food options especially heading towards Fortress Hill station.
The view is great, the room is really clean. Will return to this hotel if I visit hong kong again. 10/10 for me.

Hands down, this is a very lovely hotel and is the most glittering gem in Kowloon.
- nice and sleek interior design that puts it on the pedestal in the same league;
- squeaky clean and spick and span;
- very comfortable bed that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack;
- quiet and reclusive, and the modern life and vibrancy is a stone's throw away;
- Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful.
Simply the best accommodation!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the MTR, which made traveling around easy. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any queries.
The cleanliness could use a bit of improvement. There was some dust and a few stray hairs on the floor which have been overlooked. The room was still comfortable, but perhaps a little more attention to detail would make it perfect.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel for its excellent location and the warm hospitality from the staff.
My family and I chose this hotel for a short break in the South area. Although this hotel is kinda far from dt, facilities and room comfort are very good, and there is a free rooftop swimming pool. However, the service attitude of the front desk staff is not very good. The phone is always unreachable. I asked to modify my stay in advance before check-in, which is in line with my booking policy, but they rejected my request and rejected the check-in policy of my order listed on the platform, which is what they asked
Everything else is OK👍

The service was great, check in was quick. Room is new and clean. I left my sweater behind and the reception call me right away for that.
However, they only have 2 elevators at this hotel and one was down for maintenance upon my arrival, so it took me quite a while to get to the lobby. We returned from dinner and the cleaning service people were there to deliver some clean bedsheets and stuff to the hotel and we have to share the same elevator so it also took us a while to get an elevator back to our room. Last but not least, it is the elevator again, guests are require to scan a QR code to use the elevator but the scanner does not work very well and it take a few try to scan the QR code.

Enjoyed my stay!
✅ Left my luggage there early before check in and able to help keep my luggage after i check out
✅ Friendly reception, felt welcomed
✅ There were filtered water, free sweets and coke/sprite at level 5. The common area was also clean with tables you could use
✅ The room and toilet was huge and clean. The bed was those firm kind which i like
✅ stayed at level 14 was quiet even though there is a stretch of bars on ground level
❌ The pillows are too soft but was still acceptable
❌ Only biggest downside was you have to walk up a steep slope to reach the hotel . Not suitable for family with elderly otherwise i feel i had a good stay here. Love this hotel

AAnthonyyyChanIt’s a hidden gem in the city! I stay at Royal View Hotel for 3 weeks, staff are so nice and helpful. Especially the overnight front desk staff really help me a lot! The best thing is the shuttle bus, every 15 minutes from 7am to 11pm, no need to worry about no convenience store nearby! The room was upgraded and the view is stunning. Definitely will stay here again!
MMsHStravelsI've stayed at Disney's Explorers Lodge twice, and both times had a lovely stay and experience! Beautiful hotel and scenery! Staff friendly and helpful!
Christmas time at any Disney resort is just magical!
FFashion_PotatoWhen you walk into the lobby you're astounded by the richness of it. It's shiny and modern and lovely. Everyone is professional and friendly, and you're literally attached to the airport, so all your anxiety melts away knowing you'll get there on time.
You go up the elevator to your floor and the musty smell of mildew slaps you in the nose. You push your luggage through deep pile carpet, trying not to think about how long it's been there and swearing you've seen it in some classic 80s films. You get to your room. It's the smell that hits you first. Moldy. It's overwhelming. You go to open a window but it's secured shut with screws. The warped walls and carpets tell you this hotel was a gem thirty or forty years ago and they've done very little to it since. The refillable water bottle is amazing. I loved it. The shower was hot and the bathroom was clean. Excellent. The smell gave me a headache and I slept poorly because the ac had to stay on and stay cold to keep the smell at bay. The breakfast was a good break from the bleakness of the room. I guess what bothers me is it wouldn't take a whole lot to make some improvements. New carpet. Air purifier. I know there's more than a thousand rooms, but there's no way they're filling them all up at these prices. Just fix it up section by section.

Very Good
ZZwebenLocation is at the ferry terminals for Northpoint and Central. Love this.. No highway in bay view.. Hunghom has just about everything one needs with 2 or 3 blocks. Short list, restaurant mall, Aeon,Park and Shop.Paper Stone Bakery. Don Ding.. missing fast food venues, Fortress Electronics
Lovely rooms.. but virtually no drawers.. no desk in the suites! No butler l, hooks closet for coats by the door. And someone is lecturing like bge managers, housekeeping the flowers mean bugs.. no it doesn't, and yes there should be bouquets .
Great Red Sugar bar , currently for Tea and Happy Hours. Very good buffet and reasonably priced!
Staff all wonderful and helpful.
Watched sailboats in the bay when there was level one typhoon alert..but hotel had all doors locked tight except entrance..very odd.
KKate20Panda Hotel is a good choice if you want a comfortable stay in Hong Kong at a reasonable price. The location is convenient, just a short walk to the MTR and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious for Hong Kong standards and generally clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Facilities include a gym, seasonal outdoor pool, and a shopping mall downstairs. Some areas of the hotel are a bit old, and the air conditioning can be tricky to adjust, but overall it’s a great value for money.
Perfect for families and travelers looking for convenience without spending too much.
RRossI’ve stayed here a few times and the children love it. The pool is great, albeit really cold, and the staff are helpful. It’s located in the middle of where if you’re looking to get to restaurants/malls you have to get a long taxi, but if you want to stay on the property it has a nice restaurant and beach nearby.

MMani Chan, Man LeiSlow service about the check-in procedures, but the room is very nice and have enough room, convenient location, nice night view from the room
GGuest UserThe location is extremely convenient, I couldn’t imagine the best area to stay in Hong Kong for my first experience here! The hotel is close to bus and subway stations. My hotel room view was 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, there was an incident with my personal belongings when a cleaning lady threw away my water bottles and tripod plastic bag. These items weren’t in the trash bin, I’ve never had such experience with any cleaning service that they take responsibility for throwing away their guests’ things. That incident worsened my impression of the hotel. I didn’t feel like my stuff would be safe and sound inside my hotel room. In general, the hotel is nice to stay in Hong Kong.
MMANASVINIGreat rooms, i would say room is big and spacious for 2, considering its Hong Kong. Love that it has a bidet style toilet(like those Japanese ones). Smart hotel- Room lights, curtains and air cond can be controlled through an ipad or even manually with switches. Sufficient plug points next to bed on both sides. Large TV, that can access Netflix.
A 5 mins walk to the nearest TST MTR, McDonalds is opposite the hotel, lots of eateries nearby, theres a close by Mall as well- K11 Artmall.
