The room was really spacious and great, perfect for a family trip. We booked a suite, so it wasn't cramped at all. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the pedestrian shopping street, making it super convenient for shopping and exploring. The breakfast at the restaurant might not have been as extensive, probably due to it being Chinese New Year's Eve, but the restaurant itself was a good size and had a nice ambiance. I imagine their regular menu would have more options. It's quite rare to find convenient parking right in a pedestrian street, and the hotel even has its own dedicated elevator to the parking area, which was a huge plus. I specifically booked this hotel for the sea view, and I'm so grateful to the front desk for upgrading me to a more spacious room. The ocean view from the room was stunning. I also visited the hotel bar on the 22nd floor because of the complimentary fruit tea, and to my surprise, the sea view from there was also fantastic. The hotel is incredibly close to Jinmeng Beach, making it super convenient to go for a walk by the sea – just a few minutes' stroll. All the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, which made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing trip.

We stayed in the Premier Balcony Seaview King Room and the sea view was really beautiful. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the fresh sea breeze. The weather was perfect, not too cold for mosquitoes and not too hot to feel sweaty. The room was very clean when we checked in. However, there were occasional sudden whiffs of smoke coming through the vents even though it’s a non-smoking family hotel with signs everywhere. It affected the room quality a bit. We called hotel service and they offered to change our room, but we were too lazy to move so they quickly sent someone to set up an air purifier for us, which was really nice. The breakfast was excellent with so many options from Western to Chinese cuisine. The only downside was the lack of meat choices; we only saw bacon, pork sausages and the meat in the wonton soup. The gym was great and had everything needed for a proper workout. 💪 The pool was packed with kids in the afternoon so we didn’t use it. Overall a very comfortable stay with a fantastic sea view. The room was incredibly spacious. The special drink at the front desk was delicious, and it was fun to DIY cocktails in the room, even if my first attempt tasted awful, haha. The hotel's location is very quiet; even the seagulls choose to stop and rest here. The architecture has a beautiful, linear aesthetic. Carson provided excellent service, and I kept thanking him. The food at the sea-view restaurant was also quite good, and they had my favorite soup. If I'm in China next spring, I'll definitely come back to Aranya and choose The Azure again. Always grateful! 😇

The front desk staff member was incredibly sweet and pleasant, offering very warm and attentive service. In the afternoon, our child wanted some of the breakfast pancakes. We called the front desk, and not only did she not refuse our request, but she actually managed to find some and personally delivered them to our room. This act of kindness deeply touched our entire family! The hotel's cleanliness, needless to say, was outstanding! The bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was very convenient to use. The room ventilation was also excellent, and I was so impressed by the cleanliness that I specifically looked for dust motes in the sunlight and found absolutely none. Behind the hotel, there's a large supermarket, making it incredibly convenient to pick up anything we needed. Choosing to stay at the University Town Mercure Hotel in Haigang District this time was definitely the right call. Getting a taxi to go anywhere was super convenient, and it even felt like tourists had priority! A big thumbs up to Qinhuangdao's cultural and tourism department! When traveling as a family, safety and comfort are paramount. We originally considered a guesthouse, but after weighing all factors, especially with a child, a hotel was definitely the better choice. Next time we visit Qinhuangdao, we will certainly head straight for Mercure again!

This hotel is located in the first phase, and its surroundings are incredibly convenient. There's a canteen, a coffee shop, a bakery, a hot spring, shops, and three restaurants, all within a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. Speaking of the hotel itself, it features a Japanese-style design, and both the hardware and software are impeccably maintained, perfectly complementing the outside scenery (you can refer to the pictures). Check-in starts at 3 PM, but if you arrive early, you can explore the nearby area. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the second phase, which takes about 5 minutes. Highly recommended!

The room had a sea view with Shaun the Sheep decor, which my child absolutely loved. We could even watch the sea from the balcony. They provided a children's toilet, and kid-sized toiletries and slippers. The restaurant food was quite good, and there's a kids' play area. The hotel has its own lawn and a private beach. Both the lawn and the sea were very clean, and there were many water activities available. We came the weekend before May Day, and even the speedboat rides were already running.

But my family found it too remote and inconvenient, and they'd head to the main park as soon as it was bright out 😂. If you love peace and solitude, go for it. If you like excitement, shopping, and dining, weigh your options carefully (actually, the shuttle service is very convenient, it just gives a different impression). 🌿 Environment | Elegant Zen, a Vibe That Struck a Chord with Me The overall environment really resonated with me! The breakfast restaurant isn't huge, and the variety isn't extensive, but it excels in refinement and uniqueness. My stay at Sheraton Beidaihe was absolutely wonderful, and I would gladly give it five stars without hesitation. The location is perfect—just steps away from the beach, with refreshing sea breezes greeting you every morning. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and furnished with such comfort that I truly felt at home.What really made this experience stand out, however, was the service—especially from Joey. From the moment I checked in, Joey was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He offered thoughtful recommendations on local dining spots, arranged transportation seamlessly, His professionalism combined with sincere hospitality made me feel like more than just a guest—I felt like a valued friend.Really really a nice trip.

I genuinely feel this is one of the best hotels, if not the best, in the Beidaihe area. **Resort Layout:** It's a self-contained resort located south of Aranya, boasting a private beach. What's more, it features its own picturesque lake and mountain scenery within the resort, along with a complete 'town' area offering various amenities. The lake views are absolutely stunning, on par with the sea views, which are just a short walk away. The resort includes an InterContinental Indigo Hotel, offering a variety of rooms and private hot spring suites (akin to stacked villas). There's also the more budget-friendly Rushi Apartments. Apparently, a new high-end hotel is under construction and should be ready for occupancy by summer. Additionally, the resort is equipped with various restaurants and entertainment venues. While not as extensive as Aranya, its main advantage is fewer crowds. For shorter stays, it's perfectly sufficient. **Transportation:** Driving to the resort requires parking in one of the main parking areas: near the hotel lobby, Rushi Restaurant/private hot spring suites, or the town's dining area (closer to the beach). Notably, the resort has ample parking spaces and charging stations, including both fast and slow chargers. This is incredibly convenient and distributed across different parking zones to meet the needs of guests in various areas, making it extremely friendly for electric vehicle users traveling from Beijing. Furthermore, there are electric shuttle carts that run every ten minutes, very punctually and conveniently, and both people and dogs are welcome aboard. The resort also offers rentals for bicycles, parent-child bikes, pet bikes, and even electric bikes, catering to everyone from kids to seniors, including pets. **Amenities & Services:** The hotel offers excellent spa, yoga, and sound bath healing services/classes. The spa rooms are very spacious, with meticulous facilities. All toiletries are from POLA (Japan), and sound bath therapy is fully equipped. The yoga and dedicated sound bath healing classes have a wonderful environment, and the instructors are excellent. These are definite highlights of the hotel. There are also kayaking and various other water sports available. During the Qingming Festival, it wasn't quite warm enough, so more indoor activities and kayaking were observed. **Room Facilities:** The hotel facilities are very new, and the design in all areas is well thought out. The lake-view private hot spring rooms are fantastic; they're small suites with beautiful views outside the window, and you can also soak in a bath within the room. The ground floor has a small courtyard, and the second floor has a small balcony. **Hotel Service:** The hotel service is excellent and very professional. Staff actively inquire about guests' stay experience and various needs, almost always accommodating requests. **Pros:** The biggest impression is the tranquility. Compared to the bustling crowds of Aranya, it's a much more pleasant experience. You can genuinely stroll around the scenic area quietly with your kids and dogs, watching the sunrise and sunset, and gazing at the starry sky (the hotel provides detailed information on sunrise/sunset times and locations, and both the lake and sea are perfect for stargazing). **Areas for Improvement:** The breakfast is quite ordinary, and the number of good restaurants within the resort is limited. There's room to improve the variety and quality of breakfast, and perhaps attract more high-quality restaurants. In summary, it's a worthwhile and honest hotel that I'd happily revisit.
