My child loved it and wants to stay here again next time.
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has several hotels: Penguin Hotel, Spaceship Hotel, and Hengqin Bay. Each has its unique features. Hengqin Bay's main draws are its water park and dolphins. The water park opens at 9:30 AM, and that's when the dolphins are fed, allowing for close-up viewing.
The package ticket offers unlimited entry to Ocean Kingdom for two days, which is incredibly good value. Especially in the hot summer, you can get tired after half a day of playing, so it's great for kids to return to the hotel to rest and then come back the next day to finish exploring. Plus, you get one-hour early entry, avoiding the 10 AM queues at the main Chimelong entrance by using the hotel's exclusive通道.
Breakfast at the hotel is also very extensive, with a wide variety of steamed dim sum, noodles, and more. Everything is of excellent quality! My child had a blast eating and playing.
Hengqin Bay is absolutely massive, divided into Dolphin and Seahorse sections. Upon entering, you're almost shocked to see about a dozen counters with staff checking people in – it gets incredibly crowded! Naturally, during breakfast, two large restaurants serve food simultaneously.
There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but the concierge discreetly delivered four picture books and puzzles to the children, which was a very nice touch!
We also had an experience ordering takeout. Everyone waited at the takeout handover point, and we were all assigned four-digit codes, making it feel like a secret agent rendezvous – quite amusing.

Guest UserHad a fantastic mini-vacation with my bestie at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay! The hotel offers a great variety of activities, and our butler, Flora, received unanimous praise from both of us for her professionalism. @Flora's service was attentive, and she promptly responded to all our requests! The recommended 'Xiao Wan Travel Photography' is also super perfect for sisters who love to snap photos. In the evening, there are sunset activities on the beach, creating an absolutely amazing vibe for pictures. There are many dining options; the Food Gallery breakfast serves freshly made omelets and Cantonese dim sum, and the Thai food at Mi Yan is definitely worth trying, with its rich curry aroma. The room was clean and elegant, and opening the window revealed a large garden. We spent our free time strolling on the beach, enjoying the sea breeze at a leisurely pace – perfect for escaping the city and relaxing with friends.

Guest UserI chose this castle-themed hotel for my trip, and the entire experience far exceeded my expectations. It's perfectly suited for self-driving tours, leisure vacations, or even short business stays. The hotel's most striking feature is its European castle exterior, with pointed spires, domes, and delicate carvings. From a distance, it creates an incredible ambiance, making every photo Instagram-worthy. When the lights come on in the evening, it truly looks like a fairytale castle. Even my friends couldn't help but stop to take pictures – the building's aesthetic alone significantly boosted our overall impression.
During check-in, the staff member who assisted me, Jianbing, left a particularly deep impression. His service was enthusiastic and patient, meticulous and thoughtful throughout. He proactively introduced me to the hotel's various special facilities, from photo spots around the castle architecture to the operating hours of the buffet breakfast, pool, and executive lounge, as well as the parking location and sightseeing routes – he explained everything clearly. He patiently answered all my questions, and his detailed and attentive service made me feel incredibly welcome the moment I walked in.
For those traveling by car, I must commend the hotel's parking lot. It's spacious with plenty of parking spaces, so there's no need to worry about not finding a spot if you arrive late. The lanes are wide, making it easy to park both large and small vehicles. Parking was completely hassle-free, with no need to drive around looking for an empty spot, which is especially friendly for guests driving their own cars.
The buffet breakfast was a major surprise during this stay, with such a dizzying variety of options. The ingredients were fresh, and food was replenished promptly. The flavors catered to all ages, ensuring a satisfying and abundant breakfast every day, setting us up for an energetic start.
The hotel also features an executive lounge, which offers a quiet and elegant environment with expansive views. It provides snacks, drinks, and afternoon tea, eliminating the need to go out for extra meals. The lounge's comfortable setting is perfect for a relaxing break or simple work, making the executive benefits incredibly cost-effective.
The hotel's swimming pool offered an excellent experience. The water was clean and clear, and the pool area was well-lit. The decor was consistent with the overall castle style, making it suitable for adults to swim and relax, or for children to play. The facilities were well-maintained and spotless.
The guest rooms were clean and comfortable, with soft bedding and excellent soundproofing. The entire hotel combines aesthetics, dining, leisure amenities, and convenient parking, further enhanced by Jianbing's warm and meticulous service. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic, making it suitable for both short getaways and longer stays. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time.

First off, the check-in time was indeed quite long, but it's understandable given it was peak summer season. They even offered drinks while we waited, which was a nice touch! As an InterContinental member, I also received two complimentary drinks at the bar.
The hotel's facilities are excellent. I went for a spa treatment while my child and husband went swimming – a perfect arrangement. As soon as I finished my spa, the butler notified me that our room key was ready! There was also a welcome fruit platter in the room.
The room's view was absolutely unbeatable! We truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment.
However, I actually found the breakfast to be even better than the dinner buffet. The oil-splashed noodles at breakfast were delicious 😋, and the chef who made them had such character, clearly demonstrating his passion for food. I really admire him! Thumbs up to him! 👍
For dinner, the seafood wasn't very fresh; the oysters and crab meat were quite loose. Plus, on the second night, we wanted to try the Southeast Asian restaurant, but upon arrival, many dishes were unavailable, which was a bit disappointing, so we left to eat elsewhere. Also, the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM.
Overall, having stayed at this hotel over 10 years ago, returning now with my child, I still highly recommend it! The pool and beach are amazing, offering great privacy for guests! We will definitely be back 😊

We drove to Guangzhou Chimelong Hotel, and the journey from the car park to the lobby left a deep impression on us. The environment was beautiful, and there were clowns and mascots interacting and performing in the lobby, which we all loved!
We met a very enthusiastic security guard in the lobby. He proactively showed us where to check in, and after we'd checked in, he even helped us with our luggage to our room. On the way, he told us about the various restaurants and delicious food in the hotel, as well as information about getting to the park and transportation routes. He particularly highlighted important tips for driving through the safari park's North Gate on the mini-train.
Overall, the service at Chimelong Hotel is truly commendable and made our trip much more convenient. We'll definitely be back! It's worth praising and worth recommending to friends! Wishing Chimelong Hotel prosperous business!

The location is fantastic! There's a covered walkway, so even on rainy days, you can get directly to Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom without getting wet.
They even upgraded my room, and every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic. I think the staff here are as well-trained as those at Disneyland: even if a problem isn't directly their responsibility, they'll resolve it internally rather than leaving it for the customer to deal with. I really appreciate that.
Every day, the bed linens were arranged in a different, creative design ❤️
At the Penguin Restaurant, you can enjoy your meal while watching the penguins. The food selection is also very rich!

TiantiandechoubaobaoThe room was great, spacious and bright, and the location was absolutely fantastic – super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. The only downside was the air conditioning in the room; it was so noisy, constantly buzzing, which made it hard for my elderly parents to get a good night's sleep. Also, the parking fee was a bit expensive; it would be great if the hotel offered a discounted rate.

LIANKAIThe room was very comfortable and the environment was great, facing the sea with an unobstructed view. We could see beautiful fireworks at night 🎆. The service was also excellent and very attentive, especially from Customer Service Manager Lynn Cai (蔡桂娥) who thoughtfully reminded us of various important details 👍. The 31st-floor infinity pool 🏊♀️🏊 offers an unbeatable view 😻. If I come back again, I'll definitely stay at Dusit Thani 😄.

Forest Sea Hot Spring Resort Hotel, Baishui Village
This is my third visit to Forest Sea Resort, and the overall experience has once again exceeded my expectations. The hotel is nestled next to Baishui Village, surrounded by lush green mountains and trees, offering a tranquil environment. You can enjoy stunning mountain views right from your window.
The hotel amenities are excellent. Guests get unlimited access to the water park, which is indoors and temperature-controlled, so you don't have to worry about sun or rain. There's a wide variety of rides and attractions for all ages. This summer, they also opened a new Forest Park with various amusement rides and shows, which was a huge hit with both adults and kids.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The family rooms come with fun amenities like slides, which my kids absolutely loved. There are plenty of dining options, and the breakfast buffet is diverse. The service is prompt, and the staff are polite and friendly.
Everything you need for dining, entertainment, and relaxation can be found within the resort, making it incredibly convenient without the need to travel back and forth.

Anonymous UserI booked this hotel based on its 'luxury' branding, expecting a similar level of service for special needs guests as I've experienced at other Hilton and Indigo properties in the same category. What I found was truly eye-opening.
Upon arriving at night, there was no doorman or security, and the parking area outside was chaotic.
I had specifically requested a shower chair when booking online, and reiterated it multiple times during check-in. Yet, it took ages to arrive after I checked in. It was only after calling the front desk and multiple nudges from Trip.com customer service that it finally showed up.
Check-in itself took over 30 minutes; they couldn't find my booking when re-entering it. I had booked a sea-view room, but was assigned to the lowest floor. The 'sea view' was far from what the pictures depicted.
Room amenities were also surprisingly sparse: no welcome fruit, an empty minibar, and only two lonely bottles of water. Honestly, even an Atour hotel offers more.
While the hotel's hardware looks decent, service for guests with special needs felt like an afterthought. Despite its 'luxury' reputation, the responsiveness for basic accessibility features is worse than many standard chain hotels.
Underneath its high-end luxury facade, the overall experience was severely disappointing. It's no wonder many other hotels nearby were fully booked while this one still had vacancies; I now completely understand why.
My advice: don't gamble on this hotel's service.
