Romantic Hotels in Gansu, China

Traveling to Zhangye with two kids, I was impressed by the service from the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance. I completely forgot about our luggage in the taxi, but the security guard at the door kindly helped me carry it all the way to our room. The room itself was clean and tidy. Honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with the service here; everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic. After all, isn't good service and a pleasant environment what you look for in a hotel? In the evening, they even brought us snacks and treats. Because I had children, they also gave us some small toys, which was incredibly thoughtful. They even prepared foot-soaking tubs and cucumber masks for us in the evening – my kids and I were practically fighting over who got to use them! Highly recommended!

Zhagana Yunjing Wild House Tent is the most expensive hotel in this trip to Gannan. After checking in, I felt that everything was worth it. Not to mention that you can enjoy the fascinating scenery of Zhagana in the room, various meticulous and thoughtful services let us forget the fatigue of the journey and indulge in the beautiful hotel. The children had altitude sickness, and the hotel sent oxygen cylinders and breakfast to the room (our room was very high, and several waiters helped to move the luggage up at night, which was very embarrassing). Thank you very much. Not to mention the hotel environment, the snow-capped mountains behind are the Rock Road, and you can walk to the sign to check in. Due to the weather, I didn’t see Zhagana under the blue sky and white clouds. This regret will be made up next time. Next time, I will definitely choose Yunjing Wild House. Such a beautiful and warm hotel, everything is worth it. If you go to Gannan, you must check in Zhagana... Then in Zhagana, choosing Yunjing Wild House Tent Hotel will make your trip to Gannan more perfect!

I booked a basic room, and luckily, there were still rooms available that day, so the butler upgraded me. The tent is really picturesque for photos. The good mood I got upon entering the room compelled me to write a review about the butler! Before check-in, the butler proactively contacted me, informing me that the room included one fixed-point airport transfer. They also told me about the weather, helped me plan my itinerary and offered travel advice, and even recommended Dunhuang Print Shop for a visit. During my stay, the butler always responded instantly (except when they were picking up/dropping off guests, which I totally understand if replies were a bit slower). Even when I returned very late at night, a butler was still there. The front desk also left a phone number. I talk a lot and can be long-winded, haha, but they patiently answered all my questions. Huge thanks to the Shazhou Wild Luxury Camp butler team for making a solo female traveler feel so welcome and cared for. I will definitely be back next summer. I highly recommend it to every young lady looking for quality and experience – come and enjoy!

The location is excellent, with convenient access to restaurants and shopping nearby. The old street is very charming, the bed in the room is very comfortable, there is a laundry room, and parking is free. Getting around is also very convenient, as it's very close to museums and science and technology museums! Especially noteworthy is the presence of a sweet fermented rice milk tea shop and a hand-pulled noodle shop right next door!

As soon as we stepped into the desert, we were greeted by the meticulously decorated venue. The barbecued ingredients for the dinner were incredibly fresh, sourced daily. The grilled lamb skewers were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The tender lamb, accompanied by the aroma of cumin and chili peppers, sizzled with fat, and the aroma was so delicious I almost swallowed my tongue. The grilled chicken wings were golden brown, with crispy skin and tender meat, easily falling apart from the bone with a gentle bite. The grilled vegetables, like eggplant and corn, were perfectly grilled, with a sweet and flavorful texture that rivaled the meat. This desert dinner was impeccable, from the setting to the food and the arrangements. Highly recommended! Come and experience it once; you'll love it!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay. This hotel is very accommodating to foreign travelers. They did their best to communicate with our family to make sure they were happy and comfortable. The rooms are amazing and full of amenities. They have a restaurant downstairs and serve a large delicious breakfast each morning. They also have a movie subscription service with a nice selection of English movies as well. Fully enjoyed my stay and will definitely be staying again in the future.

The room was very clean. You can park in the basement right in front of the unit door, but you have to pay for parking separately. The basement of the community is connected, and you can go out from other exits to the new community next door to walk the dog, and then return the same way after the walk (the property management of the next door community uses access control). There is a chain beef noodle restaurant around the corner of the community, you can try it

I stayed there several times. The room is really big and clean. The facilities are complete. The service is very good. The lobby is high-end and classy. It is worth recommending.

The environment here is lovely. When we visited, the area was surrounded by apricot blossoms, and from the rooftop, it looked like a beautiful sea of flowers in the desert. The bedding was comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet during our stay, so we slept wonderfully. The breakfast was also quite unique, featuring apricot juice and beef noodles. On our second morning, we had to leave very early, and the owner even prepared packed breakfast bags for each of us. The only downside is that the facilities could use some improvement, especially the hot water for showers, which was often unavailable.

This business trip stay completely changed my perception of 'accommodation' 😭✨ 📍Located downtown yet nestled among greenery, stepping in reveals vintage brick walls + floor-to-ceiling windows, every snap is an Instagram-worthy shot 📸 The room features a low-saturation cream palette, and the bedding is unbelievably 60-count long-staple cotton, lying down feels like being wrapped in clouds ☁️ Here's the best part! The toiletries are Le Labo-scented, leaving my hair with a sophisticated salon scent after washing, I almost wanted to steal them when checking out (kidding, not kidding) 😂 Detail-oriented folks will be thrilled! There's a wireless charging pad by the bed, automatic curtains, and even a smart heated toilet 🚽 The freshly made wontons for breakfast were incredibly delicious, and the handmade macarons for afternoon tea were sweet but not cloying~ The front desk guy even helped with my luggage and reminded me to bring an umbrella on a rainy day, seriously, who understands this level of thoughtfulness!! 💯 And it's only 300+ per person!!
