Pho La Jolla

This is a restaurant owned by a Vietnamese boss, which is more in line with Chinese tastes. Because the Sheraton Hotel next to it is the closest and better hotel to UCSD, many parents who send their children to school stay here, and it is also convenient for students to come here, so there are many Chinese faces when dining. There are various flavors of rice noodles, which taste good and are not expensive.

Although it is a Vietnamese restaurant, it is more in line with Chinese tastes, especially the signature beef rice noodles, which are spicy or not spicy, and the spiciness is divided into 1-10 levels. I chose 5, which is just the right spiciness. I can't imagine how spicy 10 would be. The beef in the noodles is cut as thin as Lanzhou beef ramen, but the quantity is much larger. It soothed my Chinese stomach in time.
