The Smugglers Rest

We have had many meals at the Smuggiers Rest Peacehaven in the past for different occasions as it is quite close to home, We booked this our 28th wedding anniversary at short notice, And had another very enjoyable meal looked after by a very attentive waiter called Addison which made it all very pleasant meal/evening,

Great atmosphere, in lovely surroundings with good food at a fair price. Will go again as menu suits all ages making it a suitable venue for a family Sunday lunch.

Everything was really great. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Food was lovely. Only one thing I found a little bizarre, I had booked a table online and when we got there no table was reserved for the booking and was told they think there was one table left outside. We just had to arrange the seating, getting enough chairs and collecting the cushions ourselves. Only minor and didn’t spoil a very lovely evening

Lovely Sunday lunch. Veggie roast excellent. Thank you to all for a very enjoyable lunch, we were served by Olivia.

Would have been happier if the staff were wearing masks when breathing over the food / drinks also the windows need repairing to give better ventilation.......after all there is still a pandemic running rampant. Wearing masks costs very little after all.
