At last a pub to enjoy the food, beer and service

So many pubs claim homemade food- yes ,but assembled from bought in pre cooked food from caterers; the Barking Buck offers genuinely home made food of a high quality and is a beacon amongst the gloom of other so called "foodie "pubs. Visited on two occasions, excellent service, a good local ale and food well presented , tasty and good portions. We are selfishly glad its location is away from the main roads otherwise it would be overrun with diners- sorry for the owners and chefs as they deserve more recognition. We will return.

Fab food

Food is excellent, we had the asian chicken curry and pan fried sea bass,both delicious and the pecan pie is the best we have ever had !
