Jam in a Jar

Lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The chef came over to explain her menu - Brazilian tapas which was mostly new to us and really tasty. Then a live set with room for dancing - a relaxed and fun night out!

We booked a table for 4 to celebrate my friend's birthday. He,s a musician, so really appreciated the live music from the Bristol jazz folk band. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive, friendly and good humoured. I would advise eating early, as it got a bit noisy and busy around 9pm. Overall, a great night which satisfied on many fronts, Next time we hope to hear the Cuban band.

Went for brunch. Shakshuka was excellent - once if the best, courgette fritters very good too. Broccoli salad disappointing - broccoli was watery and dish was bland. Service efficient and very friendly.
