摆渡修行Kinship, a new American restaurant, one Michelin star
The food is above standard, the design of the dishes is full of ingenuity, and several signature dishes are well-deserved
I especially like the grilled scallops, the meat is smooth, with just the right freshness and tenderness
Olive oil shrimp with grilled cheese (highly recommended)
Seared scallops with carrot and lentil curry soup (highly recommended)
Seared duck liver with corn meat rice and bacon sherry vinaigrette (highly recommended)
Lobster toast with pear cucumber (delicious)
Orange madeleine with candied kumquat and caramel sauce (delicious)
Caramel banana ice cream (delicious)
Ray with leek, mushroom, tofu and lobster porridge
Page three dishes with sauerkraut
I want to try the signature foie gras roast chicken next time I go

It's the small Western restaurant you see in old American movies. The seats are smaller and there are many booths, which are perfect for couples to chat. The decoration is a bit old, but I think it's quite nostalgic.
We went there to eat with high expectations, and everything went well that night, until the man at another table decided to sit next to his companion, take off his shoes and put one foot on the chair he had originally sat on. When he sat in his new seat, he even had the foot odor on his other foot on the shoe, which loosened. All this happened while we were entering éES; the smell was disgusting and I couldn’t even remember the taste of the food.

When the server thought it was unruly, she watched the guest explain to her that he had a medical condition, so he raised his foot. To our surprise, the server said OK and moved away. When I expressed my displeasure, she said that behavior happens so often that she wouldn’t do anything...what?!? I wonder if a Michelin-starred restaurant, or any decent health-conscious restaurant, would support such behavior. No one should eat here until there is acceptable dining etiquette.
