in the midst of this iconic market is this restaurant upstairs, bar downstairs. We had the best food: halibut, with asparagus, spinach, rice and mango salsa.....it was divine. We ate in the upstairs dining room beside a window that overlooked the Puget Sound.

Eating asparagus for breakfast is very healthy. The coffee tastes good too, and the milk foam in the latte is great.

This is a great place to have breakfast, although I've been there several times for breakfast, never for lunch or dinner, so I can't vouch for those. It opens at 7, earlier than most places, which is very convenient for East Coast folks. The ocean view is great, the service is great, and the food is consistently delicious. I like the basic eggs, bacon, and hash browns, but they have a lot of options for eggs Benedict and omelets. The coffee is good, and my husband loves the salmon.
