This is not Tex Mex so don&#39;t compare ground beef to minced beef, this is a must visit Mexican restaurant in Utah, the stew is amazing, they have two locations, if one is busy (it usually is) walk to the other, they make great margaritas, yummy!

Red Iguana

This is probably the best Mexican restaurant in Salt Lake City. Locals love it. Authentic Mexican food and great margaritas. You may have to wait 20-40 minutes to get a table on a weekend night, but it&#39;s worth the wait.

It is a clean, cozy, nicely appointed space on the outskirts of the downtown area. Family-owned I think. Complete menu of Chinese entrees and dim sum (dim sum from 11-2).

The food was good and what you would expect from similarly priced establishments. However, the service was outstanding. It was late when we headed there and we didn&#39;t want to eat a full meal. We ordered several appetizers to share and the waitress was fantastic.

Okay, this place is a dive! But it has some very good tacos. They used to be on 900 West. But they moved to a new location. If you get the steak tacos, you will not be disappointed. Also, this place is cheap! cheap! cheap!
