We knew it would be an expensive meal so we were prepared to spend a decent amount. Jessica, our waitress was not pushy and she gave us a few tips for the menu which was helpful. The food really was outstanding. We sat at the counter and it was a great experience to see the chefs crafting each dish.
I followed others to eat here, and it turned out to be the best Japanese restaurant in Boston. The seafood is of course good, after all, the logistics of seafood in this port is very fast, and the Japanese beef is also delicious.
O Ya is a great example of food made into art. I lived in Japan for decades and ate sushi regularly, frequenting some of the best sushi restaurants. O Ya rivals and even exceeds them all. Every piece is a creative masterpiece. From its concept, to design, presentation, and taste, O Ya has extremely high standards. If you only eat one meal in Boston, it should be here.
A very good Japanese restaurant in Boston, you can have a buffet or order a la carte. If you have a good appetite, I recommend buying the buffet set meal, which is very cost-effective, with fresh ingredients and rich varieties.
