We came here to eat mainly for the filming of Thor 2. It&#39;s very famous, but the British cooking skills are really average, and the taste is really not that good. If you come here for the taste, you can skip this place.

I visited Ikoyi, the most noteworthy restaurant in the world, for the fifth time🌟🌟

Recently, I have been eating 2.0 of the restaurant I liked before when I returned to London😂I have eaten at Ikoyi four times before, from the opening to the one-star, and now the two-star. Friends around me have mixed opinions about it, and the polarization is serious. Some love it, and some hate it. It has just moved to 180 Strand, so I hurried here. The decoration is much more advanced. The restaurant has a warm and dim style, but the chandelier on the table can just shine on the food, and it knows how to take pictures. It is only open for dinner, and the kitchen team has more than a dozen people, plus other employees. I hope they don&rsquo;t lose money🥹

The new menu after this upgrade is 300 pounds per person, which directly becomes one of the most expensive tasting menus in London. The reason why it dares to charge so much may be because Jeremy has been very popular in Michelin and World Best 50 in recent years, and I am tired of talking about his handsomeness.

Everyone is talking about the West African elements of Ikoyi. In fact, I once heard Jeremy himself say that he doesn&#39;t like people defining Ikoyi as West African food. He just combined the spices he thought of, and it just happened to have West African elements in it. He prefers people to say that he is creative.

The first few snacks on the new menu have a lot of Chinese flavors. After his integration, they are strange and familiar. Drunken Chicken Toast is a second back to China, Mussel &amp; Saffron Cr&egrave;me Caramel is the first dish I like the seasoning. The main course is still as usual with a lot of West African spices, and the sweetbread is well processed, with a little crispy on the outside. The classic roasted plantains and smoked pepper stewed rice are both signature dishes, but the ingredients and flavor combinations will change according to the season. The dessert was also innovative, the sweet and spicy Hibiscus sobert woke me up from my tipsy mood😅

My sister ordered a bottle of the popular Little Angel red wine from Roman&eacute;e Village in Burgundy, which has a very low production and needs to be matched🍷We didn&#39;t taste any floral aroma, but the tannin was very smooth.

After dinner, I saw on XHS that Ah Sa was sitting at the table next to me that night, but I didn&#39;t see her because I didn&#39;t wear contact lenses🥹There were probably only 20 people in the restaurant, and I was upset all day!

Our waiter was amazing , tentative but not too over tentative, food was in abundance and the savouries were lovely, particularly the salmon quiche. So much nicer than the usual salmon sandwiches! The restaurant itself has a 1990&rsquo;s feel about it, not really to my taste but I guess it&rsquo;s aimed more at families and kids! Great afternoon tea!

Amazing! The service was super friendly! The team makes you feel like family and really look after you, Food somehow was even better! really nothing bad to say about this place. I dislike seafood, for years growing up i just could never enjoy a seafood dish. My partner on the other hand is Asian, Half Viet, Half Thai, so nothing more to say there. But .... Having the tasting menu, we got to try a lot of the dishes on the menu, including seafood. I have to admit, as much as love meat dishes and the rib eye there was amazingggggg, the seafood flavors were next level and was one of a few times I could say, was better than the meat flavor. Overall, it is such a great gem of a spot! I am in two minds in leaving a review that is honest to share but afraid it will become too crowded to ever get a seat again.Truthfully, give the spot a try if you are looking for real flavorful Asian Cuisine.

Foie gras, mushrooms and creamy rice stew | The fat foie gras is fried until tender and fragrant, and it is really delicious when eaten with the milky rice stew! The milky flavor is rich and the entrance is smooth and delicate. You can&#39;t stop eating it one bite at a time. The quantity is just right and you won&#39;t feel sick after eating it~

The food was tasty, well presented and good value. The service was friendly and efficient. An excellent spot for a pre-theatre meal.

This western restaurant is located in Lambeth. There are many set menus to choose from for lunch and dinner. It is more cost-effective to choose a set menu. The menu items are also changed from time to time. The steak is pretty standard and the mussels and oysters are very fresh.

We had a really great experience, the staff from arrival are helpful ,polite,happy in their jobs truly lovely The food is excellent and great value we also enjoyed our cocktails! Will be definitely going again, lovely view from 8th floor of the Thames.

After many years, I finally returned to OXO — and the terrace is still absolutely stunning. Especially with London’s recent unbelievably good weather, the sun doesn’t set until 8:30 PM. It’s truly lovely!

Sangria Sin
A very refreshing mocktail — perfect for times when you’re not drinking alcohol!

Crab
The crab meat is finely shredded and paired with elderflower jelly and what I think are lightly pickled spring onions. It tastes incredibly refreshing, and the oat crumble adds a really nice texture.

Lobster Ravioli
The lobster at the base is especially fresh — tender and springy. The seasoning is light yet flavourful, and the textures of the ingredients are well balanced.

Cornish Skate Wing
This fish was just okay — nothing special, but not bad either. The potatoes were soft and comforting.

Dry Aged Beef Fillet
Cooked to a perfect medium — tender and easy to cut. The sauce really elevated the dish! The bone marrow is plated on the side with some accompaniments. You get two pieces of steak in one portion, so it’s quite generous.

Chips
Perfectly crispy — these thick-cut fries are seriously tasty!

Lots of people were enjoying drinks while watching the sunset here — super relaxing!
