Great pub with amazing food and top quality service. Defiantly will be visiting again! We had a mixture of mains starters and desserts on our table and everything was lovely. All of my family were very happy and a great night spent at the burnt post.

Lovely food and lovely staff (Evie and colleagues). Can&apos;t fault it, best sea bass I&apos;ve had, and cask ale! Top marks to everyone.

I&apos;ll be back

Called in late afternoon for a drink and bar snack.   Had the fish finger sandwich with fries, a simple dish but it was cooked really well.  Extremely good value compared to other pubs in the area.  Had a couple of pints of Timothy Taylor, a really nice pint.  Served by a pleasant young lady called Rhia who was very friendly and welcoming.

Enjoyable bar snack

Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch. We had a roast beef dinner and the trio.  Dinners came promptly and both were lovely as usual, cooked to perfection and presented well. Amazing roast potatoes. Service was great. Staff are always friendly and polite.

Best Sunday lunch around.

On previous visits, the food has been reasonable, but yesterday it was very poor. Lukewarm food, much smaller piece of haddock with batter raw inside. The guy who collected the plates didn&apos;t ask if everything was OK, although much of the food  was left on plate. Not sure that I&apos;ll be back.
