I booked a meal for 7 people online. Quick and simple way of making a booking. Lovely atmosphere and food was of a very good standard. We travelled from Walsall and several members of the party said they would be going back with their families. Service was great too with friendly staff. Lots of parking space is available.

The Crown is a warm and welcome place, nothing is too much rouble!  Love staff, lovely food and a lovely place a date night!   Highly recommend for a lovely night out!

Fabulous meal and really great staff. We tey to visit for a quiet meal at least once a month as we really enjoy the meal and the opportunity to just relax. Would highly recommend.

Food was good but lacking in garnish and presentation.  Requires more thought and creativity from the chef.  The atmosphere was good but music a little loud for diners wishing to have a conversation.  Perhaps the DJ could be positioned away from diners or the dining area shuffled around to provide the opportunity for conversation without shouting.

We had a warm welcome.  My first choice for main course was not available.  I feel that the menu choices rarely change, very much the same as the last time I visited in September.

Danny our waiter was excellent. We met up with friends and wanted to chat the background music was loud so it was turned off when we asked which was much better. The restaurant was quite busy so it didn&rsquo;t spoil the ambience. The food was quite good the men both had pizzas which they enjoyed. A couple of items weren&rsquo;t available on the menu, so had to choose again which was a little disappointing. The ambience is good the eclectic decor creates warmth. We had a great evening.

I am local and have always loved this place. I&rsquo;m afraid we locals still refer to it as &quot;The Foaming Jug&quot;. There is a lovely &quot;olde worlde&rsquo; ambience about the place and the staff always so friendly and &quot;nice&quot;. Needless to say the food is excellent.
