Tuna salad, vegetable salad and tuna meat mixed together, tasted particularly refreshing, and the sauce was also delicious. The chicken steak with black pepper sauce was particularly tender and had a strong flavor, which was particularly delicious.
As a loyal fan of Korean dramas, it was totally unexpected to see soybean paste soup in a restaurant. The taste is really Korean, hot and rich soybean paste flavor, just like being in a Korean drama. A bowl of it in winter is really amazing!
We fell asleep right after we came out of the playground, and woke up when we were almost done eating😂 We ate at surf kitchen tonight, the tom yum goong was OK, the curry crab was not as good as the one in Singapore, the fried intestines, eh, let's skip it, the mango sticky rice was also good, anyway, we were quite full [yeah] We walked along the road after eating and drinking, and encountered a lot of cockroaches, which scared the kid so much that he jumped up and down [laugh cry]
- Handmade soup noodles with pickled mustard greens and shredded pork: Pickled mustard greens are added to the pickled mustard greens, and the shredded pork is a little too big, but the overall taste is good, the soup is slightly spicy, and it tastes good. The noodles here are homemade, and the texture is good if they are not overcooked (I encountered it once and it was overcooked, and I found it a little soft when I first ate it). - Handmade beef soup noodles: The soup is much lighter than the pickled mustard greens and shredded pork noodles, mainly relying on the beef topping, - Handmade barbecued pork soup noodles: The barbecued pork is quite generous, the taste is a little salty, and the color is darker. Although the taste and texture of the barbecued pork are a little different from what I imagined, it is OK with the soup noodles. By the way, the extra braised egg is not worth it, and it is basically not cooked into the flavor. - Handmade roast duck soup noodles: In fact, the soup in this dish is the lightest among the four dishes, and it is just right with the slightly oily roast duck. The roast duck is also quite a lot, one noodle + roast duck, basically full. - Roast duck: The key point is the fat-lean ratio, which is quite good. The overall taste is also very good, but it feels a little oily. I love this roast duck. If two people can't eat half a duck for 12 euros, you can ask the boss for a smaller plate for 8 euros. - Handmade beef balls + fish ball soup noodles: First of all, I want to say that the soup noodles have a smell (the same as the one I tasted in Tom Yum, a Thai restaurant before). The boss explained that the soup noodles were bought ready-made outside. The texture of the handmade beef balls is good, and the fish balls are a little sticky. - Northern dumplings: Very big, with enough filling. The two of us think that the cabbage filling is better than the celery filling (personal taste is different). 7.5 euros for such a large plate, I think it is also quite affordable. - Fresh bamboo bean curd rolls: Pork and shrimp filling, seasoned well.
The restaurant was very quiet. We ordered pickled trout, potatoes and dill butter. The pickled trout was scaled and sliced and eaten directly. The fish meat was great, and I liked the thick cuts. The slightly salty taste went well with the boiled potatoes. Fried veal steak and potato salad. The potato salad was cooked and sealed. The veal steak had been flattened and rolled up. After unpacking, just spread it out, sprinkle some salt and black pepper, and dip it in flour (bring your own), eggs and breadcrumbs. The restaurant recommended frying it in lard, but we didn't have it at home, so we used butter. Huzi was amazed at the first bite of the fried veal steak. The homemade breadcrumbs were fried super crispy, and the veal wrapped in it was very tender.
I walked there from the hotel navigation. It's not far and tastes good. Many Europeans and Americans eat it! The pineapple rice doesn't have pork floss! The apple pie is super delicious! There is also papaya salad! You must try it if you stay at a hotel in Jomtien Beach!
The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast, but the lunch and dinner are Michelin star quality and the prices are comparable. I had lunch here and chose the sirloin steak cooked medium rare. The main course also came with a salad as a side dish. The steak was cooked very well and very tender. Let me describe it in detail. The steak was placed on a bed of mashed potatoes and some vegetables were cleverly matched on the plate.
