As a typical Thailand Chinese restaurant, the Shanghai restaurant can make some eastern China flavor dishes.
The Shanghai snacks are a bit more expensive. The xiaolongbao are really expensive. The pork rib noodles taste okay, but they don't have the Shanghai flavor. The shrimps taste okay.
It is considered to be a pretty good Shanghainese dish in Pattaya. The knife-cut steamed buns and dumplings taste good. The salt and pepper shrimp also has Shanghai flavor, and the spicy and sour potato shreds are obviously Sichuan cuisine.
One of the few Chinese restaurants in Pattaya, the store is not big, clean and tidy enough! There are not many menus. The service is average. The average price per person is about 70 RMB. The decoration style is very Chinese. This place is recommended for gatherings in foreign countries. Tried the recommended dish, braised beef noodles: the beef is sufficient and tastes good! The biggest failure is the noodles! The noodles are very sticky and not chewy! It directly affects the overall taste! Cream steamed buns: It is not easy to eat noodles in a foreign country. This is great. The steamed buns are soft and the steamed buns dipped in condensed milk feel very fragrant, not very sweet. Dry-fried green beans: The beans are not heated enough, so there is no burnt skin feeling of a multi-fryer. Farmer's fried dried tofu: It is not consistent with the picture! The appearance is not good enough! The dried tofu tastes dry. Spare ribs and kelp soup: This dish feels very unsuccessful, the picture and text do not match, the soup tastes poor, and it looks unappetizing! The only reward is that the meat is very soft. Beijing-style shredded pork with soy sauce: I don't want to comment. It may be very different from the picture. Just change the name to fried pork with shallots.
I've eaten a lot of Thai food, and I always want to taste the taste of my hometown. Shanghai Restaurant, haha, I don't know how Shanghai cuisine tastes in Thailand. The location is not easy to find. I was so hungry when I found it. I must order the staple food, Shanghai fried noodles. I tried the dishes. The taste is okay, but it may need to conform to the taste of Thai diners. The noodles are very sweet, not bad, but not the taste of Shanghai fried noodles. Pineapple and old pork, sour and sweet, very delicious, faintly revealing the taste of Thai spices, Xiaolong, not bad, with Chinese taste, more authentic, spicy fried clams, not bad, very delicious, tomato egg soup, a little strange, it seems that our hibiscus fresh vegetable soup needs to be appropriately improved to suit the local taste. There are locals and foreigners who come here to eat. It is not easy to eat dishes close to the taste of Shanghai in Thailand. I am satisfied
Real Chinese food-good value I have to agree with all the GOOD reviews in TA. In Thailand many Chinese restaurant actually serve Thai style food. This is the real deal, real home style Chinese food. Pleasant decor, friendly staff and fast service. To my surprise my favorite dish was the spicy eggplant, but everything is tasty, nothing fancy, just good. Nice noodles-handmade. We had four dishes, rice and a large beer which was too much food and spent around 700 baht. Reasonable prices, we''re already planning to go back.
Super good! Especially the fish-flavored pork shreds ~ it can compete with the ones in China! After eating Thai food for several days, I finally found a Chinese restaurant! So touching!
I came here specially after seeing the Shanghai restaurant online. First, I wanted to support the Chinese people, and second, I wanted to eat Chinese food. The environment is not bad, just like what the Shanghai boss does. The restaurant is also very clean. They have noodles, stir-fried vegetables, and steamed dumplings.
