Ban Khun Pu Restaurant

Hat Yai is a small border town in southern Thailand, adjacent to Kelantan, Malaysia. You will see many tourists from Malaysia and Singapore here. This restaurant is located in the city center. It serves typical southern Thai cuisine with a heavier taste and many sour and spicy ingredients.

We had a pleasant lunch here, all their food tasted very good and was reasonably priced. The owner was very friendly and recommended us the best of their menu. We will definitely come back!

The boss is very kind, speaks fluent English, and enthusiastically recommended the store's signature dishes to us.

The food is very filling and the price is not expensive.

We ordered five or six dishes and they all tasted pretty much the same, not bad, but I wouldn't say they left a deep impression on me either.
