Jok Sompet Restaurant

We came across this restaurant when we were out for supper. We chatted and found out that this restaurant is open all night. We ordered a seafood and vegetable soup and a Tom Yum Goong soup. They were both delicious. They also put a variety of side dishes in it. It was good and cost-effective.

It's a very simple roadside restaurant set up in a shed. The owner is really welcoming, the food portions are big, the coconut milk is delicious, it's the sweetest coconut milk I've had in Thailand, the Tom Yum Goong soup has a lot of things in it, but it's relatively light, which suits my appetite, and the water spinach is pretty good.

We happened to pass by here, so we came in to eat. When ordering, you have to fill in the form yourself. There is no English, only Thai. I couldn't understand it and felt tired, so I called the waiter to order. The restaurant served the food very quickly. We ordered rice paste, which seemed to be 30 Thai baht per bowl. The portion was large and the taste was very good.

We ordered by looking at the menu, and I finally realized the disadvantages of not being good at English, haha. We ordered the dishes carelessly, and when they were served, we found that they tasted pretty good.

It is a 24-hour restaurant near Chiang Mai Old Town. The menu is diverse, so it was like a Korean kimbap heaven. The taste of the food was above average. It is one of my favorite restaurants because the taste and price are reasonable.
