Tom Yum Kung Restaurant Khaosan is located at 9 Chakkarapong Rd, Taladyod, Phra Nakhon | Khao San Road Area, Bangkok, Thailand. It is inside the Khaosan Night Market and is easy to find. We found a place with air conditioning. The food was served very quickly when we ordered, and the Tom Yum Goong soup was really delicious. It was a pity that the food was not very hot. The other dishes were also good. It is a good restaurant overall.

The Khaosan Road Night Market is mostly populated by tourists, including many Europeans and Americans. The food they cook is average in taste and the prices are higher than other places, so after eating, I don’t come to the night market anymore and just check in.

There are all kinds of Thai specialties here. The steamed lemon sea bass is very tender and the portion is large, more than 2 pounds. The green lemon is placed on top to remove the fishy smell and enhance the freshness. The pineapple rice is beautiful in shape, and it is covered with meat floss, but the fried rice is not very flavorful. The shrimp spring roll is highly recommended, it is a whole shrimp, not shrimp paste. The curry crab is bad, the crab meat is bitter and has no freshness at all.

Super delicious, cheap. Four people ate less than 200 RMB. Don't look at the address on Dianping.com, it will take you a detour. This restaurant is on Kaoshang Road. Drinks are served outside, but the blue and white house inside is their home. You can pay with Alipay.

The two of us ordered mango sticky rice, stir-fried water spinach, curry squid, Tom Yum Goong soup, a glass of pineapple juice, and a glass of mango juice. The mango was sweet, the sticky rice was sticky, and there was something crunchy on it. The stir-fried water spinach had a heavier taste, and the Tom Yum Goong soup was better than expected, with three prawns and some mushrooms. The soup was slightly spicy and sour, and the overall feeling was good. The restaurant is open and there is a breeze. When you are tired and thirsty, sit down and have a drink and a meal. It feels great!

The environment is very good, especially sitting in the open air at night, eating and watching the performance, it is very comfortable. But the taste of the dishes is really average, spicy and salty. The Tom Yum Goong soup can only be eaten with rice, it is too salty to drink alone. The pineapple fried rice and shrimp cakes taste good and are worth recommending.
