Jok Pochana

My wife and I kicked off our Thai vacation at Jok Pochana. While my small noodle pad Thai was decent, the star of the show was my wife's crab curry. It was absolutely mouthwatering!For two meals, a beer and a refreshing coconut, we paid a very reasonable ฿680 or $19.81. If you're looking for a tasty and affordable meal, I highly recommend giving Jok Pochana a try.

This place is really good. Although it is a roadside restaurant, it is recommended by Michelin after all. The Thai food is quite authentic and standard. The crab meat fried eggs are quite good and taste very fragrant. There is no air conditioning, the price is affordable, and it is suitable for casual eating. Bitter melon fried eggs are recommended.

A super affordable restaurant. We ordered three items for only 300 baht, which was enough for two people. There was Tom Yum Goong, water spinach, and fried rice, and the portions were quite large. It is worth recommending to friends who are traveling independently.

jok phochana is a relatively inconspicuous but popular food stall near Khao San Road. The restaurant is simply decorated, with almost nothing except the usual plastic chairs and iron tables. The room is clean, which is also the most important criterion for street food stalls. The waiters may also serve as chefs, and are quite simple, but the dishes are very popular. Recommended hot and sour chicken soup, lemongrass omelette, Thai garlic fried shrimp.

I simply ordered pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong, fried clams and fried water spinach. It cost me more than 300 yuan in total. The pad Thai tasted good, the fried water spinach had a special bean paste, and the fried clams were fried with scallions and ginger, and also had sauce. Overall, the taste was good, but there was only one chef, so I had to wait for 40 minutes for the fried dishes to come out at 7:30 pm.

A very popular food stall near Khao San Road, with a small reputation. We recommend the curry crab and stir-fried macaroni, which taste very good.
