La Taverna del Pittore Lugano

Very nice restaurant with delicious and high quality food. The wine and service was also almost perfect. It is a good recommendation for Italian food.

It’s a lovely tavern overlooking the mountains right next to the station. The menu is small which means the dishes are excellent and the service is good. I would recommend a visit!

Even as an experienced Italian kitchen lover, I was surprised by intelligently composed dishes, superb ingredients, prepared by a talented chef. The service team was very super attentive and made me wanna stay forever. I did come back for more and will return for sure.

We were visiting Lugano from NYC and wanted a local experience. We sat outside even though it was raining but warm. We stayed dry and the food was hot. The staff made us feel very comfortable.

Everything good. Just go there and experience it for yourself. Tip - reserve one of the tables on the patio that gives a view over the lake and the mountains. Very pleasing experience - ambience, food, service and fairly priced
