Sakura Restaurant is a restaurant in Dambulla that specializes in Sri Lankan cuisine and is quite popular. Their lunch buffet is good, with chicken curry, fish curry and a variety of local vegetables. They are all pretty good. There is also yogurt and fruit after the meal. This is a cafeteria to replenish your energy while traveling.

The first lunch of the Sri Lanka trip was at a buffet restaurant. Later I learned that many of the restaurants here are buffets. It is more convenient.
The dishes are all local ingredients and simple cooking. Not everyone can get used to it. Just eat until you are full.
