Sichuan cuisine is super delicious. I still want to eat Chinese food when I am abroad. The service is good and the experience is OK.

We had lunch here at Golden Dragon a few a weeks back. An interesting menu, wonderful meal that was perfectly served. The servers here are very pleasant. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing.Must try!

Although this establishment can boast of some good staff & excellent service, the food is definitely sub standard. For years now I have been a patron of the Golden Dragon at Taj Hotel, Mumbai and hence I was quite excited when I located a Golden Dragon at Taj Samudra & decided to have dinner on my visit to Colombo. Unfortunately the food served here was unappetising, flavourless & disappointing. The rice noodles with chilli vegetables ordered was vermicelli with barely any vegetables & no chilli, absolutely bland. The Kungpao potatoes tasted foul. The honey & chilli stir fried water chestnuts were OK, but a bit on the sweeter side. I was told they were made from frozen chestnuts. Not happy. The manager brought in a noodle dish as a replacement. I did try the noodles, they were better then the previous dish but not the best and nowhere near the Golden Dragon noodles I am used to, they were sent back too. What a disastrous meal, My wife and me walked out hungry. The manager did extend his apologies & his consideration on the discounted bill is appreciated but Taj get your act right, stop calling this restaurant a Golden Dragon when its not half as good as the iconic Golden Dragon in Mumbai
