I took my kids to Malaga for vacation and visited two very beautiful towns nearby (Nerja and Frigiliana). These two towns are so beautiful that I was amazed. Frigiliana is located in Andalusia. It is a white town known as Little Greece. The whole town is built on a hillside. The white houses are staggered and every house is decorated with flowers. You can drive or take public transportation (Alsa bus) to Nerja and change to a bus (15 minutes drive). The transfer point in Nerja is about 100 meters away from the Alsa bus. It is easy to find. There are many bus trips between Malaga and Nerja Alsa. Tickets can be purchased on the official website. Please note that there are two bus stations in Malaga! The sea view is super beautiful, Tiffany blue, and the sand is very soft. Because these two towns are very close, you can arrange to visit them on the same day.
