The food quality was great and the portion sizes were reasonable too. We had three unexpected guests arrive and the staff were able to accommodate them even though the restaurant was fully  booked. We enjoyed our food a lot and will return.

Traditional food with a touch of the author. The service was a 10, recommendations off the menu and accompaniments that made it even better. The chestnut puree with the pigeon...incredible.

Lovely food, traditional tapas with a haute cuisine touch. We arrived at our booking at 8pm to be told the kitchen wasn&rsquo;t open till 8.30. No matter, we had a couple of beers in the adjacent bar. Unfortunately there was a very loud Englishman in there too, swearing to a mate. Really not great for the atmosphere-can&rsquo;t blame the restaurant for this, but might have been nice to see the proprietor having a quiet word with him. Food really was good. Quantities good and a great variety. We noticed there were quite a few options that needed 24hrs notice, which cut down the options. Good wine list. We thought we ordered a 14&euro; bottle of Rioja, but got charged 28&euro; for, presumably a more expensive wine. Were we up sold? Not sure but I think there might have been a language problem ? The wine was good though!
