It is recommended to come later, because it is too hot during the day. If you are tired, you can go to the tourist center to sit down, not only can you enjoy the air conditioning and take a rest, but also free mineral water and brochures. The staff is also super enthusiastic. - ▪️ You are not allowed to bring professional cameras. I guess they are afraid that the flash will damage the cultural relics. Small cameras must be reported. I brought a Sony Evz10, and they told me to take photos and report. But they also let me bring it in. Also remember not to wear anything too revealing. The staff reminded us to cover our shoulders. #Travel in the Ancient Style #I spend the New Year abroad Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia, located on the plains at the bottom of the Hanifa Valley. The former desert town has become a beautiful oasis city after the discovery of oil. Walking in the ancient city, the desert-style buildings make people feel quiet and comfortable instantly, and people can't help but want to explore. The top 1 must-see attraction in Riyadh in my mind is Historical Diriyah, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and has been open to tourists since the end of 22. Address: Located at At-Turaif World Heritage Site, it is less than 30 minutes' drive from the city center. It is recommended to charter a car, and there is a palm-tree-lined avenue down the road. The opening hours during Ramadan are from 4pm to 3am. The consumption in the restaurant in the ancient city can be deducted, which is about the same as playing. The best time to play: arrive at 4-5pm in the evening. The portraits are great under the sunset. Walk around for about 2 hours, and then feel the excellent lighting design at night. Experience two completely different landscapes at once. After the tour, the restaurant is open and you can enjoy the food. Route: The ticket entrance is Figure 2. There are beverage and snack bars on both sides. Go straight ahead and you can see Figures 3 and 4. The staff suggested that you can go to the right to the end and then go back and forth. There are several areas in the square (Figure 5) where there are regular speeches. When you see Figure 6, you will enter the ancient city. First walk into At-Turaif Mosque, where the enthusiastic staff will invite you to watch the moon with an astronomical telescope. Follow the crowd and you will see six or seven exhibition halls, including Addiriyah Museum, Arabia Horse Museum, Military Museum, etc. (Figure 10). Be sure to go to Imam Abdullah bin Saudi Palace when it gets dark (Figure 11). Excellent light and shadow are projected on the mottled walls, outlining the ancient Arab architectural style and the changes of time. If you are tired, you can also sit in cafe Bateel (Figure 12), have a cup of coffee and overlook the ancient city skyline. Restaurant recommendations: Go right from the entrance to Villa Mamas Riyadh Italian Restaurant and Long Chim Thai Restaurant, and go left to Chez Bruno Riyadh French Restaurant, Tatel Spanish Restaurant, and Hakkasan Riyadh Chinese Restaurant.
