I only tried the Cherry Ginja liqueur, I don't know about the others
Time: February 21-22, 2020 Preface: The three charms of travel are meeting delicious food, encountering beautiful scenery, and making new friends. Obidos occupies the top two. 🌺 Restaurant recommendations in Obidos 🍹 Jamon Jamon 📍Don't miss this lovely little restaurant, which is outside the Villa Gate and in front of the tourist information office. 🍃 The quaint restaurant has 6 tables. There is an old-fashioned oven, where fresh bread and other meals are baked in a wood-fired oven. Some special dishes are offered every day. 🍃 It is recommended to sit quietly and enjoy the unique atmosphere here. 🍹 Senhor da Pedra 📍 The simple little restaurant with white tiles is located behind the magnificent Church of Our Lord Jesus. It is a place to taste the inexpensive grape sprouts. 🍃 It adopts a traditional family-run model. Mom is busy in the kitchen. Dad greets guests. Don't expect fast service. 🍹 Tasca Torta 📍 Pleasant bustle, tempting aromas and colorful dishes make this a stylish and modern restaurant. 🍃 A row of cozy tables on one side of the restaurant and the kitchen on the other. Black and white photos of Portuguese fishermen. 🍃 Salmon lasagna and octopus three ways. Delicious tapas served on slate plates. 🍹 Petrarum Domus 📍Surrounded by old stone walls. 🍃 Delicious and hearty dishes, pork with mushrooms, assorted seafood sausages and several salt cod platters. Homemade pasta dishes. 🍹 Alcaide 📍First restaurant in Óbidos. Upstairs window overlooking the town. 🍃 Creative dishes such as cod with cheese, chestnuts and apples. Better quality than most restaurants on the main street. 🌺 Bars in Obidos 🍹 Bar Cave Do Vale 📍 A medieval drinking cave. With dripping wax and stone walls. 🍃 A fun bar on this street, great for an after-dinner drink. 🍃 Serves home-made cider. 🍹 Troca Tintos 📍 A Fado shawl and guitar on the wall. This used to be a church. 🍃 Serves a range of delicious wines, tapas, and live music, including Fado every Monday night.
