Nonki Japanese Restaurant (Main - Mandaue)

We visited a local shopping mall, which is different from many malls in Cebu now. Although it is not big, its feature is to provide local products for locals, rather than just selling branded products like big malls. The food in this restaurant is served quickly and well. The portion is large and fresh. Worth a try.

A very nice izakaya. I didn't expect there was such a shop on the island. They serve sake, salmon sashimi, and many delicious skewers. Of course, Japanese food is relatively expensive in Southeast Asia.

Compared to Japanese food in Japan, the food here is also very delicate, the presentation is also very good, and the tableware looks very retro, but I always feel that it lacks some authentic Japanese flavors. For example, the wasabi here is not freshly ground, but made in a toothpaste-like manner.
