The Hippo Hotel was moved from the current location of the National Museum of New Zealand to the opposite side of the building! The decoration style inside is quite retro! It is one of the oldest hotels in Wellington! We went to have their famous afternoon tea, which was a little expensive and tasted OK! But the desserts of foreigners were too sweet!
